Time: Evening.
Driving up interstate 280 north toward San Francisco and for a 30 minute stretch from Cupertino almost to Daly City were dozens of lights obviously not meteors or fireballs. Moving east, west, north, and south all over the sky.
There were strobing, flying in various formations, hovering at times, changing altitudes and course. I finally managed to stop at a rest stop. I met a couple there who had driven the same stretch and not noticed anything until I pointed it out to them.
I'm mystified how the thousands on that freeway could not have noticed or been so oblivious to what was so apparent if you just looked.
Sadly I-Phone video is awful at night and all you're going to seems a faint strobing light moving in and out of the tree line.
All other videos and pictures I took were worse, but this was the tail end of the activity at certain points I had views of more than 10 at a time, not all the same, saw different types.
