Boomerang UFO Sighting At Joliet Illinois And Minooka Illinois (Pictures)

Time:  Approx: 8:25 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

Hi Brian, I saw 2 (or more) UFOs tonight, an amazing sight. I was driving home from school and I noticed a bluish bright light in the sky.

I thought that it was a comet at first until I realized it was flashing like a strobe light.

I was amazed. It was moving very quickly through the sky, faster than a plane or helicopter until suddenly it vanished.

A few minutes later I saw an extremely bright light in the sky.

I'm sure everyone on the highway did. It was hovering or moving extremely slow.

I was able to snap two pictures of it and what I have is (I think) a boomerang UFO.

Two Flaming Objects In The Sky Over Joliet Illinois

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Hello Brian, Wednesday, September 5th, 2012, going eastbound on Interstate 80, in the town of Joliet, Illinois, at approximately 8:00 p.m., my mother and I, along with other motorists, witnessed something in the sky.

Interstate 80 west and eastbound, is very dark between 355 and the first exit in Joliet so the glow from the sky attracted my attention. The objects appeared to be two flaming objects, with a pronounced red and yellow flame.  

My first instinct was that the objects were some sort of small planes that may have collided and that they were "falling". However, as I slowed down my speed, it became very clear that the objects were about a mile or two apart, and were unexplainable in its origin.

I have been perusing the Internet to see if anyone else has reported seeing this is in the sky unfortunately to no avail.  Through my perusal I came across your website and noticed that someone posted similar sightings August 18th, 2012.  This has really weirded me out. Thank you for your forum.

Fast Moving Bright Blue Light Falls From The Sky Over Joliet Illinois

I just seen a blue light fall from the sky very fast.

I was driving home from work at 10:05 p.m. and saw a flash of blue, then it fell towards the ground in a very fast motion.

I live in Joliet, Illinois about 45 minutes south of Chicago. All I can say is, wooooow.

UFO Shoots Upward As Aircraft Approaches Over Joliet Illinois

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Last night around 9:00 p.m., I was out having a smoke when I noticed that the normal patterns of the airplanes that fly over my house was kind of unusual, as if they were trying to avoid something in the area.

At first, I did not think anything of it, until I noticed a large white orb coming up from the southwest. It seemed to be moving at a pretty good rate of speed at first, but then slowed down and was like hovering in the sky as it meandered towards where I was.

There was no sound, no flashing lights, and it moved like nothing I have ever seen. It moved a little east, a little north and then turned east as it started getting close to above my house.

I called my wife and kid out, who also witnessed this orb moving through the sky slowly now. At that time, I saw a plane coming from the west (as they always do) and I told my wife and kid to watch and see what the orb does as the plane gets closer to it's path.

As the plane started moving towards this orb, the orb did this little “flicker” thing, and shot off straight up and was gone in the blink of an eye. We then watched the plane move on, no clouds in the sky, perfectly clear.

The orb, was just gone, in the blink of an eye. That was strange because I watched this thing for a good 15 minutes, and the whole time it was as bright as the brightest star you had ever seen, but was much lower in the sky and could not have been a star, or even a satellite.

Not sure what it was, it was not a plane, balloon, helicopter or anything I have ever seen before. No sound  at all and this thing was as close to the ground as an approaching airplane headed towards an airport.

Now mind you, I do live close to Lewis, but this was not something like anything I had seen before and by us, we know what planes, balloons, helicopters, and even a fighter jet or classic plane every once in awhile by us, we see it all. But nothing like this, really weird for sure.

100 Lights Over Ridge Road In Joliet Illinois

Date: Week of November 7th to the 13th, 2010

Time: Approx: 6:30 p.m.

Brian, I saw your post on the web site sightings.com. I live in Channahan area and last week when I was driving around 6:30 on ridge road in Joliet. I saw a lot of strange aircraft in the sky. There were hundreds of them all over the sky heading around Joliet and Minooka.

When I first saw them, they appeared one about every five seconds all in a row. They did not make any noise and they flew around for a couple hours. I even saw them in the sky when I got home. I have not heard anything about this and was hoping you might know of what the heck I saw?

Triangular UFO Travels Above Eyewitness At Joliet Illinois

Date: July 22, 2010

Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, my name is (name removed) and I was searching to see if anyone has seen anything strange in Joliet and I came across you. I didn't see what you did at the speedway, but last Thursday I was coming home from a friends from Minooka and decided to come home down RT 6.

I was traveling east towards Houbolt road actually, just passed I-55 and was between I-55 and Houbolt and noticed a real bright light in the sky, but the light was not moving.

I kept driving and I passed the light and it was still not moving. It dawned on me that it was to low to be a star and I thought maybe it was a helicopter, until I made it to Houbolt and turned right and I saw a formation of these lights. They were the same as the other one and they were all spread apart at what seemed to be about the same height.

So I drove over the train tracks right before I-55 and pulled over right past the track and stopped. One of the lights was moving towards me and I heard nothing and then I almost had a freaking stroke. The craft that went over me was a triangular alien craft.

It was nothing that we have as this thing could stop on a dime disappear and show up in a different spot. I know what I was seeing, is not from this world. I watched it for a while and the other lights did not move, but they were in some formation. Eventually they disappeared, except for one of them. I made it home and went in the back yard and it was still hovering in the sky. I went to get my wife and when I came back out, it was gone. My name is (name removed) and I'm not crazy, but I thought I would respond.

Orange Lights Over Chicagoland Speedway Joliet Illinois

Time: Approx: 11;00 p.m.


My wife, her daughter and her friend were at Chicagoland speedway last night about 11:00 o'clock pm, we started seeing orange lights in the sky coming from the south. First there was 1 then 2 then 3. They would disappear and reappear in a different location. Sometimes closer or higher.

The 4 of us watched this for about an hour. When we were leaving, I saw a formation of 5 white lights in an arrow formation with something behind them. It wasn't a plane that I know of or a helicopter or stars or planets.

10 Bright Orange Lights Observed Over Joliet Illinois

I seen 8 maybe, 10 lights/objects fly from south to north. They were a very bright orange moving very fast and silent. Everyone and I were outside lighting fireworks and at about 11:40pm. The orange lights started flying over all in the same direction and then just disappeared all in the same spot We all seen it.

Location of Sighting: SW sky Joliet, Illinois.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Circular.

Full Description of event/sighting: Looked in sky while walking dog, very bright object, larger than star, smaller than moon of course. Not a plane headlight, it did not move for 20 minutes. I went back to bed. Please call me if anyone else saw this, or for more detailed description of event.
