Full Description of event/sighting: To whom it may concern, I have had three UFO sightings in my life, all of them being daylight sightings. One when I was around eight years old, another when I was around 35 years old, but the one that I will describe is by far the very best. At the age of 26, I am now 50 years old.

It's been a long time since I made this sighting, but have visited the site approximately every other year to keep it fresh in my memory. The sighting occurred in the summer (July?) of 1982, in Dayton, Ohio within an approximate radius of four miles from Wright Patterson AFB.

I had just pulled up to a local watering hole after work (Filthy McNasty's was the name of the establishment, believe it or not) with my best friend who I worked/carpooled with. I am a tool design engineer and he is a tool and die maker. From our work experience, we both are very well trained in regards to knowing the size of things big and small.

Filthy’s is located approximately 300 yards from the great Miami River and about 100 yards from Rip Rap Road which parallels the river and lies between itself and the river. It basically sits in the middle of an abandoned field, surrounded by flat farm fields and woods.

The time was approximately 6:00 p.m., the weather was good, with a clear blue sky, with little or no wind. A typical, hot, humid, stagnant, miserable summer day in Ohio. (Can you tell how much I like the weather in Ohio)?

As I was saying, we had just pulled up in the parking lot with the car facing west. We got out and started walking north for about 100 feet to the entrance, when something (a movement/reflection?) to our left (south) caught both of out eyes at the same time.

At a distance of 100 yards (I have measured this) and at approximate height of 200 feet (we had trees in the foreground very close to the road that I have measured the height of, by comparing the objects height to the height of the trees which I feel confident of the height estimate) was a dull gray metallic round object. It almost looked like something out of a 1950's bad Sci-Fi movie.

Two pie pans stacked facing each other with a streamlined "dome" on the top side only. The object was directly over the road and following it's course north at a speed of approximately 35 miles an hour. I have also measured this with myself standing in the exact spot and my friend driving the car on the road (and vice versa) at various speeds. We both picked the speed of 35 MPH.

The object was approximately 35 to 40 feet in diameter, I was a draftsman at the time, and had several size/angles of ellipse templates at work. So the following morning we stood at a distance of three feet from a wall which I had taped all of these templates to.

With the object of this being to pick out what we thought the object looked like. Not only the size, but the projected angle (share/profile). We both did this by ourselves, without knowing what size or shape the other had picked.

To my surprise we both picked the same shape, and more to my surprise, we were within approximately 10% of picking the same size. By using a little trigonometry and knowing a few measurements I calculated the size. So unless I am fundamentally wrong with how I did my calculations, I am very confident of the size that I estimate.

We also parked a Ford F-100 pickup out on the road and both of us stood in the "spot" and compared the size of the truck on the ground with the size of the object in the air. We both agreed that the object looked between two and three times the length of the truck, and so knowing the length of the truck, it fit really well with my calculations.

After we first spotted the object, it continued going north, at the same speed, following the path of the road. There were no erratic moments, no change in altitude, or any increase/decrease in speed. We both watched it for approximately 3 to 4 minutes until it was lost to sight in the haze a little above the horizon. After the object was lost to sight we went inside and discussed what we saw over a few cold beers.

What strikes me as odd, is that we didn't talk that much about it that night or after that. Maybe we were/are still dumbfounded by what we saw. This is not an exaggeration, if I saw a pickup truck at that height and distance, I wouldn't be able to tell you it's license plate number, but I damn sure could tell you what color, make and model it was.

There is one other thing that we both thought was very strange. There is a beach volleyball court in front of Filthy's and know more than 75 yards from the road. I would guess that there were between 15 and 20 people playing at the time. The net runs north and south, so half the people were facing east and the other half were facing west, and would have had an even closer view of the object than we did. I can see the half facing east missing it all together, but Ill be damned if I can figure out why no one player facing west spotted it.

We were both watching them for some reaction but there was not so much as a word said. We both were so dumbstruck that we just stood there with our jaws hanging on the ground and didn't raise the alarm to anyone. In fact we didn't say anything at all to each other the whole time except at the very beginning when I said, "What the hell is that !

To the best of my knowledge, all info contained in this statement is accurate and true. I know a fair amount about UFOs and the quality of the sighting/people.

So I have to tell you, this was a sweet one. No mysterious lights at night, and some moron wearing an Indian headdress claiming that he was whisked away to Venus (Maybe you've seen the film clips of this guy).

You have a multiple witness sighting, well trained, credible professionals.

You have a distance of no more than 125 yards away, with perfect viewing conditions.

I wouldn't have even reported this, except for the fact that it's been nagging at me for almost 25 years now. Maybe it will help me get rid of some of the nag. Plus, I like reading about sightings, so maybe someone will find this interesting and enjoyable. Thanks for listening.

Up Close Bright Light/UFO Appeared To Look Like A Snake Over Compton California (Picture)

Bright Objects Pass Close Enough For Witnesses To Hear Sound Over Red Oak Texas

Me and my daughter saw the exact same thing tonight in the sky southeast of where I live in Red Oak, Texas which is a small town south of Dallas.

It was around 8:00 pm central time. It was very weird, I have never seen anything like it.

We were close enough to hear some of the objects as they passed by which sounded kind of like an airplane engine.

Black Craft Came Close To Flight From Houston to Denver (Scary)

Time:  Daytime.

 

I saw the same air craft during my flight from Houston to Denver on May 5th 2008. At first it looked like a black line in the sky off in the distance. As it got closer I could see that it wasn’t as long as it I first thought, because it was clear that it was an air craft with a thick black trail of smoke.

 

It was flying the same speed and direction as us and came very close to us. The scary part is it turned towards us and was traveling the same speed latterly. I could clearly see that it was close to the same length as our jet, and it was black with a flat bottom and no wings.

 

The nose of the craft was square with rounded corners like a duck's bill. It slowly passed behind us and out of sight. It was the single most terrifying thing I have seen in my life, and I would be happy if I never saw it again.

Two Cylindrical UFO Close On One Another Over Texas/Oklahoma Border In Northeast Texas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from Church on Easter Sunday night April 24th, 2011 on a desolate Farm to Market Road in Texas to Oklahoma where I reside. There is never hardly any traffic day or night on this Farm to Market Road.

The night was exceptionally clear and the stars were shining bright when I noticed this very bright star or at least that is what I perceived in the east, as I was driving east, but it suddenly dawned on me, that it was moving.

I eventually pulled my vehicle off to the side of the road, so get a better look, well this object came to a standstill and I could see it had red, green, yellow and white lights on it and it showed to be cylindrical in shape.

I just happened to glance to my left which faced north and I saw another object coming towards the other object that was at a standstill and it pulled up close to the other object and it had the same color lights on top and it showed that it was cylindrical in shape as well and it came to a standstill also. I could tell there was a space between the two objects.

I looked at my watch and it was 10:15 p.m. 5 minutes, after the second object stopped by the other one, I saw a bright red light proceed to the original object and it looked like how someone would roll out a "Red Carpet" as it was very wide. In my mind I thought this could be a laser of some kind.

Once this "Red Carpet" scenario took place within another 5 minutes as I looked at my watch again as it was 10:20 p.m., I saw what looked liked "black dots" or images moving on this "Red Carpet" toward the first object and this proceeded for 10 minutes and then the "black dots" or whatever stopped and I noticed my watch again and it was 10:30 p.m.

At 10:35 p.m. this "Red Carpet" whatever started to retract back toward the second object. At 10:45 p.m., the first object, started to move sideways and then lifted up and turned south and sped away at a high rate of speed and simply vanished. I definitely saw that it was cylindrical then for sure.

At 10:50 p.m. the second object turned sideways and lifted up and shot at a high rate of speed back to the north whence it had come from and it vanished and I definitely could tell it was cylindrical also. I am a stickler for keeping up with time.

Whatever I saw that Easter Sunday night of April 24th, 2011 was very strange indeed as I do not know if this second object was making a transfer of some sort to the first object or what it was doing.

I have not told anyone about this incident, as I did not want to be classified as a "nutcase" but I felt like I needed to share with you about this strange observation and whether you publish this or not, does not matter to me as I am not out for publicity and I do not drink or do drugs of any kind.

I have however thought of this incident many times since and I have wondered what these two cylindrical objects were up too and how they left at a high rate of speed and simply vanished.

Close Encounter With Domed UFO Over Santa Clarita Valley California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Subject: Very close view of UFO

My wife and I had a very close up experience while living in Santa Clarita Valley. This occurred in 1978 but the memory lives in our minds as it were last night. We feel highly appreciative for the experience and are not afraid to openly discuss it without any intentions of financial gain. You may publish this account and we would be most willing to discuss it in public.

It was the summer of 1978. Santa Clarita Valley is located north of the San Fernando Valley and north of Los Angeles. Santa Clarita was a small and laid-back community mostly referred to as Valencia. We recently relocated back from a two-year international management assignment followed by a two-year management assignment in Arizona. We then were transferred to California and chose Santa Clarita because of the open spacious country living, low crime statistics, no smog, and nice neighborhoods. I purchased a two-story corner house with a swimming pool.

One Friday evening, I was using a long pole with an attached brush designed to sweep the walls of the pool. Our children would probably swim early the following morning and I wanted the pool to be clean.

As I reached upwards on the pole to push downwards I saw a craft approaching. The craft was at a distance equivalent one or two short blocks away and not flying parallel to streets but at an angle on a southeastern direction. It was immediately obvious to me that the craft was not a helicopter nor airplane since these would not normally fly that low and the physical characteristics did not match these. At that distance the craft seemed wider, luminous with lights in circumference to the frontal section (referred to as leading edge). I stared at it for a brief perplexed moment.

After realizing that it was something out of the ordinary, I ran down the steps from the poolside deck platform where I had been standing. The platform was about four to five feet higher than the pool water and the opposite surrounding pool deck area. It was about 15 fast running steps from there to the backyard entry to the family room. My wife and two children were watching television there.

I yelled for them to come outside and see but only my wife Gloria came out. We both walked fast towards the side of the pool opposite the platform side where I had been standing. By that time the craft was right over our pool area at an altitude of no more than 50-75 feet and perhaps even less.

The craft had come to a stop in proximity to our pool area as we stood bellow it. The craft made no sound whatsoever. It wobbled slightly as it were moved by the wind but there was no noticeable wind at that moment. The craft leaned forward and downwards and then we saw a large forward angled window, located bellow the leading edge that was perhaps 8 feet in length and 3-4 feet in height. We could see an orange bluish glow from inside but no occupants or controls.

As the craft leaned forward I could see light emanating from its upper section and not from the pool lights reflection since the pool lights would be unable to reflect on the upper section. The craft seemed to be manufactured as one solid piece. There were no visible seams or rivets. The bottom of the craft was concave towards the center. In the deepest section of the concave center two rectangular objects were visible and ran the length of the deep concaved section and seemed to be a few feet apart from each other.

The craft had an upper dome with porthole like windows but no internal visibility. The upper dome was round and centered in relation to the lower part of the craft with no visible seams. The total height of the craft appeared to be the equivalent of a one and half story typical track residence or less. I calculated the height by comparing it to our two-story house. The diameter was approximately 50-75 feet or less. There were no visible markings, insignias or identification on the craft.

Under the front leading edge of the circular craft was some ski like devices with two side-by-side configurations. The design I cannot replicate even though I always scored high in I.Q, tests where design progressions (similar to mathematical progressions) had to be decided from multiple drawing choices. I also remember thinking they were too far forward from the crafts center of gravity something we studied in Group Propulsion in relation to the length and loading of aircraft. The ski like devices were similar to the letter S with the top of the S facing forward but with more elaborate details filling the gaps. At the time my conclusion was they were some type of hanging or anchoring device.

During the entire experience lasting some 45 seconds or a bit longer, my wife kept repeating “Oh my God!” over and over again. I tried to concentrate on details and in my mind kept repeating “take me with you.” We were both frozen in awe and disbelief. It was like seeing a large bus that I previously described as a Greyhound bus floating over your house. Both of us look upwards and did not speak to each other during the sighting.

There was no fear, an unprompted paralysis, and a high respect to what we were seeing. We both had the sensation of being watched primarily because the craft maneuvered downwards at an angle towards us and then regained a level position parallel to the ground. As a part of my analysis during the experience I listened for other engines, other crafts, the possibility that this craft was being suspended from another craft as a hoax but concluded there were no other man-made craft in the vicinity.

The craft then began to move at a very slow speed of around 20 miles per hour. I jumped on a wall that surrounded our backyard so that I could see the trajectory. I saw between houses as it continued at that speed for at least 7 miles from our house and heading in a southeast direction from Santa Clarita over a mountainous section of eastward Los Angeles County. I instructed my wife not to discuss it but to try to draw what she saw and then we would compare drawings. My drawings had more details. Then we began comparing the experience and both had seen the very same details.

My conclusion is that the craft wanted us to observe it or perhaps was examining us. I am 100% sure this was not a man-made craft or technology. I am also convinced by the event that U.S. Government intelligence agencies know we are being visited by extra-terrestrials and are hiding facts. To me the only rationale reasons is because they lied once about their existence (perhaps Roswell and others) and the complex structured secretive system is not able to reverse course or that disclosure may cause the loss of statutory governmental powers as citizens realize that borders, religions and global federal governments are meaningless and helpless. My conclusion leads me to think that visitors do not wish to work with a single government as they are roaming global skies making their presence known.

There were lingering questions in my mind after the sighting. Since the craft must originate from an advanced civilization why do they need windows? My technical assumption is that an advanced civilization would have cameras on the exterior able to duplicate exactly what is visible outside of the craft. Why were we allowed to see the interior through the large window but not the occupants?

After reporting the experience to the local Sheriff said they had no reports. Years later after writing the experience on the Internet someone who claimed he was with NASA automated airport sciences called me and said that his call was unofficial.

The only somewhat related experience was during a father daughter overnight camping event. The event was prior to our sighting experience. Several of my neighbors were FBI agents. During the outing two of the agents who had daughters were standing close to each other looking at the visible stars. One of them whispered to the other that he heard that strange crafts were often visible in the area. I was standing a few feet away from them and could hear them.

During my earlier education, I graduated and was certified in Group Propulsion Systems and had a choice to either continue studies as a Flight Engineer or Aeronautical Engineering. I selected Aeronautical Engineering and attended Northrop Institute of Technology. In Group Propulsion Systems we became highly familiar with aircraft, mechanical and electrical systems and all flight disciplines, flight and design configurations and propulsion sciences. I am still more familiar with aircraft functions than an automobile. After two years of study I switched to business management at another university, was an early participant in IT as a systems analyst followed by executive positions in the computer and software industry eventually forming my own international management consulting and international business services integration organization. I am now an active portfolio investor and international business, but retired.

Close Encounter Of A Large Orange Red Glowing Light At Jupiter Florida

Date: Between 2001 and 2002

Hello Brian, this reply is in regards to the orange light balls you have seen. My name is (name removed) and I have encountered theses orbs 3 times and below I will tell you of the one the most similar to your own.

In between 2001 and 2002 I saw a red-orange sphere fly silently over me in the woods in Jupiter Florida.

After work sometimes when we got paid some of us who worked construction would go down to one of a small number of spots in the woods to drink beer and talk together before going home. One night around 10:00pm while we were all just hanging out I got up and excused myself to go take a pee.

Well I walked around the corner perhaps 100 or so feet, relieved myself in a large open grassy area spread out in the open. Afterwards I thought it would be nice to lay down in the middle of this large open grassy field and just look at the clear open sky after a hard day of construction.

Not long after I had laid down, perhaps 5 or so minutes, when this large orange red globe of glowing light comes out from over the top of the trees to the left of me flying east to west . This red-orange glowing ball made not a sound and flew no faster then 5 to 8 MPH! This thing went from the top of the far left set of trees to the right side set of trees before I lost sight of it.

I got up and went back to my group expecting my work mates to be talking all about what had just happened but they were carrying on like before with no notice of what I had just experienced . I just stood their unbelieving that these folks who were only a few 100 of feet away from me had not seen anything.

To this day I never mentioned what took place that night to any of the guys and the only thing I can think of was that this big glowing ball was flying so close to the tops of the trees for anyone but me to see. Another possibility I know to exist is they can disappear and then reappear when they want. I had a 3 to 5 foot white ball of solid light to this to me in Jupiter Farms around 4:00am one morning.

The smaller orb was flying all about my roof over my office and bedroom area when I pulled up from the end of a nights work. I got out of my van and saw it soaring in silence as free as a bird until it seemed to spot me. It then took off over the tree tops that then surrounded the entire property. I remained standing in the same place looking at where this ball of white light had just flew over, it then came back over the same place it had left.

Standing there by myself this thing now comes right at me then flies down over my head no further then 15 feet! As it passed me it slowly began to disappear until I could no longer see it . This occurred around one year after I saw the red-orange fire ball.

Sonora, California UFO Caught On Film Close To Jet Airliner (Video Footage)

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have watched this video footage which is extremely clear to watch. I personally am amazed at what I am looking at on this tape. This object moves so fast, yet can stop of a dime and again from a dead stop move again at an incredible rate of speed. It is like it never stopped moving. I would suggest this footage is a must see.

1. - UFO & Jet Airliner - I received an email from my friend who told me in his letter that he caught an amazing unknown object on film and he wanted to send me a copy of the footage he took. Of course I said I would love to see the tape, so he parceled it up and sent it along. I received the video tape in the postal mail on Saturday, May 29, 2004. I brought it home and popped the tape into my VCR, sat back to see what the gentleman had captured on May 15, at 4:46 p.m. As the tape started to play I saw a passenger Jet Airliner traveling across the sky leaving it's contrail following behind.

All of a sudden from high above I was able to clearly see a white or a shiny object. The object started to move downwards at an incredible rate of speed and when it reached just above the Jets contrail it came to a brief and complete stop. The object then either passed through the Jets contrail or on the opposite side away from the cameraman still continuing it's journey downward. The object again stops on a dime, keeping in mind that when this object moves it is traveling extremely fast. After this brief stop the object moves towards the back of the Jet, moving diagonally on it's flight path and once again at a distance from the jet it stops briefly and then starts it's flight back up through the contrail and traveling to a great altitude.

2. - Disc Shaped Craft - Taped for 7-10 minutes. The same witness captured what appears to be the same object on May 17, 2004 at 4:27 p.m. and ends up filming the object for approx; 7 to 10 minutes.

3. - Strange Aircraft All Lit Up. - On May 18, 2004 at 10:54 p.m. the same witness captured on video what appears to be an aircraft of some kind. Not a UFO, but a normal aircraft. What is rather strange about it is the number of lights that is on the plane. There are lights all over the plane.

Norton, Massachusetts Close Encounters With UFOs

Full Description of event/sighting: Last summer I was sitting in my car at my friend's house. I was in her driveway, waiting for her to get her stuff together because we were going to leave to get iced coffee's. As we always do on our weekly Friday night hangouts. I was sitting there and she was looking down-going through her wallet or something. I happened to look forward and almost directly in front of me-maybe 35 feet above the ground, I see a small V shaped craft coming out of the trees in her yard above and alley to the side of her little two bedroom house. I couldn't even believe what I was looking at, it was so unbelievable and it made absolutely no noise whatsoever. I could see it completely. It was a July night at dusk. It looked to be roughly the size of a mid size car, small truck. It was gunmetal grey with a slight sheen to it. It had 5 lights on it altogether. Two on each wing and one at the tip. The lights didn't appear to be on. They looked like a dull, muted yellow color.

They reminded me of the canlights that I have in my kitchen. They were all the same size and shape in diameter. It ever so slowly came out of the trees hovering for a few seconds and slowly, slowly drifted off over the other houses on her street and onto another town. I would assume. Now, when this all went down, she wasn't paying attention at all. When it had passed in front of me, this is when I smacked her arm to look, because I couldn't take my eyes off what I was looking at. I just sat there in awe because it was like looking at a special effect in a sci-fi movie. So insane, I still can't wrap my brain around it. So she did see it, but it was the tail end of it. At the time I remember just staring at the sky where I had just seen it pass.

Then I realized a heard sniffling next to me. It's my friend, quietly sobbing to herself. I asked her what was wrong and she said absolutely nothing to me and I left it at that. I have no idea why. It was as if it was just too much for our brains to handle, that we behaved as if it were a dream and not real. Well, for whatever reason I started thinking about it. It was another Friday night about 6 weeks later when I got over there, we were sitting in her driveway again and I brought it up. She was clearly uncomfortable talking about it. I asked her what her problem was and she was defensive about it. I said to her that we're not going to pretend like we didn't see that and I didn't know why we hadn't talked about it before. She went on to say that she thought it had to be a military aircraft. I looked at her like she was talking ragtime (as my late Dad would have said) because I knew what I had seen.

When we actually talked about it, she was just plain scared and didn't want to think it was something other worldly because that's just too weird to be able to accept. It was really my sighting is what I eventually came up with. Because it wasn't a clear enough sighting for her to be absolutely convinced of anything, so she had convinced herself that it 'could be' of military origin. I had an ex-boyfriend that was in the military. I know where our bases are in this area. I've been to the air shows with the Stealth bombers, etc. and also my Dad worked for Delta Airlines for 36 years, so I do know a thing or two about things that fly in the sky. In my opinion, we have nothing to compare to the capabilities of this ship. It is so crazy to me when I think about it, what I saw with my own two eyes. Also, what in the world would an undercover military test be unfolding in a suburban neighborhood above a bunch of cottages around a lake? What would be the purpose to that? Why not over a huge abandoned field, or body of water? Why would they choose to test their top-secret ships above people's homes in a small little neighborhood? It just didn't make any sense. That's why I know it's a bunch of crap.

Not only that, I've seen things in the sky my whole life. I've been an avid stargazer my whole life. I've seen unidentified flying something's, tons of times in my lifetime. I'm about to turn 39 in a couple of months, so I'm not new to this planet. I've always noticed strange things in the sky, but there's been an increase in the number of weird sightings for me in the past few years for some reason. A few summers ago I watched what appeared to be a flat electric green diamond with an electric white rod running through the center of it, with electric red tips at the end of the rod. I watched it and watched it and it actually morphed into what appeared to be an electric green 3-D pyramid. It lost the other two colors and just hung there in the sky, so weird. I've believed in these things from a very young age because I remember my Dad telling me a story of when he was 13 years old, he had been camping in a wooded conservation area in his hometown with two friends. They looked up into the night sky and saw 7 bright aqua blue lights darting back and forth around each other at unnaturally high rates of speed. They were freaked out, big-time. Others reported seeing things that night too. But it was 1951 at the time, so people weren't exactly comfortable talking about those things, even less than today I'm sure. Because of that story, I always had an open mind to that sort of thing, because I know my Dad wasn't a liar. When I was 20,or so I had a friend from the same town as my Dad tell me that she had seen a craft over the same conservation area a few years before, when she had been in a car with a friend and her boyfriend.

She said it actually looked kind of cheesy like from a 50's sci-fi movie. She said it was a saucer shaped disc with two antenna's at the top. She said it hung there over the trees for an hour or so. They never discussed it, ever. A few years ago I was on my way to a couple's house that I'm friend's with that happen to live on a street that's directly attached to this conservation area also. I'm approaching their street and I notice that there are several people pulled off to the side of the road, some actually out of their cars and looking and pointing up to the sky. So I look up,and behind the clouds are bursts of color, purple, blue, yellow and pink lighting up the clouds. It was insane. I drove to their house and told them and they looked at me like I was a crazy person. I just remembered this too, this past summer I happened to notice something that looked quite strange in a field to my left as I was driving up a main road. It was a perfectly burned circle in a huge field. I thought that looked very odd.

Kept thinking about it for a few days and ended up just grabbing my camera and walking down into the field and stepping into it. I took pictures of it from every angle that I could. Nothing was growing inside of it. All the flowers and plant life were growing on the outside perimeter of it. It didn't have any fancy markings in it or anything. It was just a perfectly burnt patch of land. Now that it's winter, I've driven by it again and again, same deal, never grew in. It is still dark and dead area, and finally, my last tale which is actually quite unnerving for me just telling the story. I wasn't there for it, but the visual was creepy enough to make me feel like I had seen it for myself, here goes. My friend, the one in the driveway, she had been coming home from her friend's house at around 2:30am. It's a rural road in our hometown. There wasn't a soul on the road at the time. She said she was listening to the radio and Bob Seger's 'Night Moves' was on, when she noticed something out of the corner of her left eye and looked up. She said she saw a V shaped craft that she was trying to convince herself was a plane, but the way it was approaching was strangely disturbing in the way that it came in very, very low and silently. It was at night, so obviously not able to see the color of the craft, but she said it looked black and it had 6 lights on it, 3 on each wing.

She said that it looked like it was standing on end at first. Then slowly came to lay more flat, with the lights down. She said she stopped in the road to watch it, she was in such shock, that she just had to see what it was. She said it was as if it were observing her and making sure to show her that what she was seeing was the real deal. She said it hovered, lowered itself, turned a little, dropped again, turned a little in the opposite direction. She said it looked as if it were trying to position itself to land in-between the pine trees in this random person's side yard. She just sat there in disbelief. Then she saw car lights coming up behind her, so she took off. She said she wanted to turn around to see if it had landed, but was too freaked out by that time and flew home, ran upstairs and woke her sleeping husband up to tell him the story. He's more open to these things because his parents had woken him and his siblings up when they were small children to show them a UFO that was outside their house.

This was in the 60's. I was thrilled that she had her own sighting because it made it that much more real to her and me. I live in Massachusetts. I don't know if it's because I live in the sticks or what, but it seems like every time I hear a story from someone around here, they've seen something in the country or a neighborhood. No huge mass sightings like you hear of on TV or UFO documentaries. Oh, just remembered one other thing, my husband's aunt's husband (hope you follow that) used to be a fireman over a decade ago now. Anyways he lived in a super rural area at the time too. He said that he was at work one night and there had been alot of static on the police/fire radio. Lots of people calling in to report weird objects flying in the sky. He said his shift ended and he stepped outside to walk to his vehicle. He looked up and he could see what appeared to be two ships.

One to his left over one town and one to his right over another town. He couldn't believe it. He said he got in his truck and started driving home. He said that something very strange happened. He said that it was as if the ship's were aware of him being aware of them. He said they started getting closer to each other and to him. He said they basically came together over his vehicle. I don't remember how close together they were or how high they were over him, but he said he was so scared that he didn't know if he was going to be able to make it into his house. He said he did run into the house and woke up his brother that he was living with at the time. He said they hovered over their place for over an hour. He is a completely credible person. I would have no reason to think that he would have made that up please. When I think about all of the true stories I have heard of, or read, seen etc. it's crazy. Clearly there are things going on behind the scenes. Don't know why in the world people aren't just talking about it. That's it. Figured I should probably write this down instead of just keeping it to myself, or sharing it with people that I know and trust not to judge me,or think I need an intervention of some kind. Peru, Indiana UFO Changes Shape Many Times (Close Encounter)

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, I reported our first two sightings to you back in January. Since then we have had several other encounters but this one is the most extreme so I wanted to share it with you. On July 30, 2008, my daughter in law (Jessica) and myself were going to the truck stop on Highway 31 in Peru, IN. As soon as we left the house we saw what appeared to be a plane but brighter above Eel River Road. As we started to turn right onto 600, off of Eel River Road, we noticed the light was not moving. Jessica was driving and I was in the back seat with my grandson. She slowed the vehicle down in order to get a better look at the object that was just above tree-line. The object then came closer to our vehicle (around 700 feet from us). Jessica stopped the vehicle and as she did the object also stopped.

We were very excited and decided to go back home to get my son so that he could video tape it. As we turned the vehicle around and started back on Eel River Rd., the object changed from a bright light to a triangular shaped object with two moving things attached to the back. These things looked like the part on the back of an oil rig and moved in similar fashion. As we drove toward our home the object moved off with us and stayed just above tree-line but followed us back to our house. As we turned onto our road the object sped up faster than I have ever seen any plane go (there was no noise or other planes around during this) and disappeared behind my neighbor's home. We ran in and told my son and his friend about what we witnessed. They got the video camera and went outside. My grandson was teething and needed Tylenol so Jessica and I got back into the vehicle and once again headed to the truck stop. We decided to go down Eel River Rd and turn towards 31 on Mexico Rd. As we approached 31, we again saw the same object hovering on our left right beside 31. I told Jessica to flash the vehicle lights.

As she did, the object appeared to responded and moved slightly as if to say (oh, there they are!) Neither Jessica or I remember going across the first two lanes of 31 but the next thing we knew we were in the intersection and there were cars coming at us from all directions. We were almost hit in the front and in the back of our vehicle. We turned left on 31 and continued to the truck stop. The object was still hovering in the field beside 31 and as we proceeded in 31 it continued to stay with us. If Jessica slowed the vehicle the object got brighter and also slowed down. During the time it was following beside us, it changed shapes many times. At one point it became an oval shaped object and moved up in the sky a bit and we were able to see under it. Directly in the center, underneath the object, it was very bright and looked like electrical currents or small lighting bolts.

The object stayed with us until we got to the traffic light to turn left at the truck stop. As we stopped at the light, the object slowed down and moved in front of us about 700 or 800 feet away and then another light appeared next to it. When our light turned green and we turned into the truck stop both objects disappeared. During the sighting we were not afraid. We felt as though whatever this thing was, it was trying to communicate with us in some way. We also felt confused and disoriented even on the trip home.
