Hi Brian, I just finished reading an article of yours in the American Chronicle about the Crop Duster Pilot operating near Tranquility California in 1978. His description of the orange glowing craft brought back memories of an incident that occurred in the quiet farming country of South Texas, (Harlingen area) in the mid seventies.

As kids, we spent many nights on our backs in the yard looking at stars and satellites tracking across the skies. One night around 10:00 pm we saw an orange object speed across the sky, then stop momentarily and descend toward the ground a few miles from us. The entire landing area was lit up with the orange glow. We were quite upset, and ran inside insisting our parents call the authorities. They didn't, but years later admitted they saw similar objects.

After decades of reading on the subject, the Crop Duster Pilot's description is the closest to what we witnessed. Most Fascinating. Keep up the great work.
