Bright White Object With Green Halo Shot Across The Sky Over West Boylston Massachusetts

Hello Brian, I live in Leominster, MA and I am currently commuting to CT. Just before 6:00 a.m. driving south bound on RT-190 just after the Laural Street overpass in West Boylston I witnessed a ball of fire shoot across the sky going from right to left (towards Southbrough, roughly).

It was really bright, white with a halo of light green in color and broke off into 3 pieces after a brief flash. I lost it over the tree line. I went looking online during lunch to see if anyone else saw it and that's how I found your site.

I have seen shooting stars before but nothing so close, vivid and fast. Thanks.

Beaverton, Oregon Object With Large Blue Halo Around It

Just an update as the "unidentified object" was out tonight as well.

Tonight, rather than being due east from our house it was more south-east, and rather than being just above our neighboring hill, it was about 45 degrees higher in the sky. This was around 7:25 PM.

And I've just rediscovered Murphy's Law, as I had taken the time to get out my HD camcorder, put in a telephoto lens, set it up on a tripod and "record" 8 minutes of footage. Having done this in a hurry, I didn't realize that the DV cassette I had put in the camcorder was a cleaning cassette, not a recordable cassette (and the camera didn't bother to complain) so I actually have no video.

It was slowly moving east to west though, as when I started to tape the object/planet/satellite it was about "two feet" away from my front porch over-hang where I was taking its picture and it was just going out of view over the over-hang about 10 minutes later.

Again to the naked eye it was bright and almost dazzling (compared to any other star/planet in the sky at the time) in multiple colors of white, blue and red. The main thing I noticed in the LCD view finder was the object had a really large blue halo around it.

While I obviously do not know what this is, on the surface it would seem to be more of a bright planet/star or satellite putting on a good light show due to atmospheric conditions, rather than a true "UFO", but hey, I can always hope.

Fullerton, California - Witnesses Observed The Brea UFO Event (Huge UFO And Halo)

A friend and I saw the UFO in Brea.

I'm from Orange County and a friend and I were in his car that night on Ladera Vista Drive in Fullerton. We were up there checking out all of the multi-million dollar homes when all of the sudden off in the distance we saw something. On the horizon there were trees on both sides of us and an area of sky in between. We saw a large object float between the trees from right to left that seemed to have a halo surrounding it. It was extremely large and moved really slow as if it was floating. I'd never seen anything like it, and I wasn't sure what to make of it. I've done a lot of UFO research and personally I've never seen anything that looked even close to what I saw. I'm not sure what it was, but I saw it. It looked like a dark blue diamond on its side like this <> with rounded corners and a halo surrounding it.
