Viewers will be transported to 1963 to watch the drama unfold as the U.S. government launches a covert space mission sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century-long voyage aboard the starship Ascension to populate a new world.

Nearly 50 years into the journey, as they approach the point of no return, the mysterious murder of a young woman causes the ship's population to question the true nature of their mission.

Brian Van Holt (Cougar Town, The Bridge) will star as the ship's heroic captain, William Denninger, opposite Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galatica, The Firm), who will play the role of his wife.

In addition to Helfer, the cast features a number of Canadian actors including Jacqueline Byers (90 Days, Scared Stiff) and Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, Ringer). Wendy Crewson (Revenge, Saving Hope), Ryan Robbins (Sanctuary, Apollo 18) and John Ralston (Bomb Girls, Life with Derek) are currently set to guest star.

Other lead cast members include Brandon P. Bell (Hollywood Heights, Mission Impossible III) and Tiffany Lonsdale (G.I Jane: Retaliation), who will also star alongside Van Holt and Helfer.

Bright Orange Colored Light Shoots Up Into Space Over Cape San Blas Florida

Time:  Evening.

Wow, exactly what happened about a hour ago on Cape San Blas, Florida. Trying to figure out what we saw after a very intense thunderstorm on Cape San Blas, FL in the sky.

There was a large bright orange light that looked like it was floating. It had a like a halo light around it. It came it kind of slow and was bright.

Then it just stay in one spot for a few minutes. I thought it was a helicopter, but then the orange light on it started to fade and then it took off all the sudden towards space turning more red or dark orange the further it got away.

I ran to get my phone to record it when it was sitting still, but then it took off, so I just watched it as it faded away into space. I Googled it and that’s when I found your site.

UFO Shoots Back Into Space Over Edinburg Texas

Time:  9:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of Objects: Orb.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend and I were out in my parents driveway talking and I noticed a bright light/orb moving a bit, then completely stationary above her head in the distance.

 

I told her to look at what I was witnessing, it was so bright and there was no noise or sound. We both fixed our eyes on it both puzzled at it’s brightness and were trying to figure out what type of aircraft it could be.

 

It appeared to shine it’s light in our direction brightly, then in less than a second it turned it’s light away from us and jetted straight up into what we feel confident in saying back into space.

 

I don't know what it could have been, but I have never forgotten and have never seen anything like it again. I am a nurse and my friend is a physics teacher. This was not a plane, as adults we have discussed it before and still are confident it was not a plane or other human aircraft.

 

The way it moved was not human engineered, crazy I know, but true.

 

There is a small airport next to this area, but I can guarantee I have seen many planes, jets, weather balloons, crop dusters, helicopters, satellites and this was not any one of those.

 

This was confident and precise, advanced and spooky to move as fast as it did. Our government has to let us know what they know, if they know anything.

 

We would not be able to compete with this technology. I know how this sounds, but it happened. Thank you for allowing me to share.

Just North Of Kennedy Space Center Bright UFO And Lighted Windows

Time: 3:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Just north of Kennedy Space Center.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Appeared to be round.

Full Description of event/sighting: As an amateur astronomer, I have eliminated it to be an object that stayed in position as the rest of the stars moved in their normal patterns. I first observed it with the naked eye as it appeared to be a very bright star. I then positioned my binoculars 7x45, on a fixed mount.

The object kept it's position with horizontal adjustments, which I observed at least 3x. It was at least the equivalent of 6 stars wide within that field of vision. It had one bright light in the center, with what appeared to be lighted windows going around the portion that could be observed.

Because of my proximity to the Cape, I live at the end of the island which is the beginning of the Capes protected land. It has given me a clear view of the shuttle launches. I have seen several objects the night of several launches. The past objects have all been a diamond shaped craft, with multi-colored lights.

Culver, Oregon The International Space Station And Docked Shuttle (Pictures)

Hello Brian, we live in Culver, Oregon USA.

I was working finishing my home's front porch on June 20 2007 late evening when I look up and saw this two bright lights crossing the sky. Since I was taking a picture of airplanes crossing over and leaving trails and trying to catch on film this convoy. I have seen some other times of one big liner and two small escorts flying very high. I took some shots of the lights and I was very exited and downloaded them to my PC. Also before jumping the gun and calling it a UFO, I did some research under my wife's advice and we found out that in fact this object is the International Space Station and the second light was the Space shuttle.

I thought on sharing with you and the gang. So there is a point of reference to compare if some one sees something up in the sky and takes a picture or looks at it with a telescope, the Shuttle looked just like a dot and left a trail in the picture. I didn't pan the camera with it I was to exited.

This ended up being great shots and also IFO's, well maybe next time I get to see one of the famous triangles.
