Date: July 2, 2010
Time: After dusk.I was out on the pier on Lake De Nevue outside of Fond du Lac, WI looking at stars on July 2, 2010 after dusk had fallen. I watched 2 glowing orange balls traveling side by side come over the lake from the South going North about cloud level (although the night was clear). The balls moved slowing. I was alone that night and was accused of having too many brooskies when I went back into the cottage and told the group of what I saw.
The following night there were about 8 of us on the pier and the balls showed up again about the same time. This time there was a lead ball and a couple hundred feet back there was another glowing ball. They traveled at the same speed and in a consistent formation and in the same direction till they went over the horizon. We had a cell phone and took a picture of one of the balls, but it just shows up as a spot with no zoom capability.
The following night it was cloudy and fireworks going off on the lake, so we did not see anything.
