Approximately 25 To 30 Lights In The Sky Over Port St. Lucie Florida

I witnessed about 25-30 flying lights last night around 11:15 p.m. while I was walking my dog in Tradition in Port St. Lucie, FL.

They were at a "cruising speed" headed south to north making no noise. Needless to say I was freaked out and ran home to tell my boyfriend. By the time I got home and yelled at him to come outside, they were gone.

Do you have any information on what they were? Please let me know. Thank you!

25 To 30 Plus Unknown Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Scottsdale And Paradise Valley Arizona

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My girlfriend and I were driving east on Shea Blvd and I spotted maybe 10 orange lights in the sky over Scottsdale.

It was an unusual cluster of orange lights that at first looked like planes lined up one after the other as if on a flight path. However, more just kept coming and they were no longer in lined up formation.

In fact they were popping up in random spots that were spreading out in no particular pattern but they were moving.

The lights were orange and not white as plane lights would be. There were no blinking lights to indicate they were landing lights or planes. The lights were just bright orange colored.

They kept coming and looked like they were surfacing out of nowhere or from the ground, but they were not coming from the ground over east Scottsdale.

One after another and multiples just kept showing up. They went upward and seemed to be traveling towards us in a westerly direction and also straight up.

They clustered, they lined up, they went up in pairs and crossed as if touching then separated and would vanish slowly. It was as if they were playing.

We had pulled over to watch them and a family came out of their house and watched them with us. Finally we got in the car and drove east less than a mile and pulled over again into a cul-de-sac facing south over Paradise Valley.

We watched them continuously surface and start traveling right in front of us one after another.

We thought they might come right to us but as they past us they would shoot off into the distance in a way that seemed to be a slow fade but in actuality they seemed to be traveling a long distance at a very rapid speed.

We know for sure they were not planes of any kind as their lights stayed consistent no matter how close or far they were from us or what direction they traveled.

We thought someone must have been releasing them like balloons, but it was not possible. There was also No Wind which would have made them move as they did.

These were not balloons.

They traveled in purposeful directions with intent and as they passed right in front of us one after another, over the dark hills of Paradise Valley, it was clearly evident they knew what they were doing and purposefully showed their presence.

There was no sound and they were not from this planet.

Every one of them had a bright orange flare look to them and every one of them was consistent in color and brightness until they faded away.

They all faded away in the same manner with a trickling of light as they seemed to rapidly disappear into the far distance.

This lasted around 20 minutes and we don't know how long they were in the sky before we saw them. But we watched until there were no more.

We never thought to count but there had to be somewhere around 30-50 of them over the 20 some minute span we watched.

This event totally reminded me of the 1997 Lights Over Phoenix Incident; however, this was of a magnitude that blows that event out of the water!

There is no doubt in my mind what we saw and funny thing is, we captured at least one on film but most of them would not show up on our phone cameras despite how bright they were. It was the strangest thing but we documented it.

We left my house about 11:00 p.m. and feel it must have lasted at least 20 minutes if not more. 

I left my report on your site because it was the first choice on Google and already had reports of sightings in Spokane, WA, that told of almost the identical experience we had and it had happened just a few hours before on the same night . 

I have seen lots of sightings over the years and have interesting stories, but this was the most unimaginable and closest encounter ever. 

To see so many Orbs and have them moving in the sky in a way that came at us and continually passed by us, was mind blowing and definite confirmation we are not alone. 

I'm just grateful I wasn't alone for this experience and we were not physically affected.

25 To 30 Orange Balls Of Light Lit Up In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

Time:  Evening.

We saw orange balls of light rising from the ground over Spokane, Washington.

It was around 9:00 p.m. on 2/16/13. It was very weird. I’m a Surveyor so I can judge distances pretty good.

I walked out of the house and I saw approximately 7-10 orange balls lit up in the sky.

They were evenly spaced out in a curve.

They were moving up in the sky and then they were lost in the clouds, but they kept coming up so as we lost sight of one, another would rise.

I estimate that we saw at least 25-30 over a five minute period. What was really weird is there spacing. They all looked to be hundreds of feet apart, but they same distance from each other in a near perfect curve?

We are just north of down town Spokane. The lights were coming from the direction of the Spokane airport or Fairchild AFB?

We did take a video, but you can only see small dots as a plane fly’s by the lights.

I know what I saw. Waiting in the parking lot watching the flight traffic over SFO, my chair reclined position. 20-30 lights and not a cloud in the sky.

One red flashing light while the other white or blue lights "criss crossing". I share your irritation, you had to see it to believe it. No need to reply, I saw it too.

21 To 30 Bright Orange Lights In The Sky Over Casselberry Seminole County Florida

Casselberry Seminole County, Florida Corner of Lake Dr. And Center Rd. facing east. at 11:30 p.m., I was totally sober, driving home from a meeting. 

Turned the corner and saw 21-30 bright orange lights not moving, not blinking. Lived at this site 6 years, I know every street light, every stadium light every interstate light.

Lived in Alaska 8 years, know Aurora Borealis. OIA near here, I know what planes and helicopters look like. I stopped my car tried to take pictures, but all I had was iPad. 

Watched these unmoving unwavering lights for 10 minutes, they began to fade dimmer and disappear one at a time. I am freaked out.

20 To 30 Orange Lights In The Sky Over West Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 12:15 a.m.

My husband and I were driving north in West Boca Raton, Florida around 12:15 a.m.

We both saw 20-30 orange orbs in a constellation like pattern (the only one we could recognize was something that looked like the big/little dipper).

They were about 1,500 feet in the air. At first, they were stationary, and then the pattern condensed or contracted.

They moved relatively slowly, and eventually they began to disappear in a random order. A few remained when a large firework exploded in their general area, and they all disappeared at once.

I would have liked to explain them as being Chinese lanterns, as I have seen many people suggest on the internet, but they moved in a way that no wind could have moved them (i.e. condensing them in the exact pattern they were hovering in).

My husband and I have seen several similar reports of this in the area and are quite perplexed by the sighting.

Approximately 30 Red Objects In The Sky Seen Over Sacramento California

Dear Mr. Vike, I am writing to tell you that my husband and I, with a close friend, observed around 30 red orbs in Sacramento at midnight on News Years Eve. We watched them for about 30 minutes.

We even called 911. My husband and I both have Master's Degrees and our friend has a BA. We are not kooks. I am currently at work, but would like to share our story with you this evening.

Cluster Of 20 To 30 Bright Yellow/Orange Lights Over Tigard/Portland Oregon

Time:  Approx: 6:00 p.m.

I saw them too, I was returning to my apartment on Durham Rd/108th Ave after picking up a pizza.

As I turned into my apartment parking lot, facing north, they were directly and plainly visible in the night-sky. 

There were more than 6 or 7 and I saw a cluster of the bright yellow/orange lights composed of about 20 - 30 individual lights.

As soon as I saw them, I stopped my car and just watched/observed. It was not raining. 

There was a cloud cover and the lights were below the cloud cover. They appeared to be stationary, just hanging in the sky.

After about 30 seconds, I quickly parked my car, ran inside and yelled for my 13-year-old son to come outside quick, which he did. 

We both stood and looked at the bright lights, which now appeared to be moving slowly in a direct northward direction.

My son ran back inside to get his camera. Less than a minute later he returned, but by then, all but three of the lights had faded into the north-bound night sky, perhaps into the clouds. 

The remaining three lights were growing dim quickly. By the time my son got his camera turned on and took the photo, I could only see one one very faint light remaining which quickly disappeared.

Anybody driving on north-bound Hwy 99 at this time, about 6:00 p.m. couldn't have missed these lights.

The cluster of lights was more or less randomly spread as if a 12 gauge shotgun had been fired into a wooden board from about 20 - 30 feet away.

The lights were in no particular arrangement within the cluster, but they were more or less evenly spaced.

About one hour later, I was outside again. The cloud cover was dissipating and I could see the moon and some stars through clear patches in the clouds. I saw two more bright lights approaching from the southeast, but I assumed these were just typical commercial jet liners since I often see them when I'm outside smoking, making their usual approach to PDX.

As I watched, the two jets did not follow the regular pattern, and they were also flying very low , under the dissipating cloud cover. They didn't have the usual lights. They were headed directly toward the point where the batch of bright yellow/orange lights faded away. 

They were going very fast, but not producing a significant amount of noise even as they passed nearly directly overhead. I assume they were military jets.

I had a UFO sighting experience many years ago and didn't think I would even witness another sighting, but this one was for real. Unless it was a very elaborate and well-financed hoax of some sort, I just can't think of any rational explanation for what we saw.

30 To 40 Silent Orange Balls Of Light Over Centerville Minnesota

Time:  Approx: 4:40 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Hi, just writing about what my wife and I seen on Saturday night 12-22-2012. We seen at least 30-40 orange balls of light coming from the north then ending up at the same spot and fading away. The time was just at sunset about 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

We watched for about 20 minutes but they were there before I noticed them. No noise and they were all the same size appearing to be traveling at the same speed.

 

Was the weirdest thing we've seen. We live in Centerville, MN.

Rectangular Cluster Of About 24-30 Red/Orange Lights Over Palm Beach Gardens Florida

My mother and I were going to the store getting in the car and I looked behind me and between the two houses I saw a almost rectangular cluster off about 24-30 red/orange lights (bright as big as planes) all together moving like a wave. 

I kept screaming to my mom, "what is that". They moved all together very bright, and a lot of them. (This was at 7:01 Easter time in Palm Beach Gardens Florida to the west).

I tried to get my camera I have a picture, but it is not very good because they are small looking and it was dark).

They moved and separated, but not very fast in groups and got further from each other and then just faded away 2 or 3 at a time until only 3 and then 2 and then 1.  This all lasted about less then 6 minutes. Amazing.

We looked in the locale paper to see wedding or anything else that could explain the lights. Even large balloons would have to be really big. To be that bright and the fact that they all separated and moved at the same time it had to be a sighting.

I've never seen anything even close to this, but once we saw it and looked it up it looks like every UFO sighting I've see on the Internet.

30 Orange Lights Flying In The Sky Over Bellflower California

My son and I saw around 30 of them about 40 or so minutes ago we live in southern California, Bellflower to be exact.

They hung there silent and still for about 5 minutes then just disappeared.

As I stood there more and more kept coming. They would either fall or shoot straight upward some of them appeared to crash into one another and then they too would just fade away.

This went on for several minutes and I have never seen anything like that in my life

20 To 30 Orange Colored Lights Flew Over Auburndale Florida

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Tonight, November 10, 2012 at about 8:30 we were traveling toward Lake Alfred from I-4 on 557, before we got to the middle school we saw at least 20, but maybe as many as 30 orange lights in the sky, slightly twinkling and seemed to be moving fairly slow.

Other traffic was on the road too. We were amazed, lasted for several minutes, maybe 5?

We pulled over, as did some other cars, and tried to get a picture, but it was like in the movies, all fumbling around and just didn't work out.

Don't know what it was. Have done a little searching around. I know other people saw this, and at least a few were like us. By the way, we live in Auburndale.

Around 30 Round Orange Lights Spotted Over Sullivan's Island South Carolina

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Round orange lights in a single-file formation were moving slowly and noiselessly in a synchronized, due north direction across the night sky.

Taking their height into account, they might have appeared to be a slow-moving formation of helicopters, but they would have made a sound.

Also, these lights 'diminished' in number from sight, as the lights, a few at a time and then all of them eventually, faded out, like a wicker lantern does.

30 Feet In Diameter Glowing Blue Disc Shaped UFO Over Raleigh North Carolina

When I was a kid I would lay on the hood of my dad’s station wagon on cold winter nights and watch satellites drift by, hoping that one day I would see something I could not explain. I kept an image journal and made sketches of the light configurations of aircraft and helicopters so I could compare them with a probable UFO. Not once did I see anything unusual.

A few months ago when I was driving home from the grocery store I finally I witnessed something which defied explanation. I compared what I saw to my vast knowledge of aerial vehicles both civilian and military, as well as other light and weather phenomena, and nothing matched. 

I immediately drove back to the spot where I saw the object and looked for reflections in the windshield, expecting that I would be able to write it off as a house or street lamp, or one of those spotlights auto dealerships like to use to draw attention. 

I came up dry. Despite all of my attempts to explain what I saw, I couldn’t.

What I saw at roughly 6:00 p.m. on February 10th of 2012 was a dimly glowing blue disc which shot down the entire visible length of Six Forks Road between Wake Forest Road and the Belt Line, a considerable distance. 

There were no clouds or mist from which light could reflect. The image flew perfectly straight at an altitude of roughly 1200 feet and an estimated velocity of 250 mph. It remained disc shaped and adjusted appropriately with distance and angle. 

The dull blue color was very faint, but certainly a glow as though it were its own light source rather than being the result of a light source such as a flashlight, etc. The size of this object I approximated to be 30 feet in diameter. 

It made no sound, had no navigation lights, and did not repeat. The entire event lasted no longer than 3 seconds, which sounds short, but when you count it out it is actually a significant amount of time to view an object.

It has been long enough that if anyone else out there saw the same thing you may only have a vague recollection of the image. Even so, I’d like to hear every detail of your eyewitness account. Additionally, I wish to invite you to share any experience involving a UFO no matter how bizarre. This little sexpot wants to believe.

We at first thought it might be a convoy of helicopters, but with absolutely no noise and they were too big. The lights arrived very slowly, in groups, and disappeared rather slowly, with 2 or 3 trailing. Very unusual and hard to describe.

20 To 30 Bright Orange Lights Over Putney Vermont

Time:  Around 9:50 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Hey Brian, I'm currently at school in Putney, Vermont, and around 9:50 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. tonight, my friend and I were walking across a pasture to the main campus, facing north, and in the distance, we noticed around 20-30 bright orange lights in the sky.

The lights were moving up and down, back and forth, and hovering in a somewhat collected area. Some were flying very close to the ground, and they formed a constellation-like pattern. Looking at them, we could see what looked like fairly thin red beams which appeared to not only to be directed towards Earth, but also seemed to connect to the other lights at times.

The way that the lights were moving and how they were staying in the same general area, makes me believe that they were almost searching for something. Some of the lights ended up forming a trail leading from the ground up, and then the group took on a Y-shaped formation.

They stayed like that for a little bit, and then the formation broke up, but they stayed in the same area, hovering and moving around. A minute later, I turned my head, my friend still watching the lights, and right as my head turned, they vanished before my friends eyes.

We stayed outside in the area afterwards, and we both believe to have seen them reappear in the distance looking out over New Hampshire. We stood and watched the original sighting for around 25 minutes until they vanished. Afterwards, there were also sporadic lights identical to the UFO's around the area that would appear briefly and then vanish. Around 10:40 p.m., we also noticed a bright orange glow in the distance in an area to the right of where the cluster was, from behind a mountain.

It looked similar to light pollution, but the color was fiery and hazy, and there has never been light pollution, or any glow at all from that area, and I swear to have seen reddish orbs moving within the glow. It may have been the moon though, and after the initial sighting, my mind has been starting to turn other things into UFO's or such, but still, I think it is interesting to note.

There have been a very strange number of planes flying through tonight, very distinguishable from the UFO's, with many appearing to be jets, or at least not commercial airliners, another interesting note. Since then, I have seen 3 more odd lights in the sky.

One stayed stationary for a while, but as we walked in the direction of it, it started to fly, appearing like a plane, then vanished after it flew over us. More recently, a very bright orb, very similar to the UFO's appeared on the horizon to the right of the initial sighting, staying somewhat still, but flashing and changing colors.

The astronomy teacher has noticed a very similar one in the same area, but has noted that it is not a planet, star, or anything he could name, and does not know what it could be. Anyway, the light was slowly moving up, hovering left and right slightly, but gradually rose higher and higher.

I thought at first it may have been a planet, but that idea was shot down when a jet flew by us, and as the jet passed by the light, said light moved rather quickly to the right.

Anyway, the initial sighting and what we proceeded to watch was unlike anything I have ever seen, and my mind is unable to get off of the topic of these UFO's. I have a feeling of anxiety when looking at the stars now, and the curiosity I have now is overwhelming. I would really like to hear of more of these similar sightings that occurred tonight.

20 To 30 Red Lights Flew Over Minneapolis Minnesota

Date:  August 18, 2012
Time:  Between 9:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.

Brian, we were on the roof of a downtown Minneapolis last night and so many (probably 20-30) reddish orange lights flying off in the distance. They came from the MSP airport direction (from the south heading north east) and disappeared into the clouds. 

They flew a few at a time in very close formation. There were aircraft flying lower and they were obviously airplanes, but these looked like just reddish orange dots. 

They came in waves of two or three at a time for several minutes. There may have been more that flew before we noticed. There were four of us witnessing this. We couldn't figure out what they were. 

I can't say what time it was, but my guess is it was somewhere between 9:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. 

I was Googling to see if I could find out what we saw this morning and found your blog.  Let me know what you find out.  Very interesting.

30 To 40 Bright Orange Lights Flying Over Chicago Illinois

Date:  August 11, 2012
Time:  8:55 p.m.

My Mom was in the yard and started to yell to me. I was in the basement.

I thought someone was robbing the backyard. I ran out, and she said look up and I saw 30-40 bright orange lights hovering in a circular formation moving slowly from the north to southwest.

It must have lasted near 4 minutes. I ran in after 10 seconds thinking this must be a UFOs sighting. I never seen anything like this! I ran in to find camera to no avail. These light reminded me of a group of orange fireflies, but were very bright and circular moving.

I have no idea, but the meteor shower was tonight said the news and all air traffic in Chicago was closed said the news over Chicago because President was visiting his home this weekend in Chicago.

Also I did not hear any sound emanating from the cluster of orange lights nor did my Mother.
                 
Someone in southwest suburb on the computer also says they seen a similar cluster of flying orange lights. Anyone else? I never seen anything like this.

Around 30 Red Colored Lights Seen In The Sky From Holbrook New York

Time: Evening.

I didn’t think anyone would believe me. I didn’t say anything until my father-in-law came out and I showed him.

I was in Holbrook at that time and saw the red lights flying in formation two by two at "normal" speed from a south to kind of north direction in an area that could be considered Ronkonkoma.

They followed the same path over and over. I saw in total of maybe 30 of the "lights".

My father-in-law saw the last 8 or so. My mother-in-law saw the last 4 or so.
