Time: Approx: 12:00 a.m.
I was at a Blues Festival in Prairie du Chien, WI. At around 12:00 a.m. I noticed in the sky, very low in the sky, an orange/yellow light sort of floating upward, then another and another until there were about 7.
They were scattered in the same area of the sky (westerly) and they drifted upward and from side to side and gradually the brightness would diminish one at a time until they were all gone.
It seemed to happen in about a 15 minute period of time.
There were others besides me who witnessed this. We thought they might have been helicopters, but then thought no, couldn't be.
