I saw what sounds like the same thing on hwy 412 west of Enid OK.
I was driving east on the dark highway, and all of the sudden the sky light up bright as day in a blue/green color for only an instant.
I could see the what looked like a ball dim out after the flash, almost directly overhead.
Myself and other cars on the highway slowed down to almost a stop to try and see what had just happened.
I haven't heard anything about it in the paper or news, but I know others saw it on the highway. This was on December 12, 2012 at about 1:04 a.m.
