Three Red Orange Lights Appearing And Disappearing Over Aliso Viejo California

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

 

Around 10:30 PM, July 4, 2011 my wife and I saw 3 light above Aliso Viejo, CA. Classic sighting. Three red orange lights, appearing, then disappearing, merging into two, then one, then splitting again, then that one flashed a few colors and disappeared.

 

I keep hearing about these Chinese lanterns. Maybe it was that, but they seemed to move in different directions intentionally. More of a controlled fashion. It was much like the video attached.

I'm curious if anyone else reported a sighting here.

Loiusville, Illinois Lights Appearing And Disappearing - Strange Event

Date: Maybe two years ago (Approx: 2006)
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Above a field by the road on Starling Dr. Clay Co. Louisville, Ill.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1 set of 3 lights.
Shape of objects: Kind of like in the shape of a triangle.

Full Description of event/sighting: Just before I got home my daughter and I saw these 3 lights in the sky, she saw 4, but a mainly saw 3 not high like stars and they was a lot bigger like street lights. I stopped the car and the lights then went out, but came back on in seconds, then I got out of the car. To maybe get a better look and they went out again. This time they came back on then disappeared for good. Later I told a police officer in Flora Il. about it to see if anyone else might have reported anything that night, but he said no. Then he said he had seen something like that not far from there one time while he was fishing. But thought it was something to do with the airforce or government. It was very different, but the lights didn't look over a100 feet in the sky above the ground.

Rustburg, Virginia Balls Of Light Appearing To Land In The Fields

Location of Sighting: Route 24 towards Concord.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Ball of light.

Full Description of event/sighting: Over the last 3 weeks, I have seen some amazing events happen right behind my house in front of and in back of the mountain along Route 24. Afraid someone would think I have completely lost my mind, I have only told my boyfriend. At first, I saw balls of light that appeared to be falling stars with red tails behind it, but appearing to landing in the fields or mountains behind my house (2 sightings). At first, I thought it was odd for me to observe 2 falling stars so close together appearing to land in my own backyard. The other night, about a week ago, on a foggy rainy night, my daughter and I witnessed a bright light shining like a big spot light up into the sky from behind the mountain right behind my house. I kept an eye on it until it slowly faded away. All activity had occurred between 9 pm and 10 pm.

Last night, I witnessed a great big ball of white light with a white tail fall out of the sky and disappear behind the mountain. It was so huge I was expecting a crashing noise, but instead a few minutes later, I witnessed a craft with white light, not blinking, flying away towards Concord. This may have been a plane in the far distance and not a UFO, however, it was weird that I would witness that after seeing the "falling star".

I am not sure what is going on, but what I am sure of is that something is going on and by definition, I am seeing unidentified flying objects that I don't think could be falling stars. I don't think falling stars are "choosing" to fall right in front of my eyes to appear actually landing all in the same area. All activity to date has occurred between 9 pm and 10:30 pm.
