I just saw about an hour ago a weird orange light in the sky, over Thousand Oaks, Ca. As I was watching it, I saw it pick up speed until it eventually disappeared over the horizon toward Point Mugu. When I got home, I typed in "UFO sightings Point Mugu" and found your site w/the following entry:

I want the guy to know that I too saw that same orange light last year. It was so intriguing that I actually drove from my house in Thousand Oaks in the middle of the night as I was following the light hovering in the sky. I kept driving and ended up about 5 miles from Point Mugu when it disappeared. I am by no means some crazy guy. I have enough problems on this planet to worry about life on others, lol. But tonight's incident was very, very peculiar and seems to be the same orange light that I and the other gentleman saw last year, same description of the event. Sincerely.

I saw an object tonight while driving in Camarillo/Oxnard. I was on East fifth street heading back toward the 101 to get back to the Conejo Valley area. I was in the back seat of my parents car and noticed while looking south toward the ocean, just above the mountain line, towards the tall tower in the distance with blinking red lights. To the left of this tower, I saw a small orange circular light. I thought it was a very bright close star. But it was slowly moving. It had no visible blinking lights to be an airplane. I then thought it was a flare or maybe fireworks, but no smoke trail or explosion of lights. under /around it. It continued to rise very slowly and then disappeared. Today is 5/8/2012 and the time I saw it was around 7:50 pm. In total it was about 30 seconds -1 min. of observing this.
