1980s, (no time given)
The only thing that I can count as an encounter of any kind was back in (I think) the 1980s when my wife, daughter and I were traveling some back roads between Florida and Alabama in daylight. Off to my right I caught a glimpse of 5 or 7 black shaped objects near the ground but in the air. I called to my wife to look and she saw them as did my daughter. I had to turn back to look at the road ad before I could look back there were trees in between us and the objects. I saw that the clump of pine trees were coming to an end and it appeared the objects may have been headed our direction too so I looked for them again when we got to the clearing where I could look back a bit toward where they were... nothing. Not one.
Heard no sound. We had car windows up so that could have muffled any sound. The first thought was helicopters since we have a very large helicopter base in the area but there were no rotors on top or back (whichever end of these things were the back) Anyhow with that many helicopters I would have heard the thumping of the blades if they had them. I detected no windows or anything in the brief chance I had to observe them. I pride myself in being up on most of the modern day aircraft and they were nothing like I'd ever seen before. The wife remembers it but does not remember much of it. In fact when I asked her what she remembered she said: "Lights that moved real fast." What I saw was a lack of light (black objects) and did not seem to be moving unless they were going about the same speed as the car in the direction of the car. So there you are.... how can anyone verify anything when memories vary so much ?
Thank you to the witness for their report.
