Green Fireball/Meteor Seen Flying Over Queens New York City

I just saw the same thing last night. 1-21-13 at 11:58 p.m. I figured it would be all over the news.

This was in Queens NYC. I feel like I'm the only one that saw it.

Object Appeared Orange With Short Thick Tail Seen Flying Over Kew Gardens Queens New York

Date:  January 5, 2013
Time:  6:38 p.m.

Same time, 6:38 p.m. Kew Gardens Queens New York heading south as if along Lefferts Blvd, crossing Austin St.

Looked very orange with a short thick tail, not a big long tail, and no trail. I could not track it more than one outstretched  hand width before disappearing behind buildings in my sight line.

Multiple Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Queens New York

Date:  July 27, 2012
Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

On or about 11:00 p.m. on Friday night 7/27/12. I noticed what appeared to be 3 orange lights in the sky. At first I thought they were airplanes, but I looked around and noticed some airplanes (I leave near Laguardia Airport NY) they did not compare.

The 3 lights then turned into 4, then 5 and finally 6. By this time many other people had noticed and began looking on also in shock.

Some lights appeared to pass others in height and distance and then came back to each other. This lasted for about 15 minutes when the lights totally faded out.

It was very spooky and freaked us all out.

Blue/Teal Colored Flash In The Sky Over Queens New York

Time:  Approx: 3:00 a.m.

I live in on the border of queens by by JFK Airport and I got home late from a concert and I was in my backyard when I saw a flash. I grew up next to this airport and I'm 25 I've never seen something so bright before with no explanation.

It was a blue/teal flash that occurred a couple times giving of an illusion of daylight. There were no planes in the air due to Cloud cover. I also used to work for the US army parachute team, nothing I can think of can cause that light I had Goosebumps for about 30 minutes after the event.

4 Lights Then 8 Seen In The Sky Over Bayside Queens New York

Hi Brian, I too saw those strange lights last night at 12:30 a.m. and I live in Bayside Queens NY.  What was it?

How come it is not publicized on the news or anything. They were like lights playing a game of appearing and disappearing. There were four then eight and they kept repeating their pattern.

Can you tell me what it was.

4 Lights Separate Into 8 Lights And Seen Over Flushing Queens New York

 

Date:  April 3 into April 4, 2012

Time:  12:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.

 

Vike Factor Note: I had a comment left which mentioned that the lights were  a “spotlight”. I cannot confirm this, since I can’t ask the person if they actually saw the spotlight. Sounds like it just might be this. So if anyone does know for sure, could you let me know.

 

Hey, I saw the same 4 lights. I just got in my house it 2:30 a.m. and they were out since 12:00 a.m. along with 3 others stood there watching with the security guard.

 

The 4 lights separated into 8, then went back to 4 after the gap in the went away. Their movement slowed down when they were 4, but rather fast when 8.

 

I’m super excited, so I know my punctuation sucks right now typing on my phone. Sorry, but I also took 2 videos that are kind of dark, but you can see the movement.

Four Lights Observed In The Sky Above Forest Hills Border Lining Flushing Queens New York

Time:  Evening.

 

Hi, I live in the pocket section of Forest Hills, border lining Flushing, Corona and Rego Park near The Forest Hills Co-op Housing Projects.

 

I’m seeing/saw the same 4 lights in the sky, they seem to be hovering and circling around the area.

 

I have no idea what they are, but this is my second sighting of them in the same spot within the past two months. I'm just coming home, but I've been seeing them since the sun went down.

4 Lights Circling One Another Over Jamaica Queens New York

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

Hi, I live in Jamaica, Queens and saw similar lights. It was four lights circling each other, then came together and then kept repeating the same pattern.

 

I first saw this occurrence at around 9:00 p.m., but it continued for a few hours. No person can have such strong lights, taking under consideration the price of such lights.

 

Also, after calling friends that live miles away, they claimed they saw similar lights. The lights seems as if they were directly above us, no matter how far we walked.

 

The lights were really high up in the sky and a lot of people saw it. Does anyone have any explanations? It has to be UFOs!

White Lights In The Clouds Seen Over Ozone Park Queens New York

Hello, last night March 24th, 2012, many people in the Ozone Park area of Queens, New York, saw white lights in the clouds that were swirling around, it looked as if someone with a flashlight was inside the clouds swirling the flashlight around.

 

It was coming from inside the clouds and many other people saw it too.

Orange Object Seen Left Of The Empire State Building In Queens New York

 

Date:  December 2, 2011

Time:  Approx: 12:10 a.m.

 

From my window in Queens, NY, I can see the Empire State Bldg. While looking out the window a few minutes after midnight, there was a bright orange crescent to the left of the Empire State building. At first I thought it was the moon, but the moon isn't that low in the sky and not in the distance to the left of the bldg.

 

The crescent lowered in the sky and I could see a full orange circle. It moved on the right of the bldg. and then descended. This only lasted a few minutes. I've told a few members of my family and they think I'm a little crazy.

 

But I know what I saw. Did anyone in the NYC area see this also?
