2:45 a.m., I and thee friends just saw a ball if light with a tail flashing different colors and flying over Canterbury New Hampshire.
The strange object moved up and down and left and right, closer then farther in the same patch of sky a mile away for no less then 20 minuets.
It then became a dull brown color of no light maintaining a shape still hovering for a few more minuets until it just faded behind a cloud and disappearing.

I see the same thing in Alabama every night as well. My vision isn't as good as some other peoples but I can definitely make it out and it behaves the same way as well.
