Brian, my wife and I were driving through Yonkers, NY towards Bronxville, NY. We are located in the suburbs north of New York City. We noticed a orange light in the sky above us.
It looked to be traveling west. We both noticed that it appeared to be swaying back and forth a bit as it moved. At first we thought it might be a hot air balloon, but it seemed to high up.
Also this was around 9:30 p.m., a bit late and dangerous for one to be flying. As I drove my wife tried to keep an eye on it through the windshield of my car. She was able to track it moving for a few more minutes but then it seemed to disappear.
She thought it might have drifted farther away or into a cloud where we could no longer see it.
After it couldn’t be seen anymore we thought no more of it until I got to work this morning and started to look online to see if anyone had seen anything similar.
I stumbled upon your website while searching and thought that there might be a correlation between the two. If there is I would be curious to see what your thoughts are.
