Location of Sighting: Decatur Alabama.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Transparent V shaped flying object.
Full Description of event/sighting: I woke up in the middle of the night and turned on the weather channel as I always do when I wake up and can't go right back to sleep. I needed to blow my nose (which usually wakes up my girlfriend) so I grabbed a tissue and stepped out the back door. I blew my nose and marveled at how beautiful, calm and warm of an evening it was. For some reason (or no reason at all) I walked up my driveway and stood by the street. I looked around at the beautiful night and then I looked to the sky which I often do. I thought to myself "man it has been a while since I even looked at the sky". Mainly because it has been such a long cold winter and this was the first time in months I was able to comfortably "star gaze". As I was staring to the sky directly above me something caught my eye. It was coming from the south west and moving slowly.
As I focused on the object I could see that it was approximately 900 - 1500 feet above me and it was a very large V shaped object almost transparent. So much so that I had to question weather or not I was actually seeing it or not. It was amazing, completely silent and did not move in anyway other than to perfectly glide through the air directly over my head and into the distance. I am blown away. I saw something without a doubt. I can not explain it. I need to share this with someone. I wanted to call 911 or the police but I did not think it was the right thing to do. So I immediately came in here to my computer and did a Google search for "transparent V shaped flying object" and found your site. Please write me or call me when ever you can. Thank you.

I recently saw the exact same thing a few days ago, september 29 2008, in Richmond,TX. I luckily had someone to witness it with me so I knew that it wasn't my eyes or that I wasn't just going crazy.
I live in Santa Cruz CA. and have a new hobby watching & tracking satellites and I just saw a large V shape craft flying overhead for the third time within a month. Tonight at 9:28pm PST, I saw it again, staight above me, gliding from South to North. No lights at all, large V or triangle shape, lighter colored than the night sky.
The other times it flew from East to West, then next was South East to North West. It seemed to fly fairly slow, slower than satellites or airplanes, & no lights at all every time. The only reason I can see it is because it is lighter than the night sky. Any input ?? CT Santa Cruz, Calif.
tonight at 1030 pm local time in Lethbridge AB I saw asimilar object flying from the NW to SE direction over the city. No lights on the vessel what gave it away was that it is a very clear night over the city and it was a wide v shaped object brownish in tone compared to black night sky. I could mark its passage as it blotted out one star to the next. It was very large and silent.Although I could not tell the exact distance to this craft if it had been a plane causing a silohette of that size I would have most certainly would have heard it above the city noise.
Back in 1998 I was living in Cleburne Texas and I was laying in our hot tub on the back patio. Looking up A v shaped craft passed less than 50 feet above me directly over my house. It was huge!! It made absolutly no noise. It seemed to covered in metalic eel colored skin. There were no lights but it had 7 spheres that protruded from the noise and 3 down each wing. The spheres looked as if they would open due to slits I could clearly see. The thing was so low I could have hit it with a rock. If anyone has seen the same email me jennings.hamilton@staffcare.com
Yesterday at night (7:30 PM) I was finishing my walk exercise at one park near of my house and something make me look to the sky and I saw a V shape object semi transparent flying at low attitude (20 mts), the size was more or less 4 mts size and I was surprised that that think fly without noise in a perfect line slow, It seems like the depredator in the movie semi transparent with a gray scale color, it was appearing and disappearing and you can see the stars throw the body of it.
I continue following it for almost 1 minute and when I enter in a more illuminated area I lost it.
It happened in Saltillo, Coahuila Mexico the 17/Feb/2009 at 7:30 PM.
I never hear about V or Boomerang Shape transparent UFOs until now.

Last night at approximately 11:30pm eastern time, the same exact sighting was seen in Pennsylvania. A transparent v shaped object. Within several minutes , two helicopters were flying behind it. So what is this that is hovering around so long now and no one is speaking of???

I' ve seen a V-shaped transparent object over Dresden (Berchtesgadener Street) flying from SE to NW.
Date: Friday March 20th
Time appx. 23.30pm (MET)
Speed: appx. 300 kmph
Height: appx 300m
Span: appx. 20m-25m
Other: No Sound, light glowing inside the object as it moves more towards horizon (Optical Camo seems to weaken if you are in an angle of sight between appx. 160°-200° and 340°-20° *)
I don't know what this kind of object is used for (maybe a optical/electromagnetical stealth recon drone)and I know that I had no halluzinations or sth. like it. My head and my sight were clear and I always trust my senses...
