Full Description of Event/Sighting: My wife and I saw a bright orange light in the sky. We first saw it moving from north towards the south or southeast. It stopped moving after a while and seemed to just hover in the sky for about 40 seconds and then it slowly started to get dimmer until it finally disappeared.

Slow Moving Object Comes To A Stop Over Lakeview Terrace California

June 4th, 2008 at about 10:45 p.m. a group of six family members witnessed an odd object in the area of Lakeview Terrace CA, (just right over where the city meets the mountain area).

 

The object was moving slowly and then it just stopped, and just stayed still for about 2 minutes before slowly moving again. After about 4 to 5 minutes, we saw an aircraft going towards the object and before it got close to it, the object just shot of. "The weirdest thing ever".

Plane Comes To A Stop Over Mesa Arizona ?

Time:  Daytime.

 

I live in the metro Phoenix area and I am watching the sky's alot more than I used to. One day in March/08, I saw a biplane over the city of Mesa come to a complete stop. I first noticed it because it seemed to be flying awfully low and very slow, plus it was painted an ugly orange color.

 

There are alot of sightings here if you just pay attention. At least once a week I watch what I think is an airplane and it disappears into thin air. They are usually shaped like a military plane, either silver or white.

I am totally amazed, that I see them this often and wonder if anybody else sees them. They are always daytime sightings.

Huge Green Beam Of Light Comes From UFO Over Central Ohio

Time: Evening.

I saw the article at http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2011/04/neon-green-beam-of-light-over-maalaea.html about the green beam of light coming from the sky, and I've had a very similar experience in 2009.

Before I get started, I'd just like to say that I'm a skeptic and an Atheist, so I don't think it was some "spirit" or anything, and I'm not exaggerating to try to make it sound like a had a "close encounter" or whatever. The following is really the only reason I have for believing that there may be ET's visiting us.

I was on the way back home from my mothers house (Central, Ohio) when a huge green beam of light coming from about 10 feet above a large tree that was about 75 feet behind us. It started shining inside of the car and zig-zagging all over the place, lighting up about a 50 feet radius.

My buddy was driving and he thought it was just someone messing with us or something, as I did too at the moment, so he threw the car in reverse and backed up to the tree it was coming from and shouted for "whoever's shining that light in my mirror get the heck out here!

I can't see where I'm going, you're lighting up the whole inside of the car and it stopped. We sat there for a minute, then continued on our way. As soon as we started driving again, the light started zig-zagging at a more and more rapid pace illuminating what I'd guess was about a 500 feet radius, it lit up the whole damn neighborhood pretty much.

It was at that point when I realized where it was coming from, like I said, about 10 feet above the tree. It continued to follow us all the way down the road, keeping up with us the whole time. Throughout the whole rest of the way home which was about 8 miles, we could see green orb-like lights throughout the woods on both sides of us and when we got into town they just vanished and I've never seen anything like it since.

It's wasn't 40 feet wide, or coming from the ocean, but it seems like a really similar incident; green beam of light coming from seemingly nowhere. Thanks for your time.

Corvallis, Oregon UFO Falling Comes To A Hover

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside on the back porch, the sky was very clear and looking west at the stars with Venus to the SW. Suddenly a round, bright white, a somewhat bluish light appeared about ten degrees N of due west at around 50 degrees above the horizon. It was nearly twice as bright/large as Venus which I could see to the SW. It descended rapidly straight down as soon as it appeared, did not leave a trail of any sort, brightness and size increased slightly and in around 4 seconds got to about a thumb and half's width at arms length above the horizon over the low hills to the west. At this point, it stopped descending and a tight, short, rainbow-like cone appeared on the trailing side, but the cone was not much longer than the object was wide. The colors reminded me of soft neon lights. It hovered for almost two seconds, cone and all, before suddenly disappearing, like turning out a light. Distance was hard to judge, but I'd guess that at the point where it stopped above the horizon it was ~15 or 20 miles away.

Two nights later around 22:30 PST, another clear night, another light appeared at nearly the same position in the west as before, and was moving at about the same pace as before but traveling ESE, going almost overhead. It just suddenly disappeared, no cone this time, about 45 deg. above the horizon to the SE. The altitude seemed higher than a commercial plane, and it wasn't quite as bright, as if it were further away maybe. It was visible for a total of around 8 or 10 seconds.

I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic so I have a good familiarity with flying craft. I couldn't explain these two events as either a meteor or satellite so thought I'd submit them here.

McMinnville, Oregon UFO Comes To A Stop And Moves Off

Full Description of event/sighting: i was driving down 2nd Street towards Adams when up in the sky a Green Circular object descended straight down really quick then stopped and in a split second took off straight forward and was gone before I could even think about what all just happened. The truck in front of me slammed on his brakes so I am sure I am not the only person who saw the object. Before this afternoon I can honestly say I thought UFO stuff was just something people made up. Now I am positive they are for real.

Whirlpool State Park Niagara Falls, N.Y. UFO Comes Out Of Devils Hole

Location of Sighting: Whirlpool State Park Niagara Falls.

Full Description of event/sighting: Me and my buddy were in the gorge near Devils' Hole getting ready to start heading up, it was almost dark. Three lights spinning slowly in a circle drifted out from over the whirlpool in the gorge. One green, one white, one red. The lights instantly start spinning in a circle at a tremendous rate creating a ring of white light. The light illuminates the sides of the gorge, trees, water. The light from the ring was so bright you could not see the top of the spacecraft, but as it rose slowly up past the top of the gorge I could see a dome-like silhouette against the fading light of the sky.

The spacecraft rose a few hundred feet above the trees, then proceeded to put on a little show. In the blink of an eye it flew away, back, away up, back, over here, over there hundreds of miles at each turn, in perfectly straight lines. It was completely and totally silent. It did this no less than 12 times, probably closer to fifteen, leaving a white streak of a light trail in my mind that I will not forget. It then came back to the same exact location that it started above the top of the trees, then proceeded out of our atmosphere on a gentle arc at a slow (relatively) speed that left a orangish light trail across the sky. The light was not actual but the best my eyes could interpret the speed of the spacecraft jetting out into space.

The whole event lasted about 10-15 seconds. It wasn't a weather balloon, a hoax, an "object", or anything anyone on this planet built in recent history. I looked at my buddy and asked "Did you see that?" He said "Yep" That's all the validation I needed. I didn't even look over at him to see if he had seen it while it was happening, I was fixed on the spacecraft. We never thought to tell anyone for some reason. Maybe alien brain washing, or knowing that not too many people would believe(this was way back in the 90's before ufo's were popular). I saw a show about an Arizona sighting tonight and it made me think of it. I might have seen a helicopter fly by while this was happening, it would be cool if the pilot or passengers saw it too. I checked the papers the next day and there was no mention. Aliens visit planet Earth.

Paradise, California Object Would Lunge In Short Bursts & Stop

Full Description of event/sighting: Around 10:00 pm on Wednesday the 28th of December 2005 I was at a friends house, looking at the stars in the night sky. I noticed, that one of the stars seemed to be moving. The "star" was definitely moving. It seemed to be doing a dance. It would lunge in short bursts one way, stop, then go another direction, it seemed to stay in one area in the sky but all of the movements were random. I called my friend to watch it, and he too, confirmed what I was watching. I don't know how long it was there. we had plans and had to leave, but I watched it for a good 15 minutes.
