Bright Round Object Makes Unusual Maneuver Over The Mountains Southwest Of Boulder Colorado

Full Description of Event/Sighting:  I had my first sighting, this is about the second consecutive sighting. I was in bed and got up for water, looked out the window and saw at the same location and altitude as the night before, the same bright round object hanging over the Flatirons SW of Boulder.

 

There was no movement. As in the first sighting, I grabbed binoculars and it looked exactly as the night before (3/31). After about a minute it dimmed suddenly, dropped straight down toward the mountain top, and then reversed direction and went up at a 30 degree angle until it disappeared.

 

The movement was fast, straight lines, and took maybe a second at the most. Tonight I am going to try to see it and tape it. We have cloudy weather, but I hope to be able to see it again.

 

The object looked the same in both sightings, very bright, round, larger than a star and no motion except for this sighting.

Bright Object/Light Collapses Into Itself And Disappears Over Southwest Of Boulder Colorado

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I turned off the living room lights on my way to go to bed, when I noticed a very bright round object directly to the west of me, hanging over the Flatirons near SW Boulder, CO.

 

The light was very low over the mountain, but not moving. I looked at it through binoculars and could see nothing more than a bright white light. About 3 minutes later, it pulsed slightly and turned a soft blue a round ball, then it seemed to just collapse into itself until nothing was there.

 

This is the first sighting of two, I saw it the next night, which I will document in another report.

Large Bright White Round Lights Over South Boulder Colorado

Time: 11:45 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was with my friend outside of his house in South Boulder, Colorado and I was looking up at the sky. The moon was half full and it was a fairly bright night out. All of the sudden I see this bright round white light. I commented on how low it was the lowest flying satellite (sp?) I had ever seen when the second light appeared behind it. There were 2 bright white round non, blinking lights traveling from west to east towards Denver in the southern sky.

They were both traveling at the same speed and never changed distance from each other. It seemed to me like the one in front was wiggling a little and the one in back following perfectly behind. There was no noise and we watched for a good one to three minutes at least. My friend said he had seen both lights approach from the western horizon. As they flew across to the east, the first one dimmed out and disappeared and about 5 seconds later the second one dimmed out and disappeared as well.

My boyfriend and I saw these exact same lights on the same exact date because we started dating just a few weeks earlier. I live on Long Island New York. We just parked in my driveway, both looking up and saw the exact same situation, only they came from the northwest and were traveling on a southeastern track. Not sure, but I am guessing the time 11:45 pm eastern standard time. Just wanted to share and thanks. Please email me if you want any further information. I could be off on the time it may have been a little later.

It was on the same date August 20, 2009 as the sighting in Colorado. I copied and pasted that, I am not sure if you got the rest of the email, but I was in New York.
