Ball Of Fiery Orange Light Seen In The Sky Over Henderson Bay Near Gig Harbor Washington

Date:  January 19, 2013
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1 (plus my husband saw it just as it was disappearing and my daughter heard me describe it the entire time I saw it).

Shape of Objects: Roundish/oblong.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a ball of light, almost looked like ball of fire. I thought it was a plane or helicopter coming straight toward my house, not like it was going to crash, but just coming in my direction. It was pale orange.

It was getting bigger, but I couldn't hear sound. I stepped outside because I thought it was odd.

It was visible closer to the tree line. I went back inside to get my husband, but when I got back outside I couldn't see it.

Then I realized it had gone way "up" in the sky and was small and it continued until I couldn't really see it any longer. This entire sighting took place over maybe 90 seconds.

I've never seen anything like this. I'll be 70 this year. I was talking to my daughter on the phone describing what I saw.

I asked her to look on the internet to see if a sighting was reported. She didn't find anything, but found this site. (she made this report because she thought it was weird that I made a big deal about this - in her 50 years neither she nor I have seen anything weird enough to believe it might actually be a UFO. We wanted to find out whether anyone else saw it too and try to find out what it was.)

Bright Object With Green And Red Mixed In Flew Over Gig Harbor Washington (Meteor)

Time:  Approx: 6:30 a.m.

We saw it over here in Gig Harbor, WA. It was at the same time. However, my daughter and I saw it as huge, about the size of an exercise ball for Physical Therapy.

The green looked like gases off of it, with red mixed in. The closest I can think is like a contrail gas, but around the ball. We thought it may have landed in the Puget Sound.

Glad to know that we weren't seeing things.

Large Circular Ball Of Fire In The Sky Over Gig Harbor Washington

Time:  Approx: 11:10 p.m.

Tonight at about 11:10 p.m. near Gig Harbor, WA my husband and I saw a large circle/ball of fire fly over our house at what seemed a pretty close distance. It was moving very quickly!

We continued to watch it fly out over the Puget Sound, it was getting higher and higher and then suddenly the light just went out.

We live on a hill and have a panoramic view over the Puget Sound. I always see airplanes, but I've never seen anything like this! My husband was speechless as well.

Two Large Orange Objects And 6 Military Aircraft Spotted From Gig Harbor Washington

Time:  Evening.

 

I got this e-mail from your web site. I live in Gig Harbor, Washington. On May 7, 2012 my husband was standing outside our apartment down Sound View Drive. He told me he saw a big orange orb across the Puget Sound.

 

It was hovering towards Tacoma where the zoo would be. He told me he also saw a second one. They left after a minute. I stood outside to see if they would come back. I started to not believe him until military air plans started searching the area.

 

There were a total of 6 military type planes that were going back and fourth through that are for 2 hours. I believe what my husband saw. This is the second time he has seen this orb. The first time was when him and my 5 year old saw the big orange orb.

Deep Orange In Color Objects Over Gig Harbor Washington

Time: 12:10 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Gig Harbor Washington.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 13 or 14.
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On New Year's Eve at midnight, I looked out my window to view Henderson Bay (Puget Sound) where there are often displays of fireworks on the 4th of July and New Year's Eve. I checked to see if I could see any such displays. There were none, but an orange light appeared coming from an easterly/westerly direction. Intrigued, I watched it move across the sky and then go in a more upward direction.

Another appeared from the same direction as before followed by another then another spaced almost evenly apart for the first few. I awakened my 14 year old daughter who watched the rest with me. She got her camera to use the zoom for a closer view, but it wasn't strong enough to see much more detail. We watched together as 2 came across the horizon fairly close together and seemed to slow a bit above the bay and then move on as the other had. We continued to watch them until either the 13th or 14th came by. They stopped after that.

The last two were spaced more apart in timing than the rest. All went in the same direction, some went up higher sooner than others and some continued below the cloud line. I had opened the window to hear if there was any sound, but other than the normal pops here and there or fireworks, the sky was silent. No motor sounds, airplanes or helicopters. There were no flashing lights on these objects. Only a deep orange glow.

The next night I watched the sky and viewed airplanes and helicopters just to make sure that I didn't mistake what I saw (however that many in a row would have been odd even if it were planes or helicopters!) and there is no chance that what we saw were planes or helicopters. We have never seen anything like this before. It was eerie, yet amazing!
