UFO 100 Feet In Diameter Above I-95 Between Laural And Columbia Maryland

Date:  January 17, 2015
Time:  9:45 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round/circular.
Colour of Object: Black or grey body with round white lights.
 
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving north bound I-95. There was a flash around 11 o'clock high, maybe 10-20,000 feet elevation, like light reflection off power line or phone line wire.

Then dark wing shaped object moving right to left downward at 45 degree angle to 9 o’clock high position 1-10,000 foot elevation.

It then leveled off around 500-5,000 feet elevation, hovered briefly slowly moving right to left. Appeared to be looking at underside of UFO.

Dark circle with 6-8 round softly glowing lights arrayed around inside circumference of object.

It looked a lot like highway/street lamps noticed further north from sighting area.

My guesses are UFO, test aircraft, street lamp, or very large drone. Object seemed to be 20-100 feet diameter.

4 Silent Solid Red Colored Lights In The Sky 100 Feet Above Over Andover Massachusetts

Time:  Approx: 6:00 p.m.

Last night 1/9/13 I went out to my garage about 6:00 p.m., it was dark, and I looked up and saw 4 solid red lights in the sky maybe 100 feet above me.

Flying very slow. It was maybe the size of a small plane, but flying at the speed of maybe a blimp.

Far to slow for any plane. The thing that really stuck out was it was dead silent. No engine noise or any noise of any kind. It was way to close to me to be silent. So no way it was a helicopter.

It was very dark so all I could see were the solid red lights in a triangle shape and a fourth light at the rear.

Making kind of a kite shape if you were to connect the dots. Very strange. Is this similar to what you saw? I live in Andover, Ma. Others reported the same thing last night in Amherst about an hour from me.

Approximately 100 Lights Seen Over Tampa Florida

Time:  Approx; 9:30 p.m.

On November 10, 2012 at about 9:30 p.m. me and a friend saw about 100 lights on the horizon going up for about ten minutes then disappeared. We were looking west.

I can't believe no one is reporting this. Looking at Google Maps, this must have been right over Tampa, Florida.

100 Feet Up In The Sky Was A Huge Clear Translucent Cylinder Shaped UFO Near Charlottesville Virginia

Time:  Morning.

Brian, I was telling my family about some lights I have seen in the sky the night Hurricane Sandy blew threw. Here's my story. People at work all think I'm crazy, but I saw what I saw.

It was October 29th, 2012 and I was heading to work on I-64 near Charlottesville VA. It was raining, but not heavily. I looked up at the tree line that separates the on-going and on-coming traffic.

Up in the sky about 100 feet off the ground was this huge clear translucent tube around 50 feet long and around 15 feet maybe 20 feet in diameter.

I kept looking at it trying to focus in at what I was looking at. It was dark and raining out, but the lights from the traffic on the other side of the trees illuminated the object enough for me to really look at it. Even though it was a clear cylinder in the sky it had a series of ribs (structural support?).

Then, around 5 minutes later I was still traveling on I-64 when there were these series of flashes in the sky over by Afton Mountain near Charlottesville VA. All the flashes were a dark blue-purplish in color. The flashes were not lightening bolts but more or less a whole sky illumination. 

It was fast and short burst, like a flash from a camera. It only flashed a few times, then nothing. Was the cylinder object and the flashes related?

Strange night altogether. The Hurricane blowing threw, the weird cylinder hovering above the ground and the blue flashes in the sky. Yes, October 29th will be a day to remember for me. Charlottesville VA.

Intense Red Light Hovers At 100 Feet Lighting Up The Trees At Franksville Wisconsin

Date:  Approximately 1990
Time:  Evening.

I found your story that was posted while looking for similar stories of mine. Mine happened years ago, approximately 1990.

While traveling north on hwy H towards hwy K at that intersection is Franksville Park. Over the park, and hidden by the oaks, there was an intense red light approximately 100 feet in the air, and lighting up the trees.

Cars were pulling over, so I drove west on hwy K to try to get a better view. I pulled over about a mile away and couldn't see it any more. I did see 2 groups of 3 jets flying south, towards me, from the direction of Milwaukee. I watched until they flew out of my sight. Just thought I'd share

Orange/Red Balls Of Light Flying Over Newport Beach California

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

Brian, I witnessed the same thing you described as orange/red balls of what appears to be balloons on fire over Newport Beach.

 

Last night around 9:00 p.m. there were 5-7 examples - they appeared low in the sky as if they were launched from the beach then ascended until they appeared to burn out.

Glowing Football UFO 100 To 200 Feet Wide Flew Over The Highway At Amesbury Massachusetts

 

Date:  December 15-22, 1983

Time:  10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: At least 100 - 200 feet wide, shaped like a football glowing as on fire, yet also appearing to be from friction on the outer.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving north on Route 95 towards Maine and we saw crossing over the highway a large football shaped craft appearing to slow down as it flew over us about 200 feet high and 100 yards ahead of us.

 

We slowed down the car and just stared. It was not a plane, helicopter, jet or anything earth like. It also crossed the highway slowly at about 30 -50 miles per hour because of the time it took to continue past us to the right towards the ocean.

 

It also sped up, yet it seemed to curve upward and we could see it for at least 5 - 10 miles as it was night and it was lit up and totally visible. Then it seemed to bolt quickly and disappear.

 

To add to it ,I heard about 2 hours later it was on the radio and seen in states from Kansas to Maine which confirmed to me and the guy I was with other witnesses.

I was honored to see it. It was a space ship for sure no doubt and they probably could see us as they slowed down. Oh well.

Large Fireball Appeared To Be 100 Feet Overhead At Los Angeles California

I am so glad to see this post! My friend and I saw it too, and I have been looking around the Internet for any other reports on this. We saw it in Los Angeles, CA. I've seen meteor showers before, but this fireball was way too big to have been a meteor.

 

It looked like something about to crash. It looked only about 100 feet in the air from us and I truly thought it was going to crash into the street ahead of us. But then, as soon as we thought we would hear an impact, we saw a flash of light and it vanished.

 

Truly bizarre and unlike any other meteor I have seen falling. We were on San Vicente, West of La Brea when we saw it.

Flame Like UFO Hovers 100 Feet In The Air Over North Ridgeville Ohio

Date: Early August 2010

Time: Around 10:00 – 12:00 a.m.

Hey there, had a similar sighting early August of last summer in Columbia station before I moved to Colorado, after Google searching finding similar reports I'm even more dumbfounded now. I don't remember the date it, but it was around 10:00 - 12:00am. I was driving down route 252 and right before Snell road when my girlfriend and I spotted a red hovering flame looking objects.

It looked like a giant lighter flame flickering. I’m already believing in such things, I turned down Snell and the object seemed to be hovering maybe 100 feet in the air.

I could tell from how it started traveling down the road, suddenly it stopped hovering, moved over the field directly across my path. I partly drove under it and got out of my car to watch, it stopped moving moments later then it seemed to either move directly away from me or dim out then disappeared.

The next day a friend asked me if I saw anything, not knowing of what I saw, his sighting was very similar only on Sprague and station.

100 Lights Over Ridge Road In Joliet Illinois

Date: Week of November 7th to the 13th, 2010

Time: Approx: 6:30 p.m.

Brian, I saw your post on the web site sightings.com. I live in Channahan area and last week when I was driving around 6:30 on ridge road in Joliet. I saw a lot of strange aircraft in the sky. There were hundreds of them all over the sky heading around Joliet and Minooka.

When I first saw them, they appeared one about every five seconds all in a row. They did not make any noise and they flew around for a couple hours. I even saw them in the sky when I got home. I have not heard anything about this and was hoping you might know of what the heck I saw?

Huge UFO Hovers At 100 Feet At The South End Of Marsh Airforce Base California

Message: Regarding one of your sightings Murrieta, California UFO Flat/Square Or Possibly Triangular' Posted: February 9, 2008; occurred on date: February 7, 2008 Time: 2:15 a.m.

I am from Moreno Valley, CA. (15 miles from Murrieta and host to Marsh Airforce Base). I am writing because for the first time after years of casually reading about UFO's, I saw this article and besides the proximity of our cities. I also saw a similar object in 1985 approx:, I regrettably did not take note of the particulars of the incident, probably as a form of denial. This happened at night around 11pm. I have not read or heard of the description of the rectangle or pizza box shape object before this article.

I was driving a back road (Oleander Ave) that cuts right along side the south end of Marsh Airforce Base, between the 215 Freeway and Perris Blvd. I saw a huge object, hovering about 100 feet above and moving at an exceedingly slow pace. I stopped my car, step out to get a better look. It was rectangle shape (approx 20 x 50 yards) with small lights through out sporadically; along its side and bottom. It had a distinctive almost helicopter propeller blade hum, though more rhythmic and shallow. The object came to a standstill in front of where I was parked and a flood light came on and shown brightly in front of where I was parked, onto a building. After a few seconds it went off and the object proceeded directly onto March Airforce base and slowly hovered above it then turned left and went across the 215 Freeway heading west and it disappeared past some hills.

I assumed that it was some sort of military aircraft, though I have never seen anything like that before or since. The two thing I recall that were interestingly different were that I kept wanting other cars to happen by and no one drove through the road I was in during all the 5 plus minutes that this was happening. When the object banked left and over the freeway, I kept looking at the freeway for cars traveling north or south. During the whole incident no cars drove past the visible stretch of at least 1/2 mile of freeway. It was as if time had stood still. Not one car drove past on this relatively busy freeway. The other thing I found odd was thinking that this would generate some calls, or commotion that did not happen, apparently no one else saw this.
