Round Bright Orange UFO Shot Straight Upward And Gone Over La Grande Oregon

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside in front of house BBQ some burgers.

My wife happened to be outside talking to me when we looked into the southwestern sky from our home and noticed a strange orange round object kind of seemed as though it was either lightly moving toward us or parallel to us in the sky.

It seemed to most likely to be somewhere around 5,000 feet up, or maybe a little higher in the sky.

We thought it maybe a life flight coming toward the hospital, or maybe a plane, but no other lights and not really moving in any real direction.

My wife went into the house to get plate and when she returned I was looking up at the object. As I heard her return, the object shot straight up and out of sight in not more then a second.

At one moment it was right there in full view and very bright and clear and then gone, straight up out of sight.

I noticed the light went from full size, to a pin hole size to gone in no time. I asked my wife if she had just seen what happened, and she was not looking at it at that moment.

It was a totally clear night with a partial moon and a few stars in the sky.

We were amazed that it was just gone out of sight so fast. Not sure what we saw, but whatever it was, left faster then anything known to man kind.

Bright Red/Orange Lights Seen Flying Over La Puente California

Time:  7:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, my family witnessed the bright reddish/orange lights I have been reading about on the internet tonight. My husband and son-in-law were in the backyard and at 7:00 p.m. they saw the first reddish/orange orb slowly moving by across the sky. 

Three minutes later another one passed slowly by in the same direction. My son-in-law ran in to tell us what they saw and then went back outside. A few minutes later he ran back in and said another one was passing by.

It was 7:10 pm. We all ran outside and watched in amazement as this strange light slowly moved across the sky. This one seemed closer, they said, and it seemed to have waves of heat or perhaps flames when it turned a certain angle.

It was really hard to tell as you know how your eyes play tricks on you when you stare at a light for a long period of time. 
   
We live in La Puente, California. I am really interested to find out if others in our area saw the same thing. A good video I found that shows exactly what we saw was taken tonight by a man in Arizona.

Large Ball Of Bright Light Fell From The Sky Over Carlsbad Near La Costa In California

I just read your article after getting on line to see if anyone had posted anything on what I just saw. I saw exactly as you describe a very large ball of bright light just appeared in the sky and then it fell straight down very rapidly into the dark.

I was waiting to see a burst of flame or something. I did freak when I saw it, because I was sitting by a window talking to someone looking out the window, when in appeared in the distance.

The person I was talking to had their back turned to the window.

When I saw it, I gasped and pointed out the window and said OMG, look at that what is that, he got annoyed that I cut him off of his conversation and I gasped at what I saw.

He would not look, but I know what I saw. I ran down to the computer to see if anyone posted anything.

I was sitting by a window that over looks the city below and I believe it looks north of the I-5 or the 405. I do not know this area very well, but I do know what I saw, and want to know what it was. 

I am in Carlsbad near La Costa in California it was between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. when I saw it. It was very clear out and it was way to big to be a star.

Bright Orange Ball Of Flame In The Sky Over La Porte Indiana

At 8:30 pm tonight I saw and orange ball of flame traveling from SE to NW.  At first it was so bright I thought it as the moon through the trees and when is moved out from behind the trees, I thought it was a plane on fire. 

It traveled across the sky until it disappeared in some clouds. It was definitely not a plane.

Flame Like Lights Spotted In The Sky Over La Grange Illinois (Pictures)

Time:  Between 8:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

I Googled flame like lights in IL and came across your sight. Tonight 8/4/12 at between 8:45 p.m. and about 9:00 p.m. we saw a line of flame like/amber orbs crossing the sky from west to east.

We believe that there were about 7-12 in total. 

The first line was the longest with at least 6 then there were some straggling one that past by.

We only got a few not so great pictures from our I phone and personal camera no video.

They really don't do the image we saw over our home any justice! 

Honestly it was spooky and looked almost war of the worlds with the way they moved across the sky in almost perfect lines.

Two Circular Orange Objects In The Sky Above La Habra California

Time:  11:20 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Standing in my driveway talking to a neighbor when I/we saw what looked like an orange glowing fireball stationary in the north sky at about 60 degrees to horizontal and at a very high altitude.

 

It remained in the same position, however it did vary in luminescence over a period of 60 seconds or so and without any noise whatsoever. It was roughly 50 times brighter that any other celestial body and was in the opposite position of the moon in the night sky.

 

I did notice that the corona of the object appeared to "revolve" around the main body, as if it were spinning. It slowly began to wane in its brightness, but I was able to see that it had not changed in position in the sky.

 

It disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared. At times it had the appearance of a four pointed star as seen in many drawings and films.

Shockingly Bright Orange Globe/Light Seen In The Sky From LA To Camp Pendleton California

 

Date:  April 9, 2012

Time:  Around 11:45 p.m. and 12:00 a.m..

 

My girlfriend and I were driving from Los Angeles to San Diego, much like this couple and we could see the shockingly bright orange globe all the way from LA to Camp Pendleton, until which point it disappeared behind the hills that line the coast.

 

We were shocked at it’s brightness, and just before the light went out of view, we thought we saw a smoke trail rising above the orb between about 11:45 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. We'd love to know what this might have been.

 

We've never seen anything in the sky that made us think "aliens" quite like this.

Pulsing Bright Light Hovers Then Starts Moving Over La Selva Beach California

Time: Approx: 7:15 p.m.

I am from La Selva Beach, California and I was looking south, possibly around Moss Landing to Marina at about 7:15pm Sunday January 23, 2011. I was driving on San Andreas Road and saw a light above the hillside horizon of my perspective and probably about 5 - 7 miles away at approximately 5,000 feet above sea level. It was stationary and very bright, singular and circular and off white in color and blinking on and off.

I pulled off the road and eventually got out of my car to watch this odd spectacle.

Nobody else drove by during the three minutes that I watched. It eventually stopped pulsing and maintained a constant brightness as it began to finally start moving. It traveled toward the east and in all honesty, began to take on the look of an aircraft.

However, make no doubt, this could not have been a plane as I watched it hovering. Could it have been a helicopter? There was no sound, but it was probably too far to hear if that had been the case. However, everything in me said that this was way to still to be a helicopter. Furthermore, the odd pulsing light was very different than anything I have ever seen in the sky. Take Care.

Over Whittier, La Habra, Brea California UFOs Appear And Disappear

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I just ran into your story on the UFOs seen over the skies in the Anaheim, Brea area last January. The story sounds very familiar to what I have witnessed on various occasions over the course of a week. The objects could be seen in the sky from various points stretching from the 605 freeway in Whittier, even as far out as the 5 freeway on Beach Blvd. Numerous times we watched the two objects stay stationary for long periods of time and then within a second, they would quickly disappear and reappear elsewhere in the sky. From disappearance to reappearance, the area covered was fast. They seemed to stay in the same perimeter above the skies spanning from Whittier to Brea.

We also witnessed two other objects and very much like one of last year's witnesses, one appeared to be an airplane and the other a helicopter. It seemed like their interest and purpose in the sky were to cover the two objects. Over the course of the past 2 months, there has been constant helicopter and airplane activity in the skies above the area. Helicopters pass by an average of 25 times a day, most of the activity occurs during the night, about 15-20 fly-by's every night. We are in the path of a route heading towards LAX but this amount of activity I have never witnessed in the 15+ years I have lived in the area. The planes also pass far too close in intervals, about 1 every minute sometimes. I'm not much of an aviation enthusiast but if I'm not mistaken, I do think that the airplanes would keep greater distance between each other to avoid any mishap and misfortune.

La Mesa, San Diego County, California Bright Point Of Light

Shape of objects: Round, white, shimmering point of light about the size of Jupiter as it appears this time of year....passed very near Jupiter as a matter of fact.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: Very bright point of light, white, no other lights at all, was shimmering with spoke light radiating from it, was not blinking in any way, appeared to sway in the sky from side to side but this could of been a optical illusion, was moving about as fast as a airliner would at full cruise, appeared to be at least that high as well, say 30,000 ft , but could of been much higher, moved from the northern horizon out of the big dipper when I first saw it, moving in a southeasterly direction, tracked it till it got to within maybe 15 degrees of Jupiter to the east , about 8 o'clock, at this point the object suddenly lost all of it's illumination within a few seconds, fading to red, then gone, completely gone. This is interesting because I am very close to the AAA building where that woman saw a entity of some sort at around 2:00 PM earlier in the day, this could of possibly have been a very large satellite but again , from my perspective, it appeared to be much lower. I am not a "trained observer"
