I seen a reddish orange light also in the western sky of Bradenton FL. Maybe around June 10, 2012(day not exact). It looked like it was probably over the bay west of el concisador. I only seen one moving very fast then disappear. It was heading southwest. Where did you see yours?
ReplyDeleteJuly 5, 2012 Was about 12:30AM, sitting on the beach on Anna Mria Island. Saw floating reddish, orange lights. Four other people saw these as well. Thought thy might be flares (SOS), contemplated contacting police or Coast Guard but didn't see anymore.
ReplyDeleteSaw this same thing on July 24, 2012 just before midnight in Spokane, WA. Bright orange glow appeared in sky to the northeast. Appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed then slowed down and continued to the southwest at the slower rate of speed. The light appeared to go out but was still able to see whatever it was before losing site of it on the horizon. Thought it may be a high flying military plane catching the sun as it shines through the atmosphere at an extreme angle.
