Hello Brian, I live in Leominster, MA and I am currently commuting to CT. Just before 6:00 a.m. driving south bound on RT-190 just after the Laural Street overpass in West Boylston I witnessed a ball of fire shoot across the sky going from right to left (towards Southbrough, roughly).
It was really bright, white with a halo of light green in color and broke off into 3 pieces after a brief flash. I lost it over the tree line. I went looking online during lunch to see if anyone else saw it and that's how I found your site.
I have seen shooting stars before but nothing so close, vivid and fast. Thanks.
