Orange Ball Of Light Flying Over Corona Del Mar Newport Beach California

Time:  Approx: 11:35 p.m.

 

I saw a round, orange ball of light, like a large hot air balloon, traveling at the speed of an airplane, southeast to northwest.  It hovered over Corona del Mar nearly overhead, slightly to the southwest, for one minute, moving backwards slightly.

 

It then extinguished its central light, and continued on at the same speed to the northeast, which I could see through my binoculars. Clear skies, 68 degrees.

Corona, California Lights Do A Figure Eight And Other Odd Maneuvers

Full Description of event/sighting: They looked at first like bright stars. We watched them for at least 45 minutes. They would move straight up and down, they would challenge each other by coming very close to one another then quickly pulling away. At one point, they did a figure 8 rotation around each other. We're not sure if it was UFO's, but it was extremely odd and we've never, never seen anything move in the sky at these did. The lights would come on and off, get bright, then dim. Every now and then, we'd see a red light similar to an airplane.

Corona, California Round Light

Weather Conditions: Mostly Clear.

Description: I live in Eagle Geln and taking my puppy out when I saw a bright white light so white it looked blue moving erratically and then disappearing. Would then reappear it also looks like it would land and turn off it lights. Sometime the light would turn red. It was not an aircraft or helicopter as nothing could move that way. I viewed this for about 5 minutes and called my husband and mother. I thought it had disappeared for good but it reappeared about 10 minutes later. I found my RCA small wonder camera and begin to film but it was about 3 or 4 miles away and the camera is kind of cheap and it looked further away than what was filmed.

It was over the Cleveland National Forest. When my mom arrived it has disappeared but then we say a very bright white light we thought perhaps a car light but the light traveled low on the hill going east and there is no road there. I called 911 to report around 10:45 PM and they asked if something had crashed and I said no it was an aircraft not from here. It looked like they sent out fire department or a car went to look behind The Retreat in the Cleveland National Forest the object would disappear or turn lights off. I have video and will try to post shortly as my computer is downloading it very slowly. I will also report to UFO hotline 206-722-3000. I have heard there have been recent reports in the Corona area in the paper, etc. If you also saw this please post.

Corona, California A Shinning Slow Rotating UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: While I was enjoying floating in a swimming pool with some friends, I happened to look up at some wispy clouds toward the north. Just above the clouds a shinning object caught my eye. I called attention to it to my friends in the water with me. It seem to be rotating slowly as the light reflecting off it pulsed. It's reflectiveness was that of chrome plating. I would estimate it's elevation at 10,000 feet. I would compare it's size to a be-be shot at arms length. At first, the object seem to meander around in a small circle. As I observed it further, it seem to be coming toward me. It stopped a moment and then proceeded to circle around itself. From the reference point of the clouds, it seem to move below the cloud level from where I first observed it. I continued viewing it and as I did so, the object slowly moved toward the north until it was out of sight. The relative wind direction was from the west. This, I thought would rule out a balloon because a balloon would not move in such a coordinated manner as this object did and against the wind direction. The total observational time was twenty five minutes. Persons witnessing this event with me are: (four witnesses names removed)
