Around 12 Red Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Channahon Illinois

Time:  Approx: 7:15 p.m.

 

I saw it too! I was driving down Ridge Rd. coming back from family video and saw the lights. There were about 12 of them. I drove home as quick as I could to get my girl friend.

 

We jumped in the car and drove to a spot where we could see without trees blocking our view. She saw them and then they just vanished.

 

They were moving from west to east.

Green Object With Orange Outline Over Hunters Crossing Channahon Illinois

Time:  Between 11:00 p.m. and midnight.

 

Hi, We live in Hunters Crossing, just east of the HS. My 13 year old son was home, watching his little brothers. He swears he saw a green light with an orange outline.

 

The younger kids saw it too and described it as a yellowish ball with orange outline.

 

They all concur that the light had very suddenly and swiftly darted away. Happened today, 1/21 between 11:00 p.m. and midnight approximately. Creepy!

I seen the same thing on January 14, 2012 about 7:15 p.m. in the Channahon, Illinois area on Route 6 passing the Minooka high school. I came back through the area about 20 minutes later to take pictures and they were gone. It totally freaked me out.

2 Orange Lights Seen Over Channahon Illinois

Time:  9:30 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Like a ball of fire.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I were outside when he told me to look up, and there was an orange light coming straight at us across the sky moving fast.

 

As it passed over head, it flickered like a fire ball and as we watched it literally just disappeared. 10 minutes later a second one appeared, he ran for binoculars and it made a 120 degree turn and disappeared in the night sky.

 

Once it turned you did not see the light anymore. You could clearly see it turn.

Ball Of Fire Sighting Over Channahon Illinois

Date: July 17, 2010

Time: Between 10:05 and 10:10 p.m.

I saw the same thing. I live in Channahon IL. There was four of us outside and saw it. It moved in the same direction. It was very bright at first and then it dimmed and seemed to just slowly disappear. It didn't have a very straight pattern as it went across the sky.

As it faded, it had a slight zig zag pattern. No idea what it could have been. I haven't found anyone else yet in the neighbor hood who has seen it yet. Buzz light year maybe. (It was July 17 and it was in-between 10:05 and 10:10 pm. It lasted about 3 min before it faded away).
