7 Red/Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over Sacramento California

Greetings, my name is (name removed) and I wanted to report a sighting very unique.

Around January 1, 2013 at 12:12 a.m. (New Years). I looked out into the night sky and notice 3 reddish-orange lights in the sky. I quickly get some of the people we had from our party to look at it and receive 9 more witnesses.

They not only saw three of these dots, but by that time saw 7 total. This sighting was near the intersection of Watt and La Riviera while looking North.

There were smaller dots fading away before the final big dot, and then that one faded. We tried to get as much photography, but our phones were not able to get documentation.

I figure I report this to someone, and your website and email was the one the stuck out.
