4 Very Bright Orange Lights Seen From Rochester New York

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

 

My husband and I have seen these lights at least 4-5 times in the last 2 years. We live in Rochester, NY on Lake Ontario, right where the lake goes into the Irondequoit bay. Tonight being one of these times. Around 8:30 p.m. we saw 4 very bright orange lights, close in formation, over the water.

 

Looking through our binoculars they appeared to be floating over the water. These were brighter and closer than the other times. They stayed, hung out, faded in and out and then totally disappeared.

 

There were very dim smaller lights around the larger lights. No sound, very quiet. Let me know if you have any questions!

Two Very Large Bright Reddish Glowing Lights Over Soldotna Alaska

Shape of Objects: 2 very round reddish lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I were inside watching TV. It was a fairly clear night and very dark out. He got up to get a drink of water and looked out the window and saw two very bright, large, reddish glowing lights out the window. We turned out the lights in the house to watch, and for about 5 minutes saw them seemingly sit in the same position.

They appeared fairly close and looked like the headlights of a large truck coming toward us, though they did not appear to move, they stayed the same distance apart and above the ground.

We live out in the country and the lights looked like they were above and a bit before, the only neighbor below us. (Our house is on a hill.)

We went to the upper level of the house to get a better look and they remained in the same spot. We opened the window to listen, but no sound at all.

At this point I raised the binoculars I had managed to find and no sooner did, than the lights just blinked out. Like a light switch being thrown.

There is nothing in that area to produce such a light. They did not act like flares.

New Bern, North Carolina A Very Unusual Day While On The Way to The Movies

Full Description of Event/Sighting: This was an abduction, not a sighting. We never witnessed a ship/object. I was born in 1969, I was roughly 6-7yrs. old when this took place. My younger brother and father were also present. It was a weekend afternoon, father suggested a movie in town to go and see, we lived about 10 minutes outside of town at the time. We all left for theater, at approx: 1:30pm (2:00pm movie), first odd thing I recall is my brother and I both sitting in back seat of car. Normally one of us would sit in front, not this time. No one spoke a word the entire trip into town, also odd for our family. When it came time for dad to pull into theater parking lot, he instead made a left turn into a developing housing area, complete with dirt road and "Road Ends" sign. As we approached the sign stating Road Ends, my dad parked car and remained still but awake. My brother and I got out of car and walked up to the sign.

At this point I looked behind me to see if the car was still there, it was. Dad staring blankly ahead, eyes open. When I turned back around again, I saw outer space. Can only describe it as it was as if a huge knife had cut the Earth in half and when I looked straight ahead I saw nothing but dark space with stars, but behind me, everything was normal. I looked down at my feet, I saw layers of the Earths' crust going down a very long way, the next thing I remember is floating in space. Outer space. No space suit, no breathing device. I could not understand at the time why I could breathe, it confounded me. Last thing I remember was looking over right shoulder to see my brother floating with me and I go blank. He remembers more, like a light, and I do recall a bright white light that was extremely bright, but did not hurt to look at it.

After the light, I have no memory other than all of a sudden being back in car, pulling into home driveway, everyone in car exits and walks into home single file, no words spoken, mom screaming at dad because we had been gone for over 8 hours and she thought we had an accident. We all go upstairs to bed, and from that day on, if that day was mentioned to my father, he would become very agitated, angry and combative. Alot more stuff has happened over the years, but that was the first time it happened as far as I know. I wish that day had never happened, it changed me forever.

Bellevue, Washington A Round Orange Very Large UFO

Dear Brian, My daughter and I were driving into downtown Bellevue to pick up my son from a Halloween party. We lived on Yarrow Point, Bellevue WA USA at the time, when we reached 92nd St and 40th St we saw a round very large UFO above us. It was orange very low and moving slowly, we got out of the car to see it as we could hardly believe our eyes. I had to pick up my son so we left, we arrived back at our house about a half an hour later, the ship was hovering over Kirkland. Our house overlooked Kirkland. (home address removed). Bellevue WA USA. The date was October 1986 about six PM.

I thought it would be in the newspapers the next day, but it wasn't. There was no sound coming from the craft. How is it possible no one saw that ship except my daughter and I. Can the life that visits our planet pick and choose who gets to see them? That ship was very big, it was still day light, and it was close to the ground. Were there any other sightings on that craft that your aware of. I would have reported it, but I didn't know who to talk to.

Griffith Park Los Angeles, California Very Bright Object

Full Description of event/sighting: After my work-out I was walking back to my car I looked up between the trees and I noticed a very bright object that appeared to be moving in a northwesterly direction. It's brightness was about that of Venus at it's brightest. I moved to an area where my view was completely obstructed and continued to watch. It moved rather quickly and slowly began to fade and finally disappear. The whole sighting took about 3 minutes.

Zionsville, Indiana A Very Bright Elongated Shaped UFO

Shape of objects: Unrecognizable due to distance.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: Facing south in car, stopped at stop sign at the 'T' intersection of Pleasant View Rd. and Whitestown Rd.

A very bright elongated shape of light was approximately 30 degrees above the southern horizon at an assumed distance of 1-3 miles away.

The object traveled gently to the left, about the same speed as a commercial jet would travel. The object stopped, and suddenly sped to the right at a speed that was unreal. It stopped and gently hovered again for a few seconds then performed a random pattern of movement that lasted all of 10 seconds. It then moved across the sky again in the opposite direction at an even faster speed than before. At this point the object got slightly larger, which made me assume it had traveled toward us (from my perspective I would assume a half mile closer, but still remaining at an approximate 30 degree angle above horizon). It remained still for less than 10 seconds then flew away from us in a SSW direction, maintaining the same altitude, traveling at a speed that was seriously incredible.

Downtown Columbia, South Carolina A Very Low Bright Flying UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: I have seen a couple of stories that match mine on the site. I went out and caught the bright star then realized it was moving. The light was white, no blinking lights like a plane. It moved at a steady and fairly slow speed across the sky to my north from downtown then I realized it had changed direction and was headed right over my home. It was difficult to tell the height of this thing, I'd originally said no more than 100 feet over some tall pine trees. But when it got closer to my house, and it was within a few blocks, it vanished. I had binoculars out to stargaze and I looked and saw it, moved the binocs back to my eyes, put the binocs back up and voila, gone.

It looked "satellite" until it looked so close to the ground. This thing was bright. No way to miss it. And it too was absolutely silent, noiseless. Also in the western sky over Columbia last night was something I have seen a few other times as well. It too looks like a star, but way away. It is a bright star like object, but it has blinking red and green lights that appear to blink in both colors on both sides or maybe this thing could be "spinning". I don't know. I have seen it in different areas of the sky over the past two years around here. At any rate, it stays right there, put, doesn't move for hours and hours, perhaps all night but is in a different spot the next night or is totally missing from the sky. In Columbia, numerous military air operations do go on. We see all kinds of things in the sky if we look. I've even seen them flying Ospreys here. You can't miss that, the loudest thing I ever heard.
