Time: Approx: 6:15 p.m.
Tonight 12-15-12, we saw red lights around 6:15 p.m. They rose above the tree line, then faded after they got so far away.
Any idea what this was?

It was about the same time when I saw one bright red light high moving in the sky. I showed it to my husband and we agreed it was not a plane because it had no other lights. As it got closer it had no engine noise. It continued across the sky and then started to drop and there was no light. But I could see the outline of an object. As it got close to the ground it became bright orange and disappeared. I'm still trying to figure out what it was
