Full Description of event/sighting: My mother was leaving for work at a *****tail lounge outside Travis AFB. My father was in Vietnam. The lounge name is Cecil's and still operates as far as I know. Many of the base personnel and pilots frequented said establishment. When my mother got into to car to leave, the lady from the next store began to bang on the car window. She was from Germany and was so freaked out, and she was talking in her native language.
My mother got out of her car and the neighbor pointed up to the sky and across the street where my mother saw a large pink cigar shaped object hovering silently. She says she stared at the object for a undetermined amount of time, maybe seconds or minutes. It then flew off at an incredible rate of speed with out making a sound over Twin Sister Mountains. When she arrived at work and shared her story, she was laughed at and ridiculed. She only then told family of what happened. My mother was very religious catholic woman and did not make this up. It happened !
Thank you to the person for the report.
