I also saw the "fireball" last night (10-6-12) and have not been able to find anything about it until now!
Additional Information:
I saw this UFO at around 8:00 p.m. last night over the Lake Elsinore/Wildomar area in California. I have only been able to find one other person who also saw it because it disappeared so quickly.
That person said it was orange, but I would say it was a big white ball. It zig zagged through the sky then would fly straight, almost looking like a comet. Then, it disappeared.
I was driving on the freeway and it was a bit far away to get a picture or video. I am a huge UFO/alien activist and I was very excited to finally see something for myself.

i saw this last night too ! but there was a total of 6 .
at firstr there was three and they did the zig zag motion with a tail and then disappeared. then as everyone came out to look 3 more just appeared out of no where !
Hey I saw it to ... it was trippy and it lasted for a long time almost like the last one over lake elsinore but this one was weird.... It was a ball of fire flying side to side and then it dropped down in a spiral motion and out of nowhere these 3 balls of light in a triangle flew rite to it and then it diseperd ....
