Hi, I live out on Lummi Island and was waiting in the ferry line (mainland side, 9:10 p.m.) when I saw six lights. I got out of my truck and they were sort of like in formation, and then changing.
Some would blink out and then reappear. A couple of friends were in the car behind me and they got out and saw them, too. Then they all disappeared and there were at least three planes in the air.
They were not planes. They would have been hovering over Bellingham Bay. A friend of mine has some great pictures he took on the 4th of July of them.
They seem to be frequent visitors lately. Spooky? Sort of.
