Orange Light Spotted Over Dallas Texas

Date:  September 2, 2012
Time:  About 8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

About 8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on 9-2-12 an orange light was approaching in the sky. First thought it was a plane coming from the south with a bad landing light. As it got closer and above me, it looked more like flames, but no trailing smoke.

There was no sound as it continued its northward travel.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

My husband and I saw one of these when we were driving back from White Rock Lake along Mockingbird and were still in the neighborhood areas east of Abram's Road. It came from the direction of the lake, crossed the road and we followed it into a neighborhood area. We got out of the car as it continued very low above us, it looked like a ball of fire. The funny thing was while there were other people who also looked up and stared, the majority of people never looked up. The ball then went at a 90% angle further up into the sky. We've both seen UFO's before, (and no, neither of us do any drugs), but they seemed like technology. This thing seemed almost like a natural phenonmenon no one had taught us about in science class! LOL!

When I posted about this on FaceBook several months ago, I was impressed that two other friends of ours had seen the same thing, one the same night we saw it, and another during their childhood several decades ago.

I'm glad to see we aren't the only ones who have seen things like this in the area. It would be interesting to ask the Caddo, Apache or Choctaw if they have any names or legends about these balls of fire in the White Rock Lake area.

Two weeks ago a friend was telling me the same story when he and his wife were walking at White rock lake at 8:30.
I listened like I believed him until we went to white rock lake and saw it again. This time when the light disappeared we looked to the west and saw the flying craft
