Thee Yellow Glowing Lights Over Sarasota Florida

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

My father-in-law and I were walking the dogs at around 7:30 p.m. on December 31st, 2012. When we looked up in the sky and saw three yellow lights glowing and traveling in a triangular formation.

As they traveled northwest they seemed to glide in perfect order. We could not here any engine noise. As they passed overhead the glowing disappeared slowly until there were no lights at all.

They were moving too fast to be weather balloons. Does anyone know what they could have been?

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

  1. I live in University Park on the Braden River and was sitting on my dock sometime after midnight last night when we saw five pulsating lights orange/yellow in color fly across the north sky from east to west and fade out into the night sky one at a time in the same place. Did anyone else see these? I took video of them on my phone.
