Hey there, I also witnessed a bright green glowing object with a long, tapering tail speeding across night sky. It looked as if it would crash close by.
It was headed down towards the Earth at quite a high speed. I have never, ever witnessed such a spectacular event.
I was headed southwest on Hwy. 5 driving from Stillwater to Lake Elmo, MN around 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012.
It was clear outside and this object would have been hard to miss if one was also outside and happened to see it.
