Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were sitting in chairs behind my sisters house when I noticed something in the sky. It looked like a bright orange ball with a flash of something behind it.
As it traveled toward us the flash disappeared, but the bright orange color stayed with it. It went by and seemed to get higher as it went across the sky.
The bright orange ball disappeared about a half a mile away.

December 22, 2011. Kennard, Indiana. Just witnessed the same thing. Bright orange ball of light in front of us while driving. We had a small patch of trees break our line of sight for nearly 3 seconds and it was gone. A months ago in August we watched one move away from us then look like it dropped about 500ft almost to touch the ground then flew away from us faster. We jumped in the car only to find that the one we were watching disappeared and then there were 5 various lights in the sky ranging in colors from bright orange to dark red. So weird we called the police....not that they will do anything but just so there is documentation. My email is hah242007@hotmail.com please feel free to email me if you have seen anything like this.
