Orange Type Of Fireball In The Sky Over Springfield Illinois

Hi, I am writing in response to the multiple sightings of orange/reddish multiple orbs that were sighted from coast to coast last night December 31, 2012..

I am in Springfield, Illinois and was grabbing a camera out of my truck last night at approximately 10:45 p.m.

For some reason looked out to the sky and caught a glimpse of almost orange type fireball like orb. Never seen anything like them before. It hovered and seemed to float, but also increased speeds at times.

Then vanished. I grabbed my wife and she too was able to witness this event. We saw two, too bright for planes, choppers etc. They didn’t possess any beacons, and they were too prominent in their color/ brightness.

This was really crazy for us because temps were 20 degrees or so, and visibility was poor due to snow received. Whatever they were, they tuck out like sore thumbs in an overcast sky for about 2 minutes for us.

After hearing the other accounts. Glad to hear my mind is not playing tricks on me. We actually checked on web before New Years (cst) maybe around 11:00 p.m. or so, but no mentions or sightings as of yet.

Glad we checked back. Maybe were all not crazy after all. Just glad to witness the phenomenon!

Fireball Type Object Shoots Back Upward Over New Mexico

Date: 2010 and September 17, 2011
Time: Evening.

Hi, I was writing to see if there is any explanation to this? The posting on your website " Bright Light Shoots Off Over Carvel Alberta Canada" 2006. My friend and I had witnessed the same exact thing, exactly, except we live in New Mexico and it happened in 2010.

Again September 17, 2011 the same friend and his girlfriend and her son witnessed the exact same sighting. I know this sounds cheesy, but the fireball was the size of my pinky nail held out at arm length, "a very hot and angry looking fireball" like off the movie Men in Black.

It seemed to be coming right at me and at a extremely high velocity and shot up leaving a short trail behind and out of our orbit, extremely fast speeds. This seems to be a reoccurring thing, have you found or heard what this is?

Bright Orange Red Fire Type Object Over Salem Indiana

Shape of Objects: Red-orange glowing round light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My Wife called me to the rear of our house as she was letting out dogs. She noticed the strangely-lit object steadily moving across the sky. It was a lot larger than an airplane light, and did not blink, it was bright, round, and an orangish-red color, without defined edges and almost appeared to be burning or on fire. It had no visible trail or smoke.

It was silent and moved southwest to northeast and eventually disappeared from sight. We viewed the object for approximately 1-2 minutes. There were no clouds in the sky. We have both witnessed thousands airplanes at night and neither of us had seen anything like this before. The whole experience is quite eerie.

Lincoln, Nebraska An Orange Plasma Type UFO

Shape of objects: Orb.

Full Description of event/sighting: My family and I were in the back yard lighting fireworks when one of my oldest sons friends yelled out "Orb!" We all looked up at the same time. The Orb was an orange plasma type of object that flew over us seemed like it was right over the tree tops. It flew from the southeast heading northwest. It changed direction once it passed over our house and headed more north according to my wife. We all had camera phones but no one caught a picture of the object because we were to busy staring with our mouths open. After it was gone I asked everyone there if they seen the same thing. everyone outside had seen it and said they would back me if I ever needed it. I reported this to MUFON only after there was another report that same night from someone in Nebraska City who said they seen an orange colored orb moving towards the Northwest. They reported it at about 9:30pm. After this was over my wife and I and our 11 year old seemed drained of energy for a couple of weeks.

Cape Hatteras, North Carolina 6 Saucer Type Craft Hovering

Full Description of event/sighting: On May 26th, 2008, approx. 5:30 p.m.,traveling down Rt.13 in Cape Hatteras, N.C. here was 6 saucer-type craft hovering silently along the beach. They were "bunched" together so closely, I thought they were some sort of advertising balloon gimmick or something.
By the time I got my camera out of the case and into "movie mode" we were behind the dune. I could not see where the craft were so I simply pointed the camera toward the back window of the vehicle. Traveling at 60 mph, I stopped the recording as a very high dune took up the scene. Surprisingly, something did show up on the camera.
