Bright Orange Lights Spotted Over Deland Florida

Date:  July 19, 2012
Time:  10:00 p.m.

I was looking out towards the north tonight at 10:00 p.m. when I saw two bright orange lights. The top one was stationary and the bottom one was to the left. Then the bottom one went directly under the top one.

About two minutes of watching the bottom one, it was gone, faded away and the top one stayed for another minute or so before it faded away.

I live parallel to 15A pretty close to the Progress Energy plant, has anyone found out what this might be? Thanks.

Witness Observe An Orange Glowing Object Over Glenwood Area Of Deland Florida

Date:  January 1, 2012
Time:  Approx: 12:10 a.m.

We were sitting in our family room around 12:10 a.m., and I was looking outside and noticed something that look like an airplane, but it was not. It looked like an object that was completely illuminated in an orange glow.

It was moving from northwest to southeast at a speed faster than an airplane, and relatively low altitude. The object ceased it’s forward motion and then turned to the east and then died out.

This was very strange. I am in the Glenwood area of Deland.

Two Orange Lights/Objects Seen Over DeLand Florida

Date:  December 29, 2011
Time:  Evening.

My mom saw them last night as she was walking in to a restaurant. Said she has no idea what they were and the reminded her of two hot air balloons, but not. Said the objects were like an orange look to it, but in the center it had a soft glow coming through as a light bulb with a shade on it would have.

She said the only way to describe it was magnificent, something she has never seen before.

Two Bright Orange Objects/Lights Over Deland Florida

Date:  December 29, 2011
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I saw the same thing last night 12/29/11 about 7:30 p.m. in Deland, FL. There were 2 of them side by side, bright orange, moving to the left in the sky. About 50 people stood outside Wal-Mart looking in the sky for about 5 minutes at them.

The first one faded away, and the second one stayed in the sky for about a minute longer before it just faded away and disappeared.
