Eugene, Oregon A Pizza Shaped UFO

Well, hello Mr. Vike. I listened to your radio program earlier tonight (first time) and felt encouraged enough that I decided to finally tell about an event that took place many years ago, in 1962, when I was ten years old. To my knowledge, no-one outside my immediate family except for my husband knows of this. The others in my family want to pretend nothing ever happened, even though we spent many hours talking about it in years long gone. School had just recently started back up, and my oldest sister (13 years old, 7th grade ) had to go to the library in town to research something for class. My mother had picked us all up when school let out and drove directly to there. We were inside, probably an hour or so. When we stepped out to the parking lot, there were about 8 to 13 people in various areas of the parking area, the sidewalk, and the bicycle rack, all looking up, some pointing.
We looked up and saw a small silver (or white, or light grey) pizza shaped craft in the air, not high up at all. Maybe 200 feet. (I climbed 200 foot Douglas Fir trees all the time back then, so I could judge the distance pretty well ). It made no noise, had no lights, no visible seams, no windows, no markings whatsoever. We watched for a few minutes and then got in our car and left. The day was clear blue sky, unlike an average day in that particular area of that particular state. From the library, we drove straight west about 4 miles, where we turned to go south 8 more miles to home.
Before we made that left turn to go south, we noticed the air-object-thing was also going west parallel to us. We turned left and so did it. It was pacing our car and at that time, we realized it had an interest in us. And so then we were all terrified. So much so, that my Mother let me sit on the open window of the back passenger door to watch and report on it. Normally, she wouldn't even let us have a window open. The car was a 1961 white Pontiac Tempest Station Wagon. (It was new, and so helps me to date this incident). My mother was driving, my 12 year old sister next to her in the front seat, and my 13 year old sister beside the passenger side window. (pecking order in full effect). In the back seat, behind mother, was my 9 year old brother. In the middle, my 7 year old brother, and in the rear, package compartment area was my youngest brother, 5. No seatbelts back then! I was clutching the little rain gutter above the outside of the door, my legs from the knees down inside the car and the rest of me outside.
The silver thing was nearly directly overhead at that point. We were about 4 miles from our house still. We had just cleared a fairly high hill and was on the downward side. Not one other car in site. The object was spookily silent and the more we slowed, the more it did, so I think that my mother, panicking, decided to speed up to get home before it "got us". But none of us knows from that point on. We don't remember getting home, don't remember the thing leaving, nothing. I haven't talked to anyone in my family for over ten years except for the one brother who is just a year younger than me. After 10 years, I finally talked to him last fall. I asked what he remembered and he said just that all us girls were really hysterically excited in the car that day. My mother had called the airport but learned nothing. She called the news or it was in the paper the next day, I don't clearly remember.
What was reported is that, some university kids had put a candle into a balloon, and that's what everyone saw! I was young, but not stupid and that explanation was ludicrous. My arms are clumsily numb, so please forgive my crude illustrations. The first picture, I tried to represent the tree-line that was about 50 feet off the western side of the paved highway. Most of the trees were second growth timber that averaged 150 to 200 feet tall. They were thick, and went back undisturbed by any houses for 4 miles or so. There weren't any houses on either side of the highway and none could be seen from there. The triangle shape was twice the height of the trees (at most) during that stretch of the road. It stayed towards "my side" of the car (western side) while still being up. It may have been 30 feet long on the sides and 15 across the back.( an isosceles triangle, I guess). The skinny point was aimed the same direction as our car. The sun was down low behind the trees, but with plenty of light. It hadn't started to get dark yet. No glares of light or anything. Well, that's it for now. I am afraid that something happened but I don't know what ! Sincerely. (name removed)
Additional Information:
It started at the Eugene Public Library in Eugene, Oregon. It's a University town and the library was close to the whole University of Oregon complex. From the library, the street to head home on, is 11th Ave., which becomes West 11th headed towards Fern Ridge Dam and the small town of Veneta, Oregon. The Airport is also out there, and the speedway (race-track), to the North of W. 11th. When we turn to head South, I believe that piece of the road was called Bailey Hill Road (that's what we called it). And that's the name of the Hill we had to cross over.
(It was a high spot that we used to park on to see the fireworks-- but usually was too cloudy and rainy to see much). After the area where the "event" occurred, about 4 miles away from W. 11th, we meet up with Lorane Highway, and 4 miles further is where our house was. Where something (or nothing) happened, was only about 1/4 to 1/2 mile on the town side of our grade school, where we had been picked up from earlier, and had to pass by to get home. It's called Twin Oaks Elementary School. At that point, only my oldest sister went into town to school, to the middle school, which was Jefferson Jr. High.
We had just bought the station wagon that year, and we didn't have it long, because my mother, driving us home from the drive-in late, late at night, hit a deer and totaled it out. I don't think we had it but for a year , less than two. There were some odd things happen that may or not be connected with this encounter. The one that springs to mind right now took place in the woods about 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile behind our property. Me and my brothers were hiking/exploring (I was always the leader on our adventures). We came to an area that was a meadow like clearing in the forest. There was a waterfall coming "out of nowhere" that disappeared behind a seemingly new, chain link fence. That was unusual but what really interested us was an area of twisted metal and some skulls 5 to 7, I think,that lay there amongst them. It was clear there had been an old road there at one point, so a wreck was what we thought. However they weren't human skulls, so we told ourselves goats! But they didn't look anything like goat skulls, and closer to human.
Our place was a goat-farm prior to us buying it (in 1958) and there were a lot of goat skulls in a wooden enclosure down by our pasture. And our neighbor still had a goat herd, so we definitely knew what a goat skull looked like. There seemed to be at least two tangled vehicles in the crash, and it seemed like it had been there a long time. So the new-looking fence around that mysterious water falls was even more of a mystery. We got spooked out and left. We tried to re-find it years later but with no luck. By that time, I had convinced myself that it was some moonshiners who'd wrecked or had a shootout back there on that hidden road, sometime years earlier (30 or so). And maybe the "fake?" waterfall was part of a whiskey-still set-up. (I think that was my father's idea when we told him about it). I talked to brother #2 sometime around 1994, and he remembered the odd skulls and what he described as a wrecked flat bed truck. (This isn't the same brother that I talked to about the 1962 event-- that was bro.#1). while we were remembering (still trying to figure the oddities out, as adults) he mentioned a symbol that was "given" to him and really important to him. He assumed I had the same one, but when I didn't guess his the first time, he wouldn't tell me anymore. So, I don't know what he was talking about, although it seemed linked to this strange stuff. (I do have a mark that appeared suddenly. It looks like a birthmark, and isn't a scar, and is so faded it's nearly impossible to see now.) So, now you can see why I haven't shared this sort of stuff with anyone besides my kids and husband. Too Weird! Well, anyway, hope life is treating you good. Sincerely.

Beausejour, Manitoba A Silver Angular Shaped UFO

Hi. I have a story to submit if I could be anonymous.
I have read a post from Windsor, Ontario, 1960s, as this was about the time of my own sighting. It was near Beausejour, Manitoba, approximately 1965 or 1966, as I remember I was about 6 years old and could barely see above the window sill of our farmhouse.
There were unusual lights in the sky that night, far in the distance and my mom and dad watched them from our house for a minute or two before my parents left to go back to the kitchen. I stood there watching and eventually the lights started approaching. I remember seeing a silver angular shaped craft which I can see clearly in my mind, begin to lower itself over a telephone pole across the road near the neighbors driveway.
Similar to the description from Windsor, Ontario, it had a circle of lights, multicolored, on the bottom of the craft, spinning in a circle, as if the whole underside of the craft was rotating. It hovered there for quite some time and I remember yelling for my parents to come back to see it now, but they said something like, "we already have seen it." I stared at it for quite some time and I clearly remember thinking that I will remember this for the rest of my life, even though I was very young.
The craft was silver colored and had clear angular corners and hovered without noise for quite some time. Eventually, I have no idea how long later, it began to rise up and slowly progress to the middle of the sky where suddenly it shot across the sky at a speed I could not imagine being from any plane I had ever saw. It was clear to me even as a child this was incredibly fast. I believe there were sightings in Beausejour area in the 60s and once I saw an ad in the local paper as an adult for anyone with sightings in this area from the 60s to write. I did not respond to the ad but always regret that.
My mother to this day remembers the night was watched the far away lights in the sky and that I excitedly tried to get them to return to the window but they refused. Hope this is of interest to someone.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian! I just read the post about that Sasquatch sighting in Port Renfrew; the same thing happened to me in the summer of 2004. We had a mineral claim up an abandoned logging road just outside the village of Port Renfrew. One afternoon, I was alone at the trailer, my husband was working. I had to go to work myself in the afternoon, so I got in the truck and started driving down the old road. Not even a 100 meters away, I saw what at first I thought to be a bear, because we knew there was a big and also a smaller bear hanging in the area. So I started to stop the truck. It had come out of the bush from the left side of the road, where the land drops quit a bit, and when it got in the middle of the road, it froze, seeing my truck coming. Then he bolted towards the other side of the road, where there was a rock face.
There's actually an animal trail going up that rock, and also another abandoned road on top of it which is totally over grown. I remember freezing myself, because my brain couldn't understand what I was seeing. It was impossible a bear could just come out of the bush, standing up, walk on the road and then start running, still standing on two legs, and hop up the trail! It was dark brown, about 7 foot tall, walked like a man. I could see it clearly because by the time I stopped the truck, it wasn't even 20 meters away and it was on very a bright day. I saw it's face when it turned around to look at the truck. It really did look like Sasquatch depictions I have seen up to now. I remember getting of the truck and checking the road and up the trail if I could see anything. But I didn't find anything. I didn't hear or saw it again afterwards.

East Toronto, Ontario - City Of Toronto Police Officer Witnesses A Huge UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: I am a Police officer employed by the City of Toronto Ontario. I have been so employed 29 years. In the Fall of 2004 in the afternoon I was assigned the traffic enforcement detail. To do this I use a Laser speed measuring device. In the afternoon I was on a major north south road in the city's east end. I was seated inside my parked auto facing north. I was looking at the heavily overcast skies when something caught my eye. I looked directly overhead and saw a large golden orb. It glowed but had no discernable tail. It was within the clouds but the bottom of the orb was slightly lower and visible. The clouds were low, but I could tell this object was huge. It moved northbound at a high rate of speed causing a wake in the clouds. I could see it was indeed an orb from a distance before it went out of sight. In 4 - 6 seconds it was gone.
After several minutes I texted my radio dispatcher by way of the computer and asked if there were any calls for a meteor or lights in the sky. The dispatcher after several minutes confirmed some calls did come in regarding lights in the sky. I kept my sighting to myself and made no report to my superiors. I fully expected something in the evening news about a meteor in the sky. There were no news reports to my knowledge. Before this incident I had little interest in UFO sightings etc.

Kelowna, British Columbia Lights Groups Together

Mr. Vike: I'm not sure if you received my first e-mail so I am writing again. I would really like an answer (although I understand some things are not explainable) to what I saw. On the evening of June 15, 2008 I was working at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club which backs onto Dilworth Mountain. It was approximately 10:00-10:30pm and weather conditions that night were clear. There were two other employees present sitting on the back deck that looks over the course and Dilworth Mountain is the back drop. I was inside when one of the employees came rushing in and told me I needed to come out side and see "this". I went outside and quickly glanced up towards the mountain. I saw four lights which, each of these lights appeared to be three lights grouped together, 1 large and two smaller right beside the larger.
Three of the orbs were in a triangle formation about mid-way down the back of Dilworth Mountain. There was a fourth that was lower than the other three. We stood and watched them for approximately five minutes. Two of the orbs started to rise slowly and seemed to merge together, we commented how it looked like they were going to crash into each other. After merging they moved upward. The third did the same and all of them eventually disappeared. The fourth orb moved more slowly upward then stopped and sent out tendrils of lights. Interestingly enough another employee of the club who wasn't working that night had gone out for a walk up Crawford Road. He saw the lights come in from the northeast and line up in a row before moving into the triangle formation. Then he saw everything we did after that.
One strange thing that stands out is that three out of the four of us who saw it didn't seem to remember it until it was mentioned to us. My wife had asked me the next day if I had told our son and I didn't know what she was talking about until she mentioned it. Two of the other witnesses mentioned this memory issue as well. You would think after witnessing such an event it would be foremost in your mind. I would like to mention that up until that night I thought all this UFO stuff was kind of crap but I definitely saw something that I cannot explain. Minden, Ontario A Meteor Shaped Object With Yellow Tail Following

Myself and 7 others also saw a meteor shaped object June 30 at 11:45 ish in Minden, Ontario when out for a boat cruise on Gull Lake. We saw a large green glowing ball shape seen for about 10 seconds, low in the sky travelling from east to west with a long yellow tail that left a streak in the sky for an hour plus. Beautiful and much more colorful, longer lasting and larger than the usually viewed shooting star. Would love to hear from any astronomers who know what this was.

Wow! what I saw was like fireworks coming out of this light, which I must say I thought was the morning star, but what were these white globes doing moving so fast in and out of the light, darting around back and forth up and down, it was amazing.I have no idea what I witnessed, but if you have an explanation I
would be very grateful. One thing did cross my mind, we have The Royal International Air Tatoo here every year do think there is some
connection.

Description: There were 6 of us laying on the beach just before 4:00am, when there was a large explosion in the southwest sky. Meteor like object flew east with large vapor trail. The trail tapered off as the object seemed to break apart into 2 lights, one a bit above the other. There appeared to be a tube between the lights, making the object one, but the tube was dark so I can't say for sure. It or they faded off in the eastern sky, appearing to lose altitude. New Jersey Turnpike Between NY And Newark Football Shaped UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: In cab on way to airport, had object size of thumbnail at arm's length 45 degrees from horizon, no apparent motion, football shaped, hovering. No visible tether. Clear sky, not a building top as horizon was visible. Seen from several angles for about fifteen minutes while vehicle was changing position on NJ turnpike.
Driver of cab also saw it, when we stopped and unloaded luggage at airport. Still stationery and clearly visible from airport in southeast direction from front of departure terminal. Clearly visible, no motion, dark grey.
Not an airplane, saw from several angles, no wings, no taillights. Only other possibility a blimp, but no motion.

Scarborough, Ontario UFO Passes Over Top Of Jet Aircraft

Hi Brian, I would like to report a UFO to you. On Thursday, July 3rd 2008 I went to my wife’s parents home in central Scarborough (Mc Cowan /Lawrence) after work 5:00pm. While walking down the driveway with garbage bags in each hand. I could hear a loud jet noise close by and turned southward. I could see that it was quite low (3000-5000ft approx) heading towards my direction. I was under a large tree, and stopped to watch it pass overhead beyond the tree - northward. As the jet appeared, my heart started to race. Just above the jet and crossing over the jet at a higher altitude. I could see a round brilliant white colored UFO ? This thing was moving on a straight flight path above, heading westward, towards northern Toronto. It really freaked me out, as I watched for about 10 seconds. Looked really dense of whiteness and moved one and a half times the speed of a jet.
It was the way it moved, that was the real eerie part Brian. The movement was just like Pac Man, the video game, as it moved along. I then scrambled to my car on the street and grabbed my camera within 15 seconds. I looked for the object ,could no longer see the thing. I snapped one picture anyway, to see if I could capture the UFO on film at a distance. I have attached the picture that was taken at 6:26pm est. There are a couple of questionable things in the photo taken. One round dark something to the left and a white something in the center of the photo.. Though, my eyes did witnessed something very unusual, for about 10 seconds at the time of 6:25-6:26 pm. I also had noticed that July 3, 2008 also is a New Moon. Not sure if that means anything..I really wonder what was it’s business up there ? Thx for your time and will leave this photo and report with you. P.S. When I arrived into Whitby less than an hour later [approx 7:30pm] to see my friend. Minutes before my arrival, he and a co worker noticed the same type of round white object moving high above the clouds, heading towards Oshawa. Now how weird is that ? Gargas, Vaucluse France Triangular UFO Filmed (Pictures)

Weather Conditions: Very clear.
Description: Very strange light formation moving very quickly came straight towards the village. It made a sweep of the edge of village then turned, went back in the direction it came. It then made another sweep of the edge of the village, passing almost directly above our back garden. I have never seen anything like this in my life. it was so big and moved so fast with very little noise. the only noise came slightly after it passed, but not a mechanical noise - more just something passing through the air very quickly. On the second sweep we ran for binoculars and digital camera. My first thought was that it was two military aircraft flying very close together. With binoculars I realized this was false. We managed to get two photos.
There was definitely Bright white lights seen in photo, and also red lights, i thought i also saw green lights but my partner said yellow. The red and green lights made me feel for sure it was some kind of real aircraft, due to normal navigation lights. But with the view through binoculars I completely ruled this out.

Lincoln Park Michigan A Glowing Orange Reddish Circular UFO

Weather Conditions: Clear skies, except the fireworks of course.
Description: Shooting off fireworks in the street and through the trees we seen a glowing orange reddish circular thing moving slowly "had some speed to it though, it was gone in a few minutes" hovered on by, headed south west and disappeared from our vision, "got to far away" tried to get video and pictures of it but none of them came out really. It was up fairly high, but still low enough to get our attention... Some of us are still interested to find out what this unexplained flying object was.

Santa Cruz, California A Large Unknown Object

Shape of objects: Circular, then expanded to oblong shape.
Weather Conditions: Clear with no clouds.
Description: While watching the Santa Cruz fireworks way off in the distance (I live in a canyon about 4 miles away), I noticed what appeared to be a large roman candle-like object rise in the sky, approximately 2 miles away from me (clearly well closer than the firework show). What made me stop and stare was that this object, instead of falling back to the sky and extinguishing, became brighter and increased circumference, and then hovered and changed shape into an oblong, oval shape. It hovered for about 20 seconds, then moved up and down before compressing back to a circle and eventually disappearing. Interesting to note is that the object never diminished in brightness, even while changing shapes and moving about.
This first observation was surprising, and I noted it was odd - but then approximately 15 minutes later I witnessed the same exact thing, this time the object was larger (closer maybe?). It was for sure not part of the firework show, was much, much closer - and I do not know of any firework that can hove

Thornton, Colorado 3 Bright Circular Flame Objects

Description: We were watching fireworks when we suddenly all 3 saw a bright circular flame high up in the sky to the east. It was flying fairly slowly and not in a straight line. Occasionally, it would extinguish and then re-appear a few seconds later. After flying around for about 3 minutes, it extinguished completely and a few seconds later, 3 of them appeared. I ran inside to grab my camera and by the time I got back out, 2 of them had vanished. I got a video of the last one for about 20 seconds before it went behind a tree and disappeared.
I just noticed there was an almost identical sighting in Michigan on the 4th (listed on this site) as well. If anyone who was there took any pictures or video, I would love to hear from you.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen, also asking for the video and received the following reply:
Hey there. I checked out a few videos of UFO balloons/lanterns after the sighting and decided that it was definitely not balloons. These had a tail behind them very similar to a comet, and there was very distinctly one by itself that kept disappearing and reappearing, and then eventually it disappeared and reappeared at the exact same time as 2 others. The 3 of us that were watching were all completely dumbfounded. I have the video of the single one on my camera at home and haven't had a chance to transfer it to see if it shows any detail, but I can check it when I get home and upload for you if you like.

Feel free to add it (the video) to the report. The lights you see towards the end of the video are a street light and probably a firework or another street light. I was walking to the other side of my yard to try to get a view around the tree and was paying attention to where I was walking rather than what was on the viewfinder. I agree that you can't tell anything from the video, and I didn't expect it to show anything with any kind of quality - It's pretty low-res, I just took it from my Powershot and didn't have time to adjust any settings. Description: On the 4th of July we noticed what appeared to be a yellow light coming toward us. We all looked up to see what it was and everyone speculated it was a airplane or helicopter, but we heard no noise and the lights was different from anything we seen before.
We were watching the approach and it appeared to be light coming our way. It looked sort of like a flame, but when I got closer it was a blue light and it approached from the south and as it passed over us heading west we noticed it was a blue light sort of Florescent and round but hollow in the middle that zipped pass us.

Description: The most beautiful blue red pink and pure white light. On 7-5-08 1:45 A.M. my brother called me telling me about it going in a weird northern direction. He alone used Poles and power wires between him and the object to get a good idea what the movements were. The sighting lasted 17
minutes and the way he described it, it was acting erratic, like a kite whipping around in circles and going and stopping. In Altamonte springs Me and my friends were watching the bad storm approaching and the fireworks going off I guess every body was getting rid of there fireworks and I looked at my friend and seen the light like a star just sitting there but moving northward and stopping. no erratic stuff no whipping around just moving up and down just so slightly and stopping.

Description: Object was noticed hovering above tree line for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, then started moving straight towards us and over top of us. It was not very high maybe 4,000 feet, but moved very fast with no sound and was orange in color looked like a comet but with no tail. and in stead of falling to the earth it kept progressing upward till it disappeared. This was seen by most of my family in laws and friends camping with us approximately 20 persons. Others saw it as well . We did take a picture, we will let you know how it turns out.

I thought that was hard to believe, but about two minutes after that, I looked up to the sky and above me, lower than planes fly was a big flying saucer shaped object, it was not moving as fast as the first object and was much lower and had no lights showing it was a metallic color, I watched it until it just floated away.

I looked back and there was an orange, glowing, round object moving slowly and silently. It was very distant but appeared very large. It would move, and then stop and hover. It repeated this about 3 times. It then stayed stationary, and stared moving away from us. It kept moving farther and farther away, and getting smaller and smaller until it was out of sight.
I'm not sure on the absolute directions (north, east, south, west).

Of the 16 of us that saw it, it really scared the six kids with us.

It had looked like more were appearing throughout the sky but these were moving at speeds of airplanes or jets I was uncertain on second thought I decided to think they were jets trying to get close to these objects but as soon as they would get closer the flashing lights would vanish.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, this was not actually my sighting but my friends. It took place in Millville which is just outside of north Sydney. I thought I would tell you anyway and you can do what you want with it. I must mention that my friend that seen this, would always laugh at me when I would talk about the topic or tell him that I seen something. He called me Monday morning telling me about this and was actually sounding pretty exited. I'm sending this to you because I know he really won't tell too many people. Anyway the story is not very long because he's not much of a talker, but he's also not someone that would make up such a story, so with that in mind he simply told me he was out in his yard at 2:00am, it was a very clear night and very dark so you could see the night sky very well. I believe he said he was checking on his dogs and just happened to scan the sky because it was a beautiful night after all and said he seen a very large white ball of light flying horizontally through the sky.
He said at first he figured a plane but then as he looked more intently he realized that this thing looked nothing like a plane, no noise, absolutely none which he said really confused him. I guess since he doesn't really believe in UFOs or at least until then he said he was totally amazed at how big and bright this light actually was.Plus he said it was traveling what looked to be slower than a commercial plane. He said he watched it until it was out of sight then went into his house feeling kind of confused as to what he has just seen. My friend told me that it was definitely not any type of plane that he had ever seen. He told me he's sticking with a meteor or space debris re-entering the atmosphere. But to me it's sounded like a UFO. Anyway I just wanted to share that with you just in case anyone else sends you an e-mail telling you they saw something similar around the area. As far as myself, I have been looking, but no more luck as of

Firestone, Colorado A Bright Orange Rectangular Colored UFO

Weather Conditions: Hazy from rain evaporation, maybe 50 percent cloud coverage.
Description: I was driving north on the I-25 Frontage road between 119 and 66. I looked west towards the mountains and noticed a bright orange rectangular yellow/orange (the color of fire) light out over Longmont, Colorado. I pulled over, got out of my vehicle and watched this object for about 1 minute. It changed shaped by smearing (for lack of better word) down to the left almost like a water fall or molten metal. Two much smaller lights emerged of equal size: one directly above and one directly below. The lights moved around slowly off of center and then they re-emerged as one. The one large light then decreased in size until it vanished completely.
TV/Radio: I called 911 in Firestone and they patched me through to the Longmont police department. I reported what I saw and asked if anyone else had reported something similar. The dispatcher sounded amused. She said there had been no other reports, kind of laughed and said she would pass it along.

UFO Gives Off Electrical Charge North Of Creston, British Columbia

Three witnesses were driving northbound on 3A traveling at about 90 kilometers heading to Kootenay Bay when they saw what looked like a dark colored disc/saucer shaped object with approx: 25 - 30 solid red lights running around it. (when they first saw it, it was sitting in a horizontal position) The object was just a head of them at about a 1/4 miles distance away. The craft seemed to tilt toward the travelers and they noticed some sort of electrical discharge coming from the lower end of the craft. They described the discharge as lighting bolts spreading out across the sky. (short distance from the object) It slowly moved toward the east and upward, still in a tilted position, still giving off this strange discharge until they were only able to see what they believed to be the flashing of the discharge due to the objects distance away from them.
They were freaked right out. Actually a lady passenger was screaming and it took sometime before her husband was able to calm her down. They said they never have seen anything like it before, and never anything that might have been something of a unknown nature.

Surrey, British Columbia Object With White Strobing Lights

I was sitting out there again tonight from about 23:00. There seemed to be something going on as there were an unusually large number of small aircraft flying around south of YVR at one point I counted about ten all flying at close to the same altitude and in fairly close proximity. Usually I don't see more then one or two and they are usually headed for Boundary Bay. At approx: 23:40 I noticed a large white strobe appear just to the south of my apartment building. At first I thought it was a commercial airliner on approach but it was not displaying any running lights. When I checked with the binoculars I could just make out a pale shape against the night sky but was unable to determine the shape. While it was broadside to me I could see it had large white strobe at each end flashing alternately. It displayed no running lights at all . Was flying about 1000 to 2000 feet. Approx: 300 to 400 mph. No noise at all and close enough so I should have been able to hear it. I watched it with the binoculars for approx:. one minute until it went behind the trees, it was still heading towards YVR but didn't appear to be descending.

Santa Cruz, California A Large Unknown Object

Shape of objects: Circular, then expanded to oblong shape.
Weather Conditions: Clear with no clouds.
Description: While watching the Santa Cruz fireworks way off in the distance (I live in a canyon about 4 miles away), I noticed what appeared to be a large roman candle-like object rise in the sky, approximately 2 miles away from me (clearly well closer than the firework show). What made me stop and stare was that this object, instead of falling back to the sky and extinguishing, became brighter and increased circumference, and then hovered and changed shape into an oblong, oval shape. It hovered for about 20 seconds, then moved up and down before compressing back to a circle and eventually disappearing. Interesting to note is that the object never diminished in brightness, even while changing shapes and moving about.
This first observation was surprising, and I noted it was odd - but then approximately 15 minutes later I witnessed the same exact thing, this time the object was larger (closer maybe?). It was for sure not part of the firework show, was much, much closer - and I do not know of any firework that can hove

It looked sort of like a flame, but when I got closer it was a blue light and it approached from the south and as it passed over us heading west we noticed it was a blue light sort of Florescent and round but hollow in the middle that zipped pass us.

Description: On the 4th of July we noticed what appeared to be a yellow light coming toward us. We all looked up to see what it was and everyone speculated it was a airplane or helicopter, but we heard no noise and the lights was different from anything we seen before.
We were watching the approach and it appeared to be light coming our way. East Fork Lake, Bethel Ohio UFO Hovering Over Tree Line

Description: Object was noticed hovering above tree line for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, then started moving straight towards us and over top of us. It was not very high maybe 4,000 feet, but moved very fast with no sound and was orange in color looked like a comet but with no tail. and in stead of falling to the earth it kept progressing upward till it disappeared. This was seen by most of my family in laws and friends camping with us approximately 20 persons. Others saw it as well . We did take a picture, we will let you know how it turns out.

Shape of objects: Eye shaped, football shaped, tortoise shaped.
Full Description of event/sighting: In cab on way to airport, had object size of thumbnail at arm's length 45 degrees from horizon, no apparent motion, football shaped, hovering. No visible tether. Clear sky, not a building top as horizon was visible. Seen from several angles for about fifteen minutes while vehicle was changing position on NJ turnpike.
Driver of cab also saw it, when we stopped and unloaded luggage at airport. Still stationery and clearly visible from airport in southeast direction from front of departure terminal. Clearly visible, no motion, dark grey.
Not an airplane, saw from several angles, no wings, no taillights. Only other possibility a blimp, but no motion.

UFOs And Beings In Pennsylvania - Zanes Story (One And Two Part Audio Interview)

Dear Mr. Vike, It is difficult to decide where to begin this story, as I am not sure exactly where the beginning is. Because of this, I will simply share the totality of my knowledge and experience in an anecdotal way.
My mother's side of my family seems to be a beacon for weird things, and UFO/extraterrestrial phenomena fits squarely into that category. As far as I know, the story really begins with my uncle, who was known for something rather odd as a child. He would often disappear from the home in the middle of the night and a member of the family would find him missing, and they would go looking for him. Often, he would be found on the other side of town, wandering in a dazed/confused state. When he was asked about it, he would reply that he just went for a walk. He was not sleepwalking, per se, but would often be found wearing his bedclothes, and sometimes without shoes.
If this should simply seem like odd behavior, the story becomes even odder when added to a recollection of my mother's. She swears that she one day saw “things” walking up the hallway, toward the bedroom that was shared by my two uncles. She describes waking up one night, in the early morning and hearing noises. Among these noises was talking of some sort. Not English, she says, but some kind of chattering-sounding language. Hearing this she looked out her doorway into the hallway. When she did, she says she saw two small creatures, for lack of a better word, move back the hallway, talking lowly between them as the did so. She describes their movement as flowing, almost as if they were not touching the ground and walking as we do, on two legs, but either floating or moving as a millipede does. She does not recall any direct contact with these creatures, but rather just cowering under her covers for a while. The combination of this and the experiences of my uncle, lead me to believe that something more was occurring, here.
These are the only details that I know of from that part of my mother/aunt/uncle's life, and I can only jump many years ahead in my story.
Ever since I was very young (I am 22, now) I have had an interest in astronomy, and would always look up in the sky, day or night, looking for interesting things. This propensity has led me to personally witness a number of very odd things. The earliest that I can remember is when I was about 14 years old. I was sleeping at a friend's home, and he was kind enough to let me sleep on the bed, while he used a sleeping bag on the floor at the side of the bed. Now, the head of my friends bed was arranged so that the person sleeping in it could see out of a window when he was lying on his left side, and it just so happens that I sleep on my side.
Well, in the middle of the night, I woke, as I often do, and looked out the window. There I saw a light. At first, I thought that it was just a star, or a planet, but then I noticed that it was pulsating slightly. So, I watched it for about a minute, maybe less and I sat up to get a better look at whatever it was. The springs on the bed squealed and my friend woke up. He sat up and said something along the lines of “hey, what's going on.....what the heck is THAT.” After that, we just sat there, dumbfounded, watching this thing act “weird” and finally, just....disappear. More accurately, it flew off very, very quickly. We decided to just let it slide, and talk about it later. We never really did.
A similar, though much more close up, experience happened not long after that. My mother, stepfather, stepbrother, and I were going up to a local look-out point at night to look at one of the small towns near our home. The drive was totally normal, uneventful, but the final approach to the parking area was not. When we crested the hill to the flat parking area, there was a classic disc-looking craft, complete with lights, but no sound, sitting in the flattened area. Needless to say, we hightailed it out of there and flew down the mountainside at speeds that can only be described as “unsafe.” We were all fairly well shaken up by the experience and we slept in the same room that night.
Finally, when I was 16 years old, I had a memorable, daylight sighting while walking to the bus stop in McClure, PA. We lived on a hill that I was walking down to catch the bus to school and it was one of those beautiful days where it was still early in the morning and the full moon was visible in the clear blue sky. I was looking at the moon while walking when I saw a bright, metallic, sphere shaped object begin to move into my field of view from south to north as I was looking into the west. Noticing this, I stopped walking and watched the object. It appeared to pass through the moon, but I suspect that this is just an optical illusion created by its very similar color to the lighter parts of the visible moon. After this it continued on its straight course and I began to wonder if it was only an airplane and then it promptly changed direction, it seemed to make an ~60 degree turn instantly and then shot off out of view.
After this, things tapered for a while, and nothing but the occasional weird light in the sky occurred. Then the black triangles started.
When I was 17 years old, a friend and I were making our way to Harrisburg, PA for a weekend-long event. When we finally got to the city, we were driving along a well-known road in Harrisburg named Front Street and I was in the passenger seat resting my head against the window and support column when I saw what may have been the strangest thing I had ever seen up until that point in my life. There, in plain view, was a large, black triangle hovering over the center of the Susquehanna river right in the middle of Harrisburg. However, this was not the strangest part of the whole thing. The craft was, or at least appeared to be, siphoning up some of the water in the river. Whether a physical carrying tube was being used, or the water was simply making its way up some kind of vortex, I can't be sure. If the event had ended there, I might be able to chalk it up to an over-active imagination, or the fact that I was partially asleep at the time; but just then something happened that told me that what I had seen was real. Just as I was about to ask my friend if he saw anything over the river he started to speak.
"(name removed)?" Since there were three (name removed) in my class, most people had taken to calling us by our last names.
"Yeah?"
"Are you looking at, what I'm looking at?"
"You mean the giant black triangle hanging over the river and sucking water up into it?"
"Yep."
"Sure am."
"Good, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going crazy."
As incredulous as that conversation may seem it is, as far as I can recall, quite accurate. The exchange was just like that, matter of fact. But the conversation still wasn't over, as while my friend and I were staring at this thing a call comes over the two-way radio that we had to communicate with the vehicle ahead of us.
"Guys, do you see that thing over the river."
"Yeah, we were just talking about it ourselves."
"Okay, just keep an eye on it and we'll talk about it when we get to the hotel."
"Good idea."
As for the triangle itself, the most striking thing about it was its size. The thing was huge, at least a couple of hundred yards long from one point back to the flat of the opposing line. The second thing about it was that it appeared to be perfectly equilateral, each side exactly the same as the other two. It was jet black, with some recessions on the underside, and it definitely had a textured, industrial look to it. The whole surface of it looked like a cross between an F-117/A and one of those bulbous control tower-looking structures that you see on the bigger navy ships. Also, it was totally silent, or at least so quiet that we could not hear whatever noise it was making from that distance.
So, this was my first sighting of the now-famous black triangles. Mostly I am happy that this was a shared sighting, or I might not believe that it ever happened. Though, really I think the strangest thing about it is that it happened in plain sight, over the river in the middle of the state capitol. In fact, it was within easy sight of the Capitol building itself, at least from the side that faces the river.
After this particular sighting, things quieted down save for a series of passing events; all of which included the black triangles. Because I have been a student for as long as I can remember, all of my jobs placed me on the road between 11:00pm and 1:00am. This has given me great opportunity to see odd things in the sky and on 3 occasions since the Harrisburg incident odd things were indeed seen. Two of the three times, the sighting occurred on small, municipal road called Quarry Road, in Beavertown, PA. Once, I passed almost directly under the triangle. Dropping my head down and looking up through the angled portion of the windshield, so that I was able to see past the roof of the car, I could see the underside of a triangle. Again, it was very large, and visible due to its being darker than the moon-lit sky. Some small lights were visible and, as usual, there was no sound whatsoever. For a sense of distance, I would say that if I were to have held up an apple at arms length, it would have almost totally covered the object.
The other sighting on this road was of a triangle which was just passing through, for lack of a better means of description. From the crest of a hill, over a farming field, I was able to watch a triangle move slowly away from me, eventually disappearing over the horizon, which is made up of a wooded mountain not so terribly far away so that the triangle remained of substantial apparent size throughout the sighting, which probably lasted about 45 seconds.
The other sighting was less memorable, and just consisted of my catching a glimpse of the same old shape as it traveled over our property in Beavertown.
Beyond these sightings of crafts, I have also experienced a number of odd things. All of these things are, on their own, vague and not all that indicative of anything, but taken as a body, I believe that it is evidence of...something.
On one occasion, I awoke in the middle of the night with the distinct feeling that something was amiss, and I turned my head so as to look away from the wall that my bed abutted. I can't be sure, but I would swear to this day that I saw an humanoid figure standing at the foot corner of my bed. This experience was repeated several times throughout my college years, always with the position of the entity slightly shifted, but always only one and I believe it to be the same entity throughout the series of experiences.
The most disturbing of these experiences, though is one that I remember in great detail and which only occurred about one and a half years ago. I had a dream, or at least I think it was a dream. In this dream, the house in which I was living at the time was shrouded in what I can only describe as a supernatural darkness. I can't see anything and am making my way through the house only by memory of the layout and through the sense of touch. I am not blind, the house is simply stripped of any light, including that from the usual, artificial sources such as the indicator lights on the cable modem in the room. Anyway, I make my way down the stairs and am yelling for my mother, I'm terrified, you see because I fear blindness because the next bit had not yet occurred. As I hit the bottom of the stairs, I can see light, very intense in comparison to the rest of the situation but mostly like that of a large fire, leaking in from around the edges of the blind in one of the windows. My mother is not answering but there is indication that my dog is about. Because of this I conclude that she must be out of the house, perhaps staying at one of her friend's homes where she would frequently spend the night. So, I make my way to the window and peel it back a little bit to peak out to see what is causing all the commotion. At this point I wake up and all is normal, so I presume that it was just an odd dream.
The next night, another "dream" hits. In this one, I am upstairs in the late evening, and decide to come down stairs to get a drink. I enter the kitchen and the lights are off, so I can see out the windows. I believe that I see something moving through the trees. I think it is some kind of wildlife, so I move closer to get a better look. What I see is disturbing. My mother is home, so I call her into the kitchen to look. What we see is unbelievable. Moving through the trees are several creatures. They are long and lank, and of very, very pale color. They are humanoid and if I had to put it into a human perspective, I would say that they moved like ballet dancers, with leaping, precise motions. They were making their way through the trees, toward the house and I distinctly remember feeling very threatened at this point. Ever the American, my instant plan was to go and get my shotgun. I told my mother to call someone while moving toward the stairs. She asked me who she should call, and I told her that it could be anybody, just let someone know what was happening. I got up stairs and grabbed the gun, and made my way to the drawer where the shells were kept and I distinctly remember planning out how I would load the weapon. Slug, shot, shot, slug, shot, slug. I opened the boxes and took out the appropriate shells and that is when I woke up.
Well, after two weird dream nights in a row, I decide to share the story with my mother in the "I've been having such bizarre dreams these last couple of nights" way. "Really? So have I. You go first." As I begin to tell her the story she stops me and starts to continue the story of both nights in the same way as my stories went, but from her perspective. Needless to say, we are both pretty frightened by this. I decided to check the window, first and sure enough, the blind is disturbed as if somebody had tried to pull it back and look out of it. It was in a storage room, and it would not be unusual for the window to remain undisturbed for days at a time. worried by this, I decide to go and look on the table of the chest of drawers where I keep the shotguns shells and again, there is the evidence, a pile of shells which correlated to my plan in the "dream." Unfortunately, with no children in the house and shooting be a common pastime for me, having ammunition in the open is not unusual, so of this I can't be sure of the significance.
Since this incident, the only odd thing I can think if is what I can only call an air of the extraterrestrial that has been following me around. I have had several friends who are not usually parcel to the supernatural tell me that they have gotten odd feelings about me and my life that they can't help but to think are somehow connected with aliens. One friend who is a martial arts practitioner actually met me at his door one night when I went to visit holding his katana and asking me if anything was wrong because he got the feeling that I was being followed, and that something not good was afoot.
I think that ends the short version of my current story. I am now married to a lovely girl, and I only hope that I have not dragged her into a world for which she is not prepared, but I hope that anything that happens from here on out will have a likely second source for information.

It appeared to pass through the moon, but I suspect that this is just an optical illusion created by its very similar color to the lighter parts of the visible moon. After this it continued on its straight course and I began to wonder if it was only an airplane and then it promptly changed direction, it seemed to make an ~60 degree turn instantly and then shot off out of view.
After this, things tapered for a while, and nothing but the occasional weird light in the sky occurred. Then the black triangles started.
When I was 17 years old, a friend and I were making our way to Harrisburg, PA for a weekend-long event. When we finally got to the city, we were driving along a well-known road in Harrisburg named Front Street and I was in the passenger seat resting my head against the window and support column when I saw what may have been the strangest thing I had ever seen up until that point in my life. There, in plain view, was a large, black triangle hovering over the center of the Susquehanna river right in the middle of Harrisburg. However, this was not the strangest part of the whole thing. The craft was, or at least appeared to be, siphoning up some of the water in the river. Whether a physical carrying tube was being used, or the water was simply making its way up some kind of vortex, I can't be sure. If the event had ended there, I might be able to chalk it up to an over-active imagination, or the fact that I was partially asleep at the time; but just then something happened that told me that what I had seen was real. Just as I was about to ask my friend if he saw anything over the river he started to speak.
"(name removed)?" Since there were three (name removed) in my class, most people had taken to calling us by our last names.
"Yeah?"
"Are you looking at, what I'm looking at?"
"You mean the giant black triangle hanging over the river and sucking water up into it?"
"Yep."
"Sure am."
"Good, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going crazy."
As incredulous as that conversation may seem it is, as far as I can recall, quite accurate. The exchange was just like that, matter of fact. But the conversation still wasn't over, as while my friend and I were staring at this thing a call comes over the two-way radio that we had to communicate with the vehicle ahead of us.
"Guys, do you see that thing over the river."
"Yeah, we were just talking about it ourselves."
"Okay, just keep an eye on it and we'll talk about it when we get to the hotel."
"Good idea."
As for the triangle itself, the most striking thing about it was its size. The thing was huge, at least a couple of hundred yards long from one point back to the flat of the opposing line. The second thing about it was that it appeared to be perfectly equilateral, each side exactly the same as the other two. It was jet black, with some recessions on the underside, and it definitely had a textured, industrial look to it. The whole surface of it looked like a cross between an F-117/A and one of those bulbous control tower-looking structures that you see on the bigger navy ships. Also, it was totally silent, or at least so quiet that we could not hear whatever noise it was making from that distance.
So, this was my first sighting of the now-famous black triangles. Mostly I am happy that this was a shared sighting, or I might not believe that it ever happened. Though, really I think the strangest thing about it is that it happened in plain sight, over the river in the middle of the state capitol. In fact, it was within easy sight of the Capitol building itself, at least from the side that faces the river.
After this particular sighting, things quieted down save for a series of passing events; all of which included the black triangles. Because I have been a student for as long as I can remember, all of my jobs placed me on the road between 11:00pm and 1:00am. This has given me great opportunity to see odd things in the sky and on 3 occasions since the Harrisburg incident odd things were indeed seen. Two of the three times, the sighting occurred on small, municipal road called Quarry Road, in Beavertown, PA. Once, I passed almost directly under the triangle. Dropping my head down and looking up through the angled portion of the windshield, so that I was able to see past the roof of the car, I could see the underside of a triangle. Again, it was very large, and visible due to its being darker than the moon-lit sky. Some small lights were visible and, as usual, there was no sound whatsoever. For a sense of distance, I would say that if I were to have held up an apple at arms length, it would have almost totally covered the object.
The other sighting on this road was of a triangle which was just passing through, for lack of a better means of description. From the crest of a hill, over a farming field, I was able to watch a triangle move slowly away from me, eventually disappearing over the horizon, which is made up of a wooded mountain not so terribly far away so that the triangle remained of substantial apparent size throughout the sighting, which probably lasted about 45 seconds.
The other sighting was less memorable, and just consisted of my catching a glimpse of the same old shape as it traveled over our property in Beavertown.
Beyond these sightings of crafts, I have also experienced a number of odd things. All of these things are, on their own, vague and not all that indicative of anything, but taken as a body, I believe that it is evidence of...something.
On one occasion, I awoke in the middle of the night with the distinct feeling that something was amiss, and I turned my head so as to look away from the wall that my bed abutted. I can't be sure, but I would swear to this day that I saw an humanoid figure standing at the foot corner of my bed. This experience was repeated several times throughout my college years, always with the position of the entity slightly shifted, but always only one and I believe it to be the same entity throughout the series of experiences.
The most disturbing of these experiences, though is one that I remember in great detail and which only occurred about one and a half years ago. I had a dream, or at least I think it was a dream. In this dream, the house in which I was living at the time was shrouded in what I can only describe as a supernatural darkness. I can't see anything and am making my way through the house only by memory of the layout and through the sense of touch. I am not blind, the house is simply stripped of any light, including that from the usual, artificial sources such as the indicator lights on the cable modem in the room. Anyway, I make my way down the stairs and am yelling for my mother, I'm terrified, you see because I fear blindness because the next bit had not yet occurred. As I hit the bottom of the stairs, I can see light, very intense in comparison to the rest of the situation but mostly like that of a large fire, leaking in from around the edges of the blind in one of the windows. My mother is not answering but there is indication that my dog is about. Because of this I conclude that she must be out of the house, perhaps staying at one of her friend's homes where she would frequently spend the night. So, I make my way to the window and peel it back a little bit to peak out to see what is causing all the commotion. At this point I wake up and all is normal, so I presume that it was just an odd dream.
The next night, another "dream" hits. In this one, I am upstairs in the late evening, and decide to come down stairs to get a drink. I enter the kitchen and the lights are off, so I can see out the windows. I believe that I see something moving through the trees. I think it is some kind of wildlife, so I move closer to get a better look. What I see is disturbing. My mother is home, so I call her into the kitchen to look. What we see is unbelievable. Moving through the trees are several creatures. They are long and lank, and of very, very pale color. They are humanoid and if I had to put it into a human perspective, I would say that they moved like ballet dancers, with leaping, precise motions. They were making their way through the trees, toward the house and I distinctly remember feeling very threatened at this point. Ever the American, my instant plan was to go and get my shotgun. I told my mother to call someone while moving toward the stairs. She asked me who she should call, and I told her that it could be anybody, just let someone know what was happening. I got up stairs and grabbed the gun, and made my way to the drawer where the shells were kept and I distinctly remember planning out how I would load the weapon. Slug, shot, shot, slug, shot, slug. I opened the boxes and took out the appropriate shells and that is when I woke up.
Well, after two weird dream nights in a row, I decide to share the story with my mother in the "I've been having such bizarre dreams these last couple of nights" way. "Really? So have I. You go first." As I begin to tell her the story she stops me and starts to continue the story of both nights in the same way as my stories went, but from her perspective. Needless to say, we are both pretty frightened by this. I decided to check the window, first and sure enough, the blind is disturbed as if somebody had tried to pull it back and look out of it. It was in a storage room, and it would not be unusual for the window to remain undisturbed for days at a time. worried by this, I decide to go and look on the table of the chest of drawers where I keep the shotguns shells and again, there is the evidence, a pile of shells which correlated to my plan in the "dream." Unfortunately, with no children in the house and shooting be a common pastime for me, having ammunition in the open is not unusual, so of this I can't be sure of the significance.
Since this incident, the only odd thing I can think if is what I can only call an air of the extraterrestrial that has been following me around. I have had several friends who are not usually parcel to the supernatural tell me that they have gotten odd feelings about me and my life that they can't help but to think are somehow connected with aliens. One friend who is a martial arts practitioner actually met me at his door one night when I went to visit holding his katana and asking me if anything was wrong because he got the feeling that I was being followed, and that something not good was afoot.
I think that ends the short version of my current story. I am now married to a lovely girl, and I only hope that I have not dragged her into a world for which she is not prepared, but I hope that anything that happens from here on out will have a likely second source for information.

Thornton, Colorado 3 Bright Circular Flame Objects

Description: We were watching fireworks when we suddenly all 3 saw a bright circular flame high up in the sky to the east. It was flying fairly slowly and not in a straight line. Occasionally, it would extinguish and then re-appear a few seconds later. After flying around for about 3 minutes, it extinguished completely and a few seconds later, 3 of them appeared. I ran inside to grab my camera and by the time I got back out, 2 of them had vanished. I got a video of the last one for about 20 seconds before it went behind a tree and disappeared.
I just noticed there was an almost identical sighting in Michigan on the 4th (listed on this site) as well. If anyone who was there took any pictures or video, I would love to hear from you.

I looked back and there was an orange, glowing, round object moving slowly and silently. It was very distant but appeared very large. It would move, and then stop and hover. It repeated this about 3 times. It then stayed stationary, and stared moving away from us. It kept moving farther and farther away, and getting smaller and smaller until it was out of sight.
I'm not sure on the absolute directions (north, east, south, west).

Eugene, Oregon A Pizza Shaped UFO

Well, hello Mr. Vike. I listened to your radio program earlier tonight (first time) and felt encouraged enough that I decided to finally tell about an event that took place many years ago, in 1962, when I was ten years old. To my knowledge, no-one outside my immediate family except for my husband knows of this. The others in my family want to pretend nothing ever happened, even though we spent many hours talking about it in years long gone. School had just recently started back up, and my oldest sister (13 years old, 7th grade ) had to go to the library in town to research something for class. My mother had picked us all up when school let out and drove directly to there. We were inside, probably an hour or so. When we stepped out to the parking lot, there were about 8 to 13 people in various areas of the parking area, the sidewalk, and the bicycle rack, all looking up, some pointing.
We looked up and saw a small silver (or white, or light grey) pizza shaped craft in the air, not high up at all. Maybe 200 feet. (I climbed 200 foot Douglas Fir trees all the time back then, so I could judge the distance pretty well ). It made no noise, had no lights, no visible seams, no windows, no markings whatsoever. We watched for a few minutes and then got in our car and left. The day was clear blue sky, unlike an average day in that particular area of that particular state. From the library, we drove straight west about 4 miles, where we turned to go south 8 more miles to home.
Before we made that left turn to go south, we noticed the air-object-thing was also going west parallel to us. We turned left and so did it. It was pacing our car and at that time, we realized it had an interest in us. And so then we were all terrified. So much so, that my Mother let me sit on the open window of the back passenger door to watch and report on it. Normally, she wouldn't even let us have a window open. The car was a 1961 white Pontiac Tempest Station Wagon. (It was new, and so helps me to date this incident). My mother was driving, my 12 year old sister next to her in the front seat, and my 13 year old sister beside the passenger side window. (pecking order in full effect). In the back seat, behind mother, was my 9 year old brother. In the middle, my 7 year old brother, and in the rear, package compartment area was my youngest brother, 5. No seatbelts back then! I was clutching the little rain gutter above the outside of the door, my legs from the knees down inside the car and the rest of me outside.
The silver thing was nearly directly overhead at that point. We were about 4 miles from our house still. We had just cleared a fairly high hill and was on the downward side. Not one other car in site. The object was spookily silent and the more we slowed, the more it did, so I think that my mother, panicking, decided to speed up to get home before it "got us". But none of us knows from that point on. We don't remember getting home, don't remember the thing leaving, nothing. I haven't talked to anyone in my family for over ten years except for the one brother who is just a year younger than me. After 10 years, I finally talked to him last fall. I asked what he remembered and he said just that all us girls were really hysterically excited in the car that day. My mother had called the airport but learned nothing. She called the news or it was in the paper the next day, I don't clearly remember.
What was reported is that, some university kids had put a candle into a balloon, and that's what everyone saw! I was young, but not stupid and that explanation was ludicrous. My arms are clumsily numb, so please forgive my crude illustrations. The first picture, I tried to represent the tree-line that was about 50 feet off the western side of the paved highway. Most of the trees were second growth timber that averaged 150 to 200 feet tall. They were thick, and went back undisturbed by any houses for 4 miles or so. There weren't any houses on either side of the highway and none could be seen from there. The triangle shape was twice the height of the trees (at most) during that stretch of the road. It stayed towards "my side" of the car (western side) while still being up. It may have been 30 feet long on the sides and 15 across the back.( an isosceles triangle, I guess). The skinny point was aimed the same direction as our car. The sun was down low behind the trees, but with plenty of light. It hadn't started to get dark yet. No glares of light or anything. Well, that's it for now. I am afraid that something happened but I don't know what ! Sincerely. (name removed)

It started at the Eugene Public Library in Eugene, Oregon. It's a University town and the library was close to the whole University of Oregon complex. From the library, the street to head home on, is 11th Ave., which becomes West 11th headed towards Fern Ridge Dam and the small town of Veneta, Oregon. The Airport is also out there, and the speedway (race-track), to the North of W. 11th. When we turn to head South, I believe that piece of the road was called Bailey Hill Road (that's what we called it). And that's the name of the Hill we had to cross over.
(It was a high spot that we used to park on to see the fireworks-- but usually was too cloudy and rainy to see much). After the area where the "event" occurred, about 4 miles away from W. 11th, we meet up with Lorane Highway, and 4 miles further is where our house was. Where something (or nothing) happened, was only about 1/4 to 1/2 mile on the town side of our grade school, where we had been picked up from earlier, and had to pass by to get home. It's called Twin Oaks Elementary School. At that point, only my oldest sister went into town to school, to the middle school, which was Jefferson Jr. High.
We had just bought the station wagon that year, and we didn't have it long, because my mother, driving us home from the drive-in late, late at night, hit a deer and totaled it out. I don't think we had it but for a year , less than two. There were some odd things happen that may or not be connected with this encounter. The one that springs to mind right now took place in the woods about 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile behind our property. Me and my brothers were hiking/exploring (I was always the leader on our adventures). We came to an area that was a meadow like clearing in the forest. There was a waterfall coming "out of nowhere" that disappeared behind a seemingly new, chain link fence. That was unusual but what really interested us was an area of twisted metal and some skulls 5 to 7, I think,that lay there amongst them. It was clear there had been an old road there at one point, so a wreck was what we thought. However they weren't human skulls, so we told ourselves goats! But they didn't look anything like goat skulls, and closer to human.
Our place was a goat-farm prior to us buying it (in 1958) and there were a lot of goat skulls in a wooden enclosure down by our pasture. And our neighbor still had a goat herd, so we definitely knew what a goat skull looked like. There seemed to be at least two tangled vehicles in the crash, and it seemed like it had been there a long time. So the new-looking fence around that mysterious water falls was even more of a mystery. We got spooked out and left. We tried to re-find it years later but with no luck. By that time, I had convinced myself that it was some moonshiners who'd wrecked or had a shootout back there on that hidden road, sometime years earlier (30 or so). And maybe the "fake?" waterfall was part of a whiskey-still set-up. (I think that was my father's idea when we told him about it). I talked to brother #2 sometime around 1994, and he remembered the odd skulls and what he described as a wrecked flat bed truck. (This isn't the same brother that I talked to about the 1962 event-- that was bro.#1). while we were remembering (still trying to figure the oddities out, as adults) he mentioned a symbol that was "given" to him and really important to him. He assumed I had the same one, but when I didn't guess his the first time, he wouldn't tell me anymore. So, I don't know what he was talking about, although it seemed linked to this strange stuff. (I do have a mark that appeared suddenly. It looks like a birthmark, and isn't a scar, and is so faded it's nearly impossible to see now.) So, now you can see why I haven't shared this sort of stuff with anyone besides my kids and husband. Too Weird! Well, anyway, hope life is treating you good. Sincerely.

It's called Twin Oaks Elementary School. At that point, only my oldest sister went into town to school, to the middle school, which was Jefferson Jr. High.
We had just bought the station wagon that year, and we didn't have it long, because my mother, driving us home from the drive-in late, late at night, hit a deer and totaled it out. I don't think we had it but for a year , less than two. There were some odd things happen that may or not be connected with this encounter. The one that springs to mind right now took place in the woods about 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile behind our property. Me and my brothers were hiking/exploring (I was always the leader on our adventures). We came to an area that was a meadow like clearing in the forest. There was a waterfall coming "out of nowhere" that disappeared behind a seemingly new, chain link fence. That was unusual but what really interested us was an area of twisted metal and some skulls 5 to 7, I think,that lay there amongst them. It was clear there had been an old road there at one point, so a wreck was what we thought. However they weren't human skulls, so we told ourselves goats! But they didn't look anything like goat skulls, and closer to human.
Our place was a goat-farm prior to us buying it (in 1958) and there were a lot of goat skulls in a wooden enclosure down by our pasture. And our neighbor still had a goat herd, so we definitely knew what a goat skull looked like. There seemed to be at least two tangled vehicles in the crash, and it seemed like it had been there a long time. So the new-looking fence around that mysterious water falls was even more of a mystery. We got spooked out and left. We tried to re-find it years later but with no luck. By that time, I had convinced myself that it was some moonshiners who'd wrecked or had a shootout back there on that hidden road, sometime years earlier (30 or so). And maybe the "fake?" waterfall was part of a whiskey-still set-up. (I think that was my father's idea when we told him about it). I talked to brother #2 sometime around 1994, and he remembered the odd skulls and what he described as a wrecked flat bed truck. (This isn't the same brother that I talked to about the 1962 event-- that was bro.#1). while we were remembering (still trying to figure the oddities out, as adults) he mentioned a symbol that was "given" to him and really important to him. He assumed I had the same one, but when I didn't guess his the first time, he wouldn't tell me anymore. So, I don't know what he was talking about, although it seemed linked to this strange stuff. (I do have a mark that appeared suddenly. It looks like a birthmark, and isn't a scar, and is so faded it's nearly impossible to see now.) So, now you can see why I haven't shared this sort of stuff with anyone besides my kids and husband. Too Weird! Well, anyway, hope life is treating you good. Sincerely.

New York City 3 White Lights In A Diagonal Line

Shape of objects: 3 white lights in a diagonal line.
Weather Conditions: Slightly raining.
Description: My friend and I were driving home onto the Grand Central Parkway. I looked up and saw three lights in a diagonal line quite clearly. Although here were some fireworks and airplanes, this or these objects were there for a second and then gone. There were no trails or streams of lights, but in fact a
solid trio of lights that were there one second then gone the next. The driver said he saw the same thing.
What I saw was something like this pattern, three glowing lights.

They were very bright lights almost like the big dipper, but they were moving, almost like a snake and then they just disappeared. It was nothing any of us had ever seen before.

Excelsior, Minnesota Lights Moving In A Circular Pattern Around Object

Shape of objects: Not sure just saw lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: We went to Excelsior MN to watch fire works and had a great view sitting on the beach. The fire works had ended and we started to gather our belongings, when someone said look and they were pointing to the sky.
In the sky you could see objects that where flying south to north with four lights on each object. The lights appeared to be moving on the object in a circular motion. The color of lights would vary from Red, Blue, Green and White, but on each object the color of the light would always stay the same. If it was Red it would remain red. I believe there were about 30 objects that went past us. They just kept coming and coming. The objects would fly close together and in groups then just disappear. I can't believe planes can fly that close together and that many flying at a time. It was the strangest sighting I have ever seen. I grabbed my sister -in-law. It freaked us out.
We had a group of 14 people on the beach with us, but there where a lot of people around us, remember the fire works had just ended. Our group contained people from 45 to 2 years old, and even my 5 year old talks about this event.
I truly wish someone had a video camera to video this. I tried to take a picture but it turned out black.

Scranton, Pennsylvania An Orange Glowing Object

Hello, My name is (name removed). I came across your e-mail googling to see if people have seen the same UFO me, my girlfriend, and now my friend have.
Here is the story. It started about two weeks ago, me and my girlfriend went to the grocery store and on our way back we saw this orange glowing object by a rooftop.
We drover closer to see what it was and it started to come down in to the second floor windows of the house and went back up.. it started going farther and farther and moving really fast, so we followed it for a few minutes until it disappeared in the sky.
It was just gone.
We told our friends and you know how that goes. We didn't know what to believe, until tonight. Me, my girlfriend, and our friend were in a parking lot doing donuts with the car. We decided to leave and ended up going the wrong way. Out of nowhere my girlfriend screams "Baby!! Look, it's the UFO!" I immediately parked the car so our friend could see what we had just saw the other week.
It was the exact same thing. Orange. Glowing. Like it was a big fire ball. And it just chilled in the air for a while and then started going in no specific direction until it disappeared into the sky again! Now I know that me and my girlfriend are not the only ones. We are pretty big skeptics, trying to debunk everything we can. But there is just no explanation. So me and my girlfriend came home, goggled "orange glowing UFO" and found you, and your e-mail. We just do not want to feel alone in this at all. It's just a little nerve racking. What is going on?

UFO Crashes Into The California Desert (Audio Report)

Location of Sighting: Apple Valley, toward Barstow California.

Shape of objects: Either round and tilted or oval.
Below is the telephone interview I did with Tabatha over her fascinating sighting.

Full Description of event/sighting: I just got home and we looked up at the sky and saw a abnormally large oval or round shaped flying object. It was very shiny silver. Although it did not hover, it did crash. It fell straight down from the sky and burst into flames twice. Yet there is no evidence of a plane or helicopter crash. Shortly after our sighting, two or three local planes were out circling the area in which we saw the "UFO". When it fell it came in at a 45-degree angle then suddenly fell to a complete 180-degree drop. There was no sound and no movement caused from it. There is nothing out in the desert that even implies that an aircraft landed or crashed let along blew up twice. Please contact me ASAP. to either verify what I saw or if you may know what it could have been. Thank you.
Clip #1 - Tabatha was witness, along with her neighbor and another gentleman who was on the TV news to a UFO that came shooting down towards the ground, but before it crashed it seemed to drop straight down and onto the desert floor. The sighting took place in California. Another amazing experience. Location of Sighting: Traveling from east to west.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 5
Shape of objects: Red orbs.
Full Description of event/sighting: We saw one red object traveling over the trees and it kept approaching. It was a red orb that pulsed slightly, approached quickly and from what we could tell, silently. It disappeared behind a cloud just as it came directly overhead. But as we looked to the east again over the trees came another one. It followed the same path and disappeared as it traveled overhead towards the west in the direction of Whidbey Naval Station. Then another appeared and traveled the same path, no blinking lights were seen, it just pulsed. Then two more traveled together from the east, over our heads to the west. They were not very large. We could not hear any sound. About 30 minutes after we saw the objects, 5 jets, one at a time in intervals of about 5 or 10 minutes, traveled a similar route from east to west. I was a huge skeptic, but I don't know what that was.

Shape of objects: Square.
Full Description of event/sighting: July 4, 2008 10:35 Central Time
Large formation of square objects observed over Excelsior, MN moving from southern horizon to the north straight overhead. Objects had four white lights on each corner which gave the appearance that they were square shaped. Objects seemed to be very high in altitude, perhaps in Earths orbit. Some were in pairs or groups of 3 and 4 and would rapidly change position in their formation. Objects disappeared when they got directly overhead.
Altogether there were approximately 10 to 12 objects total. This event happened at 2235 local time and lasted about 5 minutes. This was after the July 4 fireworks show on the lake. There were thousands of people out there. We were on a boat and there were many witnesses. The fact that the objects were changing positions in their formation proves to me that they were not satellites. And they were not aircraft as I know them.
I am an airline pilot and amateur astronomer and feel that I know what is not normal in the sky. I have seen many strange things at night in the sky but have always been able to find an explanation. Not this time!

Altogether there were approximately 10 to 12 objects total. This event happened at 2235 local time and lasted about 5 minutes. This was after the July 4 fireworks show on the lake. There were thousands of people out there. We were on a boat and there were many witnesses. The fact that the objects were changing positions in their formation proves to me that they were not satellites. And they were not aircraft as I know them.
I am an airline pilot and amateur astronomer and feel that I know what is not normal in the sky. I have seen many strange things at night in the sky but have always been able to find an explanation. Not this time!

Katy, Texas Bright Light With Blue/Green Tail

Description: Very large (much larger than your average shooting star) bright light with bluish and greenish tail, fairly low, moving from south to north. I looked on several websites and have seen nothing about it although I don't know what sites to look up.
I just want to know what it was, can you help?

Full Description of event/sighting: I just got home and we looked up at the sky and saw a abnormally large oval or round shaped flying object. It was very shiny silver. Although it did not hover, it did crash. It fell straight down from the sky and burst into flames twice. Yet there is no evidence of a plane or helicopter crash. Shortly after our sighting, two or three local planes were out circling the area in which we saw the "UFO". When it fell it came in at a 45-degree angle then suddenly fell to a complete 180-degree drop. there was no sound and no movement caused from it. There is nothing out in the desert that even implies that an aircraft landed or crashed let along blew up twice. Please contact me ASAP. to either verify what I saw or if you may know what it could have been. Thank you.

Corunna, Ontario UFOs Zig Zagging Across The Sky
Date: Multiple dates.
Time: From early evening to late at night.
Location of Sighting: my back yard
Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of objects: Usually white ball, 1 rounded cigar shape that looks like it goes inward towards the front, sorta like a rounded bugs body with a head (there were no wings and it they all were silent).
Full Description of event/sighting: I have been bothered for a couple of years now because both my husband and I see these white objects that zigzag across the sky. We see them at least once a week.
The night time balls of light: The ones we see at night are just a white ball of light. We do have a lot of air traffic, so we know what the planes and helicopters look like. We also know what the satellites look like. The ball of lights are too low to be a satellites and too high to be a plane, but they must be huge to be that bright. We see them flying different directions, and they fly fast, slow, zig zag, change direction, and eventually, they all have accelerate and just zip upward and disappears.
The scariest one was, I spotted a particularly low, large white light. I told my husband to check it out. We both walked out into the driveway and it was flying from our right to left, very slowly. I started to tease my husband and say I was going to invite them, and I got out my lighter and started flicking it towards it, like they do at a concert, and I was saying, "come here". I no sooner said that when this thing turned and started heading right for us. We both freaked out and ran back to our back stoop. We kept an eye on it. It sorta stopped and then all of a sudden, it shot up and away from us and disappeared. That happened in the fall of 2007.
Now the one that we saw in daylight, early evening, happened in May of 2008. Our friends were leaving our house so we were standing outside their car, and my husband looked up and spotted this wingless, shiny, oval thing with sort of a "head" to it, flying from our right to left. Our friends saw it too. They are skeptics and were saying, it's just a plane. We said, look, there are no wings, and there is no sound. As soon as we said that, this thing started accelerating, then shot up and away. Needless to say, our friends could not explain that one.
We have seen the white ball type flying low at dusk, at a friends house. We were all on their front porch, and watched a low flying one zig zagging across, the accelerating and shooting upwards till it disappeared. They live in the same town as us, not far.
I just wonder if anyone from anywhere sees these things. One bit of info for you. We live near a lot of plants and refineries. Sometimes the stacks at the refineries have flares that could light up the sky. Do you think that maybe whatever is out there is interested in what those flares are and maybe that's why I see so many around here?

Description: I was sitting outside our home with my father and a neighbor. My father and the guy were talking and I was listening to the story. I remember very well what they were talking about. I have always been curious about how stars are positioned in the firmament, so every now and then I would look up while listening to the story. Then I saw the thing. It was fast moving and a beacon like light was coming out of the oblos: first from one then from another as the thing flew and rotated on itself. Then after about 50 metres it disappeared!While this was happening I looked at dad and the guy who momentarily looked up,I was expecting some reaction from them, but they went on talking and I understood that they hadn't seen it!
At the same time I had a dejavu feeling. Sometime it comes in to my mind this episode that I cannot understand.Intelligence makes me think it didn't happen, but it has happened. It still leaves me wondering.
TV/Radio: I don't think it was reported. The old man been illiterate probably, even if he saw it, he might not given any importance. But I still think I was the only one to notice. There was a few people sitting outside their doors to enjoy the cool of that summer night.

I wish I could remember the date. It was in the 90s, and I was in bed listening to music radio up in Williams Lake, B.C. All of the sudden the whole dark sky lit up with a bright white light, which then changed colours. I don't remember the order, but it turned green, blue, yellow, and orange. There was a loud boom that accompanied it, I believe beforehand, but it could have been afterwards. I immediately turned my radio on to Coast 2 Coast AM and heard at least a dozen other witnesses to the incident, most from Washington state. One was a pilot who saw something in front of his plane and almost crashed into a building, one was a trucker driving down the road and saw an object crash to the earth. They believed it was a meteor, but the trucker insisted the landing area was government property used to test military stuff?
The next day I tried to do some research to see what I could find information wise, but there was nothing anywhere. I never heard about it again.
If anyone has any information, I would be thrilled to learn more. It was an incredible experience for me.

Telkwa, British Columbia UFO Zig Zags And Jets Looking In A Search Pattern

Message: Brian, My daughter says she saw a star-like object over Telkwa a couple of weeks ago. It traveled across and then went in an up and down zigzag pattern. Approx 4-5 hrs later about 4 or more jets were in the sky flying around as if in a search pattern.

Vernon, British Columbia Cylinders

Hi Brian, here are some pictures of cylinders in the skies here in Vernon. The pictures have the dates attached, and all were taken in late June 2008. Most are hard to see, but were unmistakable. Those that were not simply hovering, flew unlike what I would have expected. They seemed to be moving sideways, (at least what I would call sideways), not end to end. But the majority were hovering, motionless. Some were the size of transport trucks, or larger, and hovered extremely high, where as some appeared to be quite a bit smaller, like a probe, or massive bird.
Anyhow, judge for yourself, but pictures can never really depict 1st hand sighting.

I though at first it appeared to be a parachute as it just dropped suddenly. However when it got near to the ground all 7 objects just disappeared! I can't tell whether the objects zoomed off at exceptional speeds or just faded away.

I started viewing the object and it appeared to be moving faster than the average plane. I could not tell the shape, how far way it was or how high up it was because of the darkness.
The object drifted across the sky and went behind some other buildings and then starting going in away for a few seconds. Then it stopped and started going the other way until I couldn't see it anymore from my view..
It was definitely not a plane as they wouldn't change directions like that, possibly a helicopter. But it didn't make any noise and I don't know what a helicopter would be doing in the area at that time of night

Description: Round like balloon shapes, looked like they had flame inside a balloon, they were all orange, they came from the south and went north in a sweeping formation, they were too fast for aircraft and no noise, they followed each other and sweeped past us over Cleeve hill, my wife, daughter and mother-in-law, thought it was some kind of joke, but it lasted about 1/2 minutes and it got more scary as they all followed each other, I can only think the color was like looking at a hot air balloon when it fires the gas, but they were quite small and glowing, I have never seen anything like this nor can think of anything that it/they may have been. Does anybody have a rationale explanation, and more importantly it was witnessed by several members of the family.

Northeast Edmonton, Alberta A Light Flashing In The Sky

Full Description of event/sighting: I saw a light flashing in the sky that was much bigger and brighter than a star or an airplane. It was a bright white light and about the diameter of a pencil eraser when holding a pencil at arms length. The light flashed only approx: every 3 to 4 seconds apart, which made it a bit difficult to follow through my binoculars. The object traveled approx: 4" relatively speaking, in distance between flashes. I followed it for approx 1/2 minute, until it stopped flashing. It traveled from a southeast to a north, northwest direction. I can not say how far away this light was, but it was clearly visible with the naked eye.
Today I was visiting my son and his family. They live in St Albert, which is north west of Edmonton. He and his wife also saw the same light last night. Strange that we all saw this same light.

South Fraser Way In Surrey, British Columbia UFO With Red Lights Hovering

Hi there Brian, I can't believe what I saw, me and my kids were driving alone South Fraser Way in Surrey at 10:00pm. My daughter said Mom, what is that in the sky. When I looked I could see a star and then right beside it and 100 times bigger and so close to us, there was this bright object with red lights all around it hovering above the tree line. I could believe what I saw. I pulled off to the side of the road and we just sat there watching it for about 1 min. As we sat there I tried to rationalize what I was looking at, I couldn't. We started driving again, turning a corner and I had to pull over again and watch it. It was just hovering there not moving side to side and not moving up or down just moving in a slight hum of a circle. As we sat there for 30 seconds this time it went from being big to shrinking to a pinpoint and then disappearing in all of about 1 second. I can't rationalize anything from this world that it would be. I am so blessed and so lucky and so are the three children, two of my own that where in the car at the time. I told them that people are likely to not believe us but if we are ever in doubt to talk to each other about what we all saw and make sure we all remember because we may never be so lucky in life to see it again.

They changed direction frequently as well. They were not birds, as they were moving in and out of the clouds, so they must have been much bigger objects for me to have seen them. They could not have been helicopters as they moved too quickly and changed direction a lot - they moved up, down, left and right, forwards and backwards. By the time I got my binoculars out, they had disappeared.

It appeared as a small bright light in the far distance and then suddenly disappeared. We took a seconds of video on a mobile phone but this gave a very pixilated image.

Parkland Region, Manitoba Intense Unknown Light Engulfs Entire Area

Hi Brian, I was at the lake for a few days. Yep, same one. I had my father come out from Saskatchewan for a visit there so it was set to be a enjoyable weekend of showing the sights.
I had been sitting at the fire for most of the evening...and by 11:00 pm everyone else had long gone to bed. I was sitting by the embers of the night's fire by the lake. It was about 2:00 am. The sky was clear and the stars were all very easy to see, there was no wind.
I was getting set to soon head in for the night to sleep. I was drinking a bottled water as I stood there and looked at the dying fire. Suddenly the area I was in, lit right up. It was a very intense bright white light and it seemed to be focused on my surrounding area. My heart started to race very quickly as this usually means some strange craft is above, or some very strange thing is going on.
I began to search all around, looking in all directions for the source of the light including upwards and all over. I could not see any source at all. The stars were still in view for where I looked and there was no source for this light from above or any direction. The area I was in, lit up for about 5 or 6 seconds.
As I was surrounded by this light. Everything, every leaf, every twig and every single thing was lit up with this very bright white light. It made everything more clear than it would be in sunlight. I could see the clarity to all of it, like everything was very high definition. My heart was racing as I tried to make sense of what was happening. My senses were very heightened as the few seconds past and I was ready for whatever was to happen. Then the light just stopped and then I was left standing in the dark with wilderness all around me.
I stayed outside for 15 more minutes trying to make sense of what I had just has happen. The light very much reminded me of the spotlight that had come from the elongated diamond craft that I have encountered in the past. I do have a video camera, but it seems that for recent events things happen far to quickly for me to even get the camera turned on.
I will also mention, the night before (Friday night) was cloudy and light rain, yet the clouds were all lit up. I took it as it being due to the moon. I found out the following night there was no moon at all and for the light that I was seeing behind the clouds. I was positive that we were in the full moon phase. I was very confused after I realized that the moon was not in any phase that allowed it to be seen.
Brian, it seems there is no slowing for events taking place at the lake, if anything things seems to be getting weirder and weirder.

Coeur d' Alene, Idaho Witnesses Also Observe Vancouver, B.C. UFO

Time: Around midnight.
Hi Brian, I just wanted to tell you, re: the Vancouver sighting. We saw it too here in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. We were sitting outside (it was right around midnight). I was talking to my friend about navigation by the stars and we were looking at a planet. I looked away and my friend said "what is that!" I looked back up and the object was next to the planet. It was round and bright. It stayed there for about 15 seconds then it took off leaving about a (visual) 3 inch long trail that was as wide as the object and narrowed down to a point. I'm glad we were not the only one's to see it! My friend has never seen anything strange in the sky before and he is having trouble processing what he saw. If that person in Vancouver does have it on video and you get it we would sure like to be able to look at it. If you post it somewhere could you let us know? Thanks

Kokomo, Indiana UFO Or Aircraft ?

Hey Brian, last night I was going to work at about 10:10pm E.S.T. I saw these lights hovering on the left side of the road (I was heading south). Normally I bring my video camera with me but I didn't this time! What appeared to be a plane I don't know. As I was traveling south it seemed just to stay there stationary because as I was traveling south towards it, the object just stayed. I thought this was quite odd. What makes me think that it could of been a plane is that on the left side was a red light and on the right was a blue light none of which were blinking! And no other lights were present. As I passed it, the object was still stationary. So I don't know what it was, a plane or an UFO? Just thought I would share this with you.. Thanks. This was Sunday, June 29th, 2008.

Elworth, Sandbach, Cheshire, U.K. Fast Moving Star Like Object

Location of Sighting: Elworth (Sandbach) Home.

Shape of objects: Round star-like.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing in the garden having a cigarette with my partner, we had been intrigued by the recently reported sightings by police helicopter and also the doctor in Wales last week. As we stared at the stars in the night sky, they seemed dazzlingly bright, when I noticed something catch my eye to the left. As I looked to the left, I saw (to my amazement) what I can only describe as a flying star high in the sky heading in the direction of Manchester. We have many airplanes flying over our house because its a Manchester airport flight path. But planes we see are very low and loud with red and green lights flashing on them, very noisy like thunder almost. This object was moving very fast in comparison, and especially as it was very high in the night sky. It never changed color, or dimmed, and it stayed bright white and constant, it's speed about 3 times faster than any aircraft I've seen before. Next time I shall attempt to video any sighting for proof. Cheshire(Sandbach).

North Surrey, British Columbia Jelly Bean Shaped UFO

Time: Approx: 2:10 p.m.
Hi Brian, I was sitting out on my deck enjoying the day before the sun comes around and makes it unbearable. I noticed what appeared to be black spots flying circles around and around a slightly larger black object shaped sort of like a jelly bean with a hole in it. I at first just assumed they were spots in or on my eyes and tried to control their movement by moving my eyes around but this had no effect on them. After about twenty seconds the three smaller objects took off east over the roof of my building and a few seconds later the larger jelly bean object took off in a straight line north and vanished behind the North Shore Mountains. I tried using paint to show you what they looked like, magnified by about five.

Full Description of event/sighting: A friend and I were standing on my front deck admiring the sky. Then she said look and the hole sky lit up and so did our surroundings. It was the largest comet or what ever we had ever seen. The width of the tail was as wide as my thumb is tall. This was no little streak. Both of us have be looking online and on the news from the moment we saw it thinking how could anybody else not have seen it. Sorry, I did curse about not having my camera on hand.

There were quite a few stars but one star sitting in the sky in the west caught our attention for some odd reason. It appeared to be like one of the brightest stars in the sky and was as large as the brightest stars in the sky. Then after roughly 5 minutes it suddenly moved north in a straight line and then disappeared rather quickly.

Over South Coast Of Dorset England, U.K. UFO Sightings

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst star gazing on quite a few occasions lately I have witnessed flashes similar to flash bulbs-very intense and of similar duration to flash photography bulbs, only at heights akin to aircraft or possibly even higher like satellites. Have noticed satellite type "stars" which do not have a constant track. As a young boy I once saw with my father two "star-like" objects in close formation zig zagging from north to south. My father said they were weather balloons. At the age of 15 a school friend and I saw in broad daylight a 2' diameter disc float from rooftop height up to about 2000' where it disappeared in cloud .What struck us was that if a hoax fashioned from tinfoil, why didn't it look "crinkly"? This object was smooth and apparently originating fro over the roof of what looked to be an elderly persons' bungalow residence, an unlikely source of hoaxer activity.
When sitting in my car having just finished a piano tuning about 12 years ago in the afternoon during an overcast day I saw a light in the sky of about car headlight intensity. I looked behind me in the rear window to take note of any vehicles with lights on which may be causing reflections and there were none. On reviewing the object it was still static as I moved my head around, whilst still training my eyes on it, the object suddenly accelerated away to the west, leaving a streak of light (not unlike in the credits of Star Trek!), which faded to nothing.
My mother and I witnessed a bright red/pink spark way out over Poole Bay shooting at incredible speed shoot from south to north (inland) then back again from whence it came. As someone with aircraft experience (my father and brother are/were pilots) I can honestly estimate the speed of this low flying object at well in excess of mach 1 or two even, more like mach twenty! Hope you can help reveal the truth even if some or all these events are down meteorological phenomena. These events sum up most of my memorable sightings of unknowns.

Full Description of event/sighting: My buddy and I were driving home and I noticed an extremely bright light on the horizon that couldn't have been a star. We parked and looked at this object and it seemed to have jumped back and forth over a relatively large distance. It was getting closer to us so we turned back on the street and went towards it. As we got what I would say was 2 blocks away we were under it. The bright light that we originally saw faded away and we could see probably 6 or 7 lights in the shape of a triangle. The object was really low and was HUGE. We freaked out and stopped again, and it changed direction. We followed it as much as we could but the road ended, and it seemed like it continued to get lower until it went under a tree-line and past a hill. It was a UFO there is no other way it was anything else.

La Chapelle Neuve, Morbihan, Bretagne, France Black Triangular UFO

Weather Conditions: Clear conditions, excellent visibility.
Description: During a telephone call I looked out into my garden and in the distance I saw an unusual object in the sky. South east of my location, at a distance of +15 miles, the object was triangular in profile, dark in colour, no flashing lights. The craft moved slowly to the left (east)and began to rise. The object appeared to be at a strange angle of projection. I am not a trained aircraft spotter, but have had an interest in aviation since I was a kid, and am up to
date with current commercial and military craft..this was neither.
My sighting was brief as i ran to get my camera and upon return it was gone. There was however a streak (momentarily) across the sky as I looked for the craft through my lens, like a metallic contrail. I am sure others will have seen this event as it appears to have been very close to the city of Vannes, and it is full of tourists at the moment. Thanks.

Hodge Hill, Birmingham U.K. Frisbee Shaped UFOs

Shape of objects: Like Frisbees, glowing on the top, dark circle area underneath.
Weather Conditions: Raining,very cloudy, pre-storm.
Description: I had gone outside to enjoy the heavy rain this evening. Was stood looking southwards at the sky and I saw a bright white object move behind trees. I waited to see what it was and saw... a disc like object which was bright white on top and with a dark circle on the underside. This object was moving silently towards the approx East/ North East and rocking gently from side to side.
This continued in the same direction and was followed after about a minute by another object which was of the same appearance. They continued out of sight. My husband and daughter came out when I called them and as we were unable to take photos we hope that we were not the only people to have seen these.
TV/Radio: We rang both Central TV and Birmingham Evening Mail but they told us if we didn't have photos they would not be able to report the sightings. We have asked for information from the Evening Mail if any further sightings are reported.

Full Description of event/sighting: Definitely wasn't fireworks. At first we thought it may be a plane or helicopter on fire. But it was too round. It was bright orange and red. It quickly dropped it's altitude and then just disappeared. Really weird. Also, 10 years ago at Finch and Weston, over the Humber River, there was a circle of red lights in the sky that just hovered. It stayed for about 5 minutes and then just dropped to the ground. Here there were 3 witnesses.

Blackpool, Lancashire Bright Light

Hey, I'm from Blackpool, Lancashire early this morning on the 2nd of July, I was looking out of my window at ten to four. I saw one bright light not moving in a solid direction it appeared to be phasing about up and down side to side (heading in a westerly direction towards the sea), I also saw what at first appeared to be two stars that close to the object in the sky (on a much bigger scale, I realized that it wasn't two stars but it was 3 forming triangle, this was spinning slowly anticlockwise, really freaked me out. later I saw flashes in the sky in the area I had seen the light 5 mins before, there seemed to be quite alot of activity. just wondering if anybody else saw anything. cheers.

Weather Conditions: Clear skies..with very few cumulus clouds.
Description: Traveling from East to West at high speed, smoky green in colour, leaving a greenish trail about 20 times the length of the object. No sound, it was a disc shape but could have had a hollow centre. It looked a bit like a ring dough- nut. Not a shooting star or meteorite. I have seen plenty to know the
difference. It was about the size of a full moon, so if it was high up then it would have been big. Anybody else see it. Sighting lasted approximately 3 seconds.

Corunna, Ontario UFOs Zig Zagging Across The Sky
Date: Multiple dates.
Time: From early evening to late at night.
Location of Sighting: my back yard

Shape of objects: Usually white ball, 1 rounded cigar shape that looks like it goes inward towards the front, sorta like a rounded bugs body with a head (there were no wings and it they all were silent).
Full Description of event/sighting: I have been bothered for a couple of years now because both my husband and I see these white objects that zigzag across the sky. We see them at least once a week.
The night time balls of light: The ones we see at night are just a white ball of light. We do have a lot of air traffic, so we know what the planes and helicopters look like. We also know what the satellites look like. The ball of lights are too low to be a satellites and too high to be a plane, but they must be huge to be that bright. We see them flying different directions, and they fly fast, slow, zig zag, change direction, and eventually, they all have accelerate and just zip upward and disappears.
The scariest one was, I spotted a particularly low, large white light. I told my husband to check it out. We both walked out into the driveway and it was flying from our right to left, very slowly. I started to tease my husband and say I was going to invite them, and I got out my lighter and started flicking it towards it, like they do at a concert, and I was saying, "come here". I no sooner said that when this thing turned and started heading right for us. We both freaked out and ran back to our back stoop. We kept an eye on it. It sorta stopped and then all of a sudden, it shot up and away from us and disappeared. That happened in the fall of 2007.
Now the one that we saw in daylight, early evening, happened in May of 2008. Our friends were leaving our house so we were standing outside their car, and my husband looked up and spotted this wingless, shiny, oval thing with sort of a "head" to it, flying from our right to left. Our friends saw it too. They are skeptics and were saying, it's just a plane. We said, look, there are no wings, and there is no sound. As soon as we said that, this thing started accelerating, then shot up and away. Needless to say, our friends could not explain that one.
We have seen the white ball type flying low at dusk, at a friends house. We were all on their front porch, and watched a low flying one zig zagging across, the accelerating and shooting upwards till it disappeared. They live in the same town as us, not far.
I just wonder if anyone from anywhere sees these things. One bit of info for you. We live near a lot of plants and refineries. Sometimes the stacks at the refineries have flares that could light up the sky. Do you think that maybe whatever is out there is interested in what those flares are and maybe that's why I see so many around here?

Description: I was sitting outside our home with my father and a neighbor. My father and the guy were talking and I was listening to the story. I remember very well what they were talking about. I have always been curious about how stars are positioned in the firmament, so every now and then I would look up while listening to the story. Then I saw the thing. It was fast moving and a beacon like light was coming out of the oblos: first from one then from another as the thing flew and rotated on itself. Then after about 50 metres it disappeared!While this was happening I looked at dad and the guy who momentarily looked up,I was expecting some reaction from them, but they went on talking and I understood that they hadn't seen it!
At the same time I had a dejavu feeling. Sometime it comes in to my mind this episode that I cannot understand.Intelligence makes me think it didn't happen, but it has happened. It still leaves me wondering.
TV/Radio: I don't think it was reported. The old man been illiterate probably, even if he saw it, he might not given any importance. But I still think I was the only one to notice. There was a few people sitting outside their doors to enjoy the cool of that summer night.

Williams Lake, British Columbia Sky Lit Up And Loud Boom

I wish I could remember the date. It was in the 90s, and I was in bed listening to music radio up in Williams Lake, B.C. All of the sudden the whole dark sky lit up with a bright white light, which then changed colours. I don't remember the order, but it turned green, blue, yellow, and orange. There was a loud boom that accompanied it, I believe beforehand, but it could have been afterwards. I immediately turned my radio on to Coast 2 Coast AM and heard at least a dozen other witnesses to the incident, most from Washington state. One was a pilot who saw something in front of his plane and almost crashed into a building, one was a trucker driving down the road and saw an object crash to the earth. They believed it was a meteor, but the trucker insisted the landing area was government property used to test military stuff?
The next day I tried to do some research to see what I could find information wise, but there was nothing anywhere. I never heard about it again.
If anyone has any information, I would be thrilled to learn more. It was an incredible experience for me.

Telkwa, British Columbia UFO Zig Zags And Jets Looking In A Search Pattern

Message: Brian, My daughter says she saw a star-like object over Telkwa a couple of weeks ago. It traveled across and then went in an up and down zigzag pattern. Approx 4-5 hrs later about 4 or more jets were in the sky flying around as if in a search pattern.

Vernon, British Columbia Cylinders

Time: Daytime sighting.
Hi Brian, here are some pictures of cylinders in the skies here in Vernon. The pictures have the dates attached, and all were taken in late June 2008. Most are hard to see, but were unmistakable. Those that were not simply hovering, flew unlike what I would have expected. They seemed to be moving sideways, (at least what I would call sideways), not end to end. But the majority were hovering, motionless. Some were the size of transport trucks, or larger, and hovered extremely high, where as some appeared to be quite a bit smaller, like a probe, or massive bird.
Anyhow, judge for yourself, but pictures can never really depict 1st hand sighting.

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst driving to visit my cousin along some back roads I saw in the sky what I can describe as 7 flames. I stopped the car and watched them move across from left to right rising up in to the sky. They were moving fast, when suddenly one dropped quickly, as if coming to land. I though at first it appeared to be a parachute as it just dropped suddenly. However when it got near to the ground all 7 objects just disappeared! I can't tell whether the objects zoomed off at exceptional speeds or just faded away.

North London, U.K. Green Colored UFO

Description: While watching TV in my room when I saw a greenish light in the sky through my window. I thought it was a bit odd because I don't usually see bright green lights on planes, it might have been flashing a bit
I started viewing the object and it appeared to be moving faster than the average plane. I could not tell the shape, how far way it was or how high up it was because of the darkness.
The object drifted across the sky and went behind some other buildings and then starting going in away for a few seconds. Then it stopped and started going the other way until I couldn't see it anymore from my view..
It was definitely not a plane as they wouldn't change directions like that, possibly a helicopter. But it didn't make any noise and I don't know what a helicopter would be doing in the area at that time of night

Cheltenham - North of Cheltenham Racecourse Round Balloon Shaped Objects

Shape of objects: Round like balloon shapes, with orange in them, they just looked like lit up balloons and flimsy but moved very quickly.
Weather Conditions: Dry, windy, cloudy, some clear skies.
Description: Round like balloon shapes, looked like they had flame inside a balloon, they were all orange, they came from the south and went north in a sweeping formation, they were too fast for aircraft and no noise, they followed each other and sweeped past us over Cleeve hill, my wife, daughter and mother-in-law, thought it was some kind of joke, but it lasted about 1/2 minutes and it got more scary as they all followed each other, I can only think the color was like looking at a hot air balloon when it fires the gas, but they were quite small and glowing, I have never seen anything like this nor can think of anything that it/they may have been. Does anybody have a rationale explanation, and more importantly it was witnessed by several members of the family.

Northeast Edmonton, Alberta A Light Flashing In The Sky

Time: Between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Northeast Edmonton, looking north.

Full Description of event/sighting: I saw a light flashing in the sky that was much bigger and brighter than a star or an airplane. It was a bright white light and about the diameter of a pencil eraser when holding a pencil at arms length. The light flashed only approx: every 3 to 4 seconds apart, which made it a bit difficult to follow through my binoculars. The object traveled approx: 4" relatively speaking, in distance between flashes. I followed it for approx 1/2 minute, until it stopped flashing. It traveled from a southeast to a north, northwest direction. I can not say how far away this light was, but it was clearly visible with the naked eye.
Today I was visiting my son and his family. They live in St Albert, which is north west of Edmonton. He and his wife also saw the same light last night. Strange that we all saw this same light.

South Fraser Way In Surrey, British Columbia UFO With Red Lights Hovering

Hi there Brian, I can't believe what I saw, me and my kids were driving alone South Fraser Way in Surrey at 10:00pm. My daughter said Mom, what is that in the sky. When I looked I could see a star and then right beside it and 100 times bigger and so close to us, there was this bright object with red lights all around it hovering above the tree line. I could believe what I saw. I pulled off to the side of the road and we just sat there watching it for about 1 min. As we sat there I tried to rationalize what I was looking at, I couldn't. We started driving again, turning a corner and I had to pull over again and watch it. It was just hovering there not moving side to side and not moving up or down just moving in a slight hum of a circle. As we sat there for 30 seconds this time it went from being big to shrinking to a pinpoint and then disappearing in all of about 1 second. I can't rationalize anything from this world that it would be. I am so blessed and so lucky and so are the three children, two of my own that where in the car at the time. I told them that people are likely to not believe us but if we are ever in doubt to talk to each other about what we all saw and make sure we all remember because we may never be so lucky in life to see it again.

Dundee Scotland Two Shiny Unknown Objects

Shape of objects: Round as far as I could tell.
Weather Conditions: Bright and sunny with a few clouds.
Description: I saw two shiny objects moving in and out of clouds and following each other. They would hover for a few seconds then move around a bit and slow down and speed up. They changed direction frequently as well. They were not birds, as they were moving in and out of the clouds, so they must have been much bigger objects for me to have seen them. They could not have been helicopters as they moved too quickly and changed direction a lot - they moved up, down, left and right, forwards and backwards. By the time I got my binoculars out, they had disappeared.

Halesowen, West Midlands, UK Object Looked Like It Was On Fire

Description: After hearing what sounded like a low pitched, high flying jet, we looked up to see what we originally thought to be an aircraft on fire. It was moving in a West - East direction and seemed to be moving faster than a commercial airliner. It moved quickly away from us without a contrail and it appeared to remain at the same height. It appeared as a small bright light in the far distance and then suddenly disappeared. We took a seconds of video on a mobile phone but this gave a very pixilated image.

Description: We saw 8 Amber lights that appeared to be about a mile high and approx 8 miles from our location travel from around the Chicksands area to Henlow the lights were visible for about 10 - 15 minutes demising 1 by 1 whilst they were hovering over the Henlow area.

They could be but I tried to take 2 pictures of the sighting 1 of the pictures didn't capture anything whilst the second turned out bright orange with no explanation as they would have been tiny from where I was. I have only just put them on my computer. I have added them to my attachments for you viewing these were taken within a minute of each other.

Parkland Region, Manitoba Intense Unknown Light Engulfs Entire Area

Hi Brian, I was at the lake for a few days. Yep, same one. I had my father come out from Saskatchewan for a visit there so it was set to be a enjoyable weekend of showing the sights.
I had been sitting at the fire for most of the evening...and by 11:00 pm everyone else had long gone to bed. I was sitting by the embers of the night's fire by the lake. It was about 2:00 am. The sky was clear and the stars were all very easy to see, there was no wind.
I was getting set to soon head in for the night to sleep. I was drinking a bottled water as I stood there and looked at the dying fire. Suddenly the area I was in, lit right up. It was a very intense bright white light and it seemed to be focused on my surrounding area. My heart started to race very quickly as this usually means some strange craft is above, or some very strange thing is going on.
I began to search all around, looking in all directions for the source of the light including upwards and all over. I could not see any source at all. The stars were still in view for where I looked and there was no source for this light from above or any direction. The area I was in, lit up for about 5 or 6 seconds.
As I was surrounded by this light. Everything, every leaf, every twig and every single thing was lit up with this very bright white light. It made everything more clear than it would be in sunlight. I could see the clarity to all of it, like everything was very high definition. My heart was racing as I tried to make sense of what was happening. My senses were very heightened as the few seconds past and I was ready for whatever was to happen. Then the light just stopped and then I was left standing in the dark with wilderness all around me.
I stayed outside for 15 more minutes trying to make sense of what I had just has happen. The light very much reminded me of the spotlight that had come from the elongated diamond craft that I have encountered in the past. I do have a video camera, but it seems that for recent events things happen far to quickly for me to even get the camera turned on.
I will also mention, the night before (Friday night) was cloudy and light rain, yet the clouds were all lit up. I took it as it being due to the moon. I found out the following night there was no moon at all and for the light that I was seeing behind the clouds. I was positive that we were in the full moon phase. I was very confused after I realized that the moon was not in any phase that allowed it to be seen.
Brian, it seems there is no slowing for events taking place at the lake, if anything things seems to be getting weirder and weirder.

Coeur d' Alene, Idaho Witnesses Also Observe Vancouver, B.C. UFO

Hi Brian, I just wanted to tell you, re: the Vancouver sighting. We saw it too here in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. We were sitting outside (it was right around midnight). I was talking to my friend about navigation by the stars and we were looking at a planet. I looked away and my friend said "what is that!" I looked back up and the object was next to the planet. It was round and bright. It stayed there for about 15 seconds then it took off leaving about a (visual) 3 inch long trail that was as wide as the object and narrowed down to a point. I'm glad we were not the only one's to see it! My friend has never seen anything strange in the sky before and he is having trouble processing what he saw. If that person in Vancouver does have it on video and you get it we would sure like to be able to look at it. If you post it somewhere could you let us know? Thanks

Kokomo, Indiana UFO Or Aircraft ?

Hey Brian, last night I was going to work at about 10:10pm E.S.T. I saw these lights hovering on the left side of the road (I was heading south). Normally I bring my video camera with me but I didn't this time! What appeared to be a plane I don't know. As I was traveling south it seemed just to stay there stationary because as I was traveling south towards it, the object just stayed. I thought this was quite odd. What makes me think that it could of been a plane is that on the left side was a red light and on the right was a blue light none of which were blinking! And no other lights were present. As I passed it, the object was still stationary. So I don't know what it was, a plane or an UFO? Just thought I would share this with you.. Thanks. This was Sunday, June 29th, 2008.

Elworth, Sandbach, Cheshire, U.K. Fast Moving Star Like Object

Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing in the garden having a cigarette with my partner, we had been intrigued by the recently reported sightings by police helicopter and also the doctor in Wales last week. As we stared at the stars in the night sky, they seemed dazzlingly bright, when I noticed something catch my eye to the left. As I looked to the left, I saw (to my amazement) what I can only describe as a flying star high in the sky heading in the direction of Manchester. We have many airplanes flying over our house because its a Manchester airport flight path. But planes we see are very low and loud with red and green lights flashing on them, very noisy like thunder almost. This object was moving very fast in comparison, and especially as it was very high in the night sky. It never changed color, or dimmed, and it stayed bright white and constant, it's speed about 3 times faster than any aircraft I've seen before. Next time I shall attempt to video any sighting for proof. Cheshire(Sandbach).

North Surrey, British Columbia Jelly Bean Shaped UFO

Time: Approx: 2:10 p.m.
Hi Brian, I was sitting out on my deck enjoying the day before the sun comes around and makes it unbearable. I noticed what appeared to be black spots flying circles around and around a slightly larger black object shaped sort of like a jelly bean with a hole in it. I at first just assumed they were spots in or on my eyes and tried to control their movement by moving my eyes around but this had no effect on them. After about twenty seconds the three smaller objects took off east over the roof of my building and a few seconds later the larger jelly bean object took off in a straight line north and vanished behind the North Shore Mountains. I tried using paint to show you what they looked like, magnified by about five.

Full Description of event/sighting: A friend and I were standing on my front deck admiring the sky. Then she said look and the hole sky lit up and so did our surroundings. It was the largest comet or what ever we had ever seen. The width of the tail was as wide as my thumb is tall. This was no little streak. Both of us have be looking online and on the news from the moment we saw it thinking how could anybody else not have seen it. Sorry, I did curse about not having my camera on hand.

West Of Maidstone, Saskatchewan Bright Star-Like Object Moves

Full Description of event/sighting: Last night around 11:15pm we both were sitting outside so we could watch the skies. There were quite a few stars but one star sitting in the sky in the west caught our attention for some odd reason. It appeared to be like one of the brightest stars in the sky and was as large as the brightest stars in the sky. Then after roughly 5 minutes it suddenly moved north in a straight line and then disappeared rather quickly.

Over South Coast Of Dorset England, U.K. UFO Sightings

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst star gazing on quite a few occasions lately I have witnessed flashes similar to flash bulbs-very intense and of similar duration to flash photography bulbs, only at heights akin to aircraft or possibly even higher like satellites. Have noticed satellite type "stars" which do not have a constant track. As a young boy I once saw with my father two "star-like" objects in close formation zig zagging from north to south. My father said they were weather balloons. At the age of 15 a school friend and I saw in broad daylight a 2' diameter disc float from rooftop height up to about 2000' where it disappeared in cloud .What struck us was that if a hoax fashioned from tinfoil, why didn't it look "crinkly"? This object was smooth and apparently originating fro over the roof of what looked to be an elderly persons' bungalow residence, an unlikely source of hoaxer activity.
When sitting in my car having just finished a piano tuning about 12 years ago in the afternoon during an overcast day I saw a light in the sky of about car headlight intensity. I looked behind me in the rear window to take note of any vehicles with lights on which may be causing reflections and there were none. On reviewing the object it was still static as I moved my head around, whilst still training my eyes on it, the object suddenly accelerated away to the west, leaving a streak of light (not unlike in the credits of Star Trek!), which faded to nothing.
My mother and I witnessed a bright red/pink spark way out over Poole Bay shooting at incredible speed shoot from south to north (inland) then back again from whence it came. As someone with aircraft experience (my father and brother are/were pilots) I can honestly estimate the speed of this low flying object at well in excess of mach 1 or two even, more like mach twenty! Hope you can help reveal the truth even if some or all these events are down meteorological phenomena. These events sum up most of my memorable sightings of unknowns.

Urbandale, Iowa Eyewitnesses Directly Underneath A Huge Triangular UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: My buddy and I were driving home and I noticed an extremely bright light on the horizon that couldn't have been a star. We parked and looked at this object and it seemed to have jumped back and forth over a relatively large distance. It was getting closer to us so we turned back on the street and went towards it. As we got what I would say was 2 blocks away we were under it. The bright light that we originally saw faded away and we could see probably 6 or 7 lights in the shape of a triangle. The object was really low and was HUGE. We freaked out and stopped again, and it changed direction. We followed it as much as we could but the road ended, and it seemed like it continued to get lower until it went under a tree-line and past a hill. It was a UFO there is no other way it was anything else.

La Chapelle Neuve, Morbihan, Bretagne, France Black Triangular UFO

Shape of objects: Triangular, possibly conical. Dark grey/black.
Weather Conditions: Clear conditions, excellent visibility.
Description: During a telephone call I looked out into my garden and in the distance I saw an unusual object in the sky. South east of my location, at a distance of +15 miles, the object was triangular in profile, dark in colour, no flashing lights. The craft moved slowly to the left (east)and began to rise. The object appeared to be at a strange angle of projection. I am not a trained aircraft spotter, but have had an interest in aviation since I was a kid, and am up to
date with current commercial and military craft..this was neither.
My sighting was brief as i ran to get my camera and upon return it was gone. There was however a streak (momentarily) across the sky as I looked for the craft through my lens, like a metallic contrail. I am sure others will have seen this event as it appears to have been very close to the city of Vannes, and it is full of tourists at the moment. Thanks.

Hodge Hill, Birmingham U.K. Frisbee Shaped UFOs

Shape of objects: Like Frisbees, glowing on the top, dark circle area underneath.
Weather Conditions: Raining,very cloudy, pre-storm.
Description: I had gone outside to enjoy the heavy rain this evening. Was stood looking southwards at the sky and I saw a bright white object move behind trees. I waited to see what it was and saw... a disc like object which was bright white on top and with a dark circle on the underside. This object was moving silently towards the approx East/ North East and rocking gently from side to side.
This continued in the same direction and was followed after about a minute by another object which was of the same appearance. They continued out of sight. My husband and daughter came out when I called them and as we were unable to take photos we hope that we were not the only people to have seen these.
TV/Radio: We rang both Central TV and Birmingham Evening Mail but they told us if we didn't have photos they would not be able to report the sightings. We have asked for information from the Evening Mail if any further sightings are reported.

Full Description of event/sighting: Definitely wasn't fireworks. At first we thought it may be a plane or helicopter on fire. But it was too round. It was bright orange and red. It quickly dropped it's altitude and then just disappeared. Really weird. Also, 10 years ago at Finch and Weston, over the Humber River, there was a circle of red lights in the sky that just hovered. It stayed for about 5 minutes and then just dropped to the ground. Here there were 3 witnesses.

Blackpool, Lancashire Bright Light

Hey, I'm from Blackpool, Lancashire early this morning on the 2nd of July, I was looking out of my window at ten to four. I saw one bright light not moving in a solid direction it appeared to be phasing about up and down side to side (heading in a westerly direction towards the sea), I also saw what at first appeared to be two stars that close to the object in the sky (on a much bigger scale, I realized that it wasn't two stars but it was 3 forming triangle, this was spinning slowly anticlockwise, really freaked me out. later I saw flashes in the sky in the area I had seen the light 5 mins before, there seemed to be quite alot of activity. just wondering if anybody else saw anything. cheers.

Weather Conditions: Clear skies..with very few cumulus clouds.
Description: Traveling from East to West at high speed, smoky green in colour, leaving a greenish trail about 20 times the length of the object. No sound, it was a disc shape but could have had a hollow centre. It looked a bit like a ring dough- nut. Not a shooting star or meteorite. I have seen plenty to know the
difference. It was about the size of a full moon, so if it was high up then it would have been big. Anybody else see it. Sighting lasted approximately 3 seconds.
