6 Red/Orange Objects In The Sky Over Boca Raton Florida

 Date: September 9, 2014
Time:  8:10 p.m.

At 8:10 tonight I saw a large red/orange object in the sky. I thought it was Mars until I saw another one to the southeast of the first one. They were moving steadily, but slower than a plane.

When I turned around I saw a much closer one travelling in the same formation travelling west. I was able to see that the bottom was fire and above the fire was a white vertical sleeve. Three more followed.

Unfortunately as they continued west and they went into clouds and disappeared. Nobody in the newly formed crowd could identify what it was. We originally thought hot air balloons, but the shape was wrong and the fire was constant without making any noise.

We dismissed the idea of drones and satellites because of the fire. We have no idea what they were.

Silent Orange Circular Light Floating Over Boca Raton Florida (Picture)

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

A few nights ago (7/28/14) I viewed a silent orange circular light floating (around 8:30 p.m.) across the night sky for 30 seconds before it suddenly disappeared, it was as if a light switch turned it off.

No stars were visible as it was fairly overcast and it was flying in opposite direction of a nearby plane (which had the usual flashing lights, as I see and hear planes frequently and close by landing at Boca Municipal Airport a few miles from my house).

I would say 1000-2000 feet in altitude at a slow speed (perhaps that of a small propeller driven plane).

Two White Objects Floating In The Sky Over Boca Raton Florida

Place: Lyons road palmetto pk road.

Description of objects: Two white orbs with a faint aura around them. The two objects were floating in the sky, they remained separated from each other, however they were relatively close in distance, the distance between them never changed. 

The objects were located NE in the sky and started to move ENE at a very slow speed until it was difficult to see them. The orbs were visible for about 20 minutes.

20 To 30 Orange Lights In The Sky Over West Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 12:15 a.m.

My husband and I were driving north in West Boca Raton, Florida around 12:15 a.m.

We both saw 20-30 orange orbs in a constellation like pattern (the only one we could recognize was something that looked like the big/little dipper).

They were about 1,500 feet in the air. At first, they were stationary, and then the pattern condensed or contracted.

They moved relatively slowly, and eventually they began to disappear in a random order. A few remained when a large firework exploded in their general area, and they all disappeared at once.

I would have liked to explain them as being Chinese lanterns, as I have seen many people suggest on the internet, but they moved in a way that no wind could have moved them (i.e. condensing them in the exact pattern they were hovering in).

My husband and I have seen several similar reports of this in the area and are quite perplexed by the sighting.

Orange Lights In The Sky Over Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Around 11:00 p.m., a friend and myself spotted to orange lights in the sky over my house. It also had one blinking red light.

 

Then all the lights went out but one orange light. It was flying low and you couldn't hear it.

My friend thought it was a stealth.

3 Red/Orange Lights Floating Over West Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Tonight is the first sighting for me. I saw three when I walked out the door at around 9:30 p.m. I also thought that they were some sort of lantern, but also told myself they had to be something else because they wouldn't take the same path.

I watched two of them go north, then west. Lost track of the third because of trees.

Very odd, what are they?

Forgot to mention that this sighting was also in the west Boca area, 441 and Oriole Country Road.

Identified flying object of serve January first at 2:37 a.m. traveling from west to east an accelerated speed and then slowly headed north at an accelerated speed with non traditional flight pattern and red and orange lights on a disc shaped object.

Bright Green Light Travels Across The Sky Near Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

We were heading south on I-95 at about 10:15 p.m. from Delray and saw a bright green light traveling across the sky near Boca Raton.  It was moving at a high rate of speed from west to east.

My wife thought it was a plane at first, but it was moving way too fast. It looked like it might have gone down near the ocean. It was definitely something our of the ordinary.

Red Lights Spotted Flying Over Boca Raton Florida

Time:  Approx: 10:10 p.m.

My wife and I just walked outside and saw these lights. We were astonished.

No explanation for what it could have been. We did take an I-Phone video, but it is too hard to see the lights in the video.=

Additional Information:

Boca Raton, Florida. I was looking west and the lights were moving to the northeast at approximately 10:10 p.m. I'm not someone who ever thought if report a sighting, but this was unusual.

Red Orange Colored Lights Flying Over Boca Raton Florida

Time:  8:35 p.m.

 

Hi, I saw your article online while I was trying to find other people who have seen what I saw last night in Boca Raton, Florida. I was driving south on Jog Road at 8:35 p.m. when I noticed several reddish orange lights in the sky. I thought at first that it was a tower of some sort with lights on the side because they were sort of staggered in height.

 

Then my mom noticed that they were moving very slowly. At first there were about 7 lights moving from southeast to northwest. They looked like they were closer than an airplane would fly, but farther than a balloon or Chinese lanterns. After the first group disappeared, another smaller group came over the same exact path.

 

Then a third even smaller group came by with two almost touching each other but separating and continuing to fly noiselessly over the main highway. I turned my car around to chase them but they were already too far away so I went back to the original location.

 

I stopped the car and waited, and one more appeared and followed the same path as the others. I sat for a while longer and no more passed over. I called the news station, and I was told that others had called to report the sightings, but that they get around a hundred calls every weekend about the same thing.

 

He said that they have been seen several times by many people in the area, but they (the news team) have been unable to find out what they are. He said they contacted the airport to see if it was some type of experimental mechanism or if they knew anything about it, and they said that they didn't.

 

The news station has been investigating, but so far have had no luck in identifying what this is. I have read that this phenomenon is taking place all over the world, but no one can say exactly what it is. Very interesting.

Fireball Sighted In Boca Raton, Florida

Today while driving home from work I saw a fireball fall straight through the sky. I didn't know where to report it, so I Goggled recent sightings and found your address and thought I would report it to you. It was very strange, any thoughts? Who should I tell.
