Bright Blue Light Lights Up The Sky And Loud Boom Heard At Benton Township Dalton Pennsylvania

Time:  Between 11:40 p.m. and midnight.

I live in Dalton, Pennsylvania. This is about 8 miles north of Scranton going towards Binghamton New York, near Factoryville, PA and the Lackawanna State Park to be exact.

It was between 11:40 and Midnight. I was just exiting route 407 to go onto route 438 to get home from work when I saw a bright blue light that lit up the sky.

I thought it was lightning, but it was  a different kind of light.

It was a steady light, but only last a few seconds like lightning would.

I am not the only one in my area who saw this, so I know it was not my imagination and I am glad to have found the blog where you posted this. Now at least you know it was not just contained to your own area.

It was seen miles and miles from where another person was. 

Thanks for sharing! We also heard a huge boom like noise over more than a 5 mile radius in our area several minutes after seeing the blue light from the sky. My Facebook friend lives in Factoryville.

I live in Benton township near a town called Fleetville and we both heard the boom. I thought maybe a transformer of some kind went down, but I don't think effects like that can be spread over such a large area, however I am unsure, that is just my personal opinion.

Bright White Light With Long Blue Tail And Sound Heard Over Somersworth New Hampshire

Hello, my name is (name removed), I actually was in Somersworth New Hampshire and saw it around late, ten something at night.

For us after the long blue tailed streak was ending, it made I bright white light and small crack sound in the sky.

That was instant from when the blue tail ended the white flash started and it was gone.

I was very curious what this was. Did you come up with anything indicating what was the source of this January 19, 2013?

Bright Glow In The Sky And Slight Roar Heard Over Chesapeake Virginia

Time:  8:15 p.m.

Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Three tightly clustered glowing spheres.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While walking towards my house from my backyard (15 yards away), a slight roar was heard towards the SSE. As an aircraft mechanic, I noticed the bright glow and sound very uncharacteristic of most rockets.

The craft were headed ENE, decreasing in size rapidly with altitude. The glow seemed to flash somewhat just before disappearing behind a layer of cirrus clouds. At first sighting, they were slightly smaller than my thumb and decreased to the size of a pencil eraser.

FYI: I'm near the approach to Norfolk International Airport and hear aircraft over at a US Navy Auxiliary Landing Field, so aircraft noise is typical, but very few aircraft have been flying today.

Heard A Close Fast Moving Circular Object Engulfed In White Light Cabo Rojo Puerto Rico

Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico: July 31st, 2012 at approximately 3:00 a.m.

I was in my bed when I heard a sound like someone moving stuff in the living room.

My brother heard it too, but my dad was the one to see it in the sky.

What he saw was like a circular object, engulfed in a white light, passing by at high speed. Maybe it was a meteor or something, but my dad said that it passed so close and so fast that he actually waited for it to impact.

But nothing, there was no impact, what we all heard and felt was the object travelling by.

My brother thought it was an earthquake, and I was waiting for a thunderstorm, that's how confusing it was.

I'm not hearing any news about a strange object in the sky or a meteor crash, maybe it fell in the ocean, if it ever touched the ground.

Loud Sonic Boom Heard In Goshen Ohio

I live in Goshen, Oh and heard a really loud boom, like a sonic boom, around 9:30 p.m. on 3/20/12. Have heard that many times before. The week before the time change at about 11:30 p.m.

 

It woke me up and it seemed like our windows rattled!

Teal Blue Green Lights Lit Up The Sky And A Humming Sound Heard Over Corvallis Oregon

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Teal blue and green lights lit up the whole sky for about 2 seconds. Immediately after that was a sound like a large hum.

 

Never saw anything like that before, but I am sure someone else in Corvallis had to see this as there are several cars on the road and people going to work.

Possible Bigfoot Noise Heard Twice In Southern Illinois

 

Date:  October 2011 and December 2011

Time:  Between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. and around 10:00 p.m.

 

My wife first heard the whoop whoop noise in October in Southern Illinois. between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. in the morning with some type of growl.

 

Very weird I have hunted all my life and never heard this. Heard this noise again in December 2011 around 10:00 p.m. at night and answered it with the same whoop noise.

 

It responded back one time and I cannot understand what it was. Almost sounded ape like?

Sonic Boom Heard And Woke Many Residents At Wanamaker Indianapolis

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

 

Hello, I heard a loud boom last night (1/14/12). It was at approximately 1:00 a.m. I had neighbors running down the street, garage doors opening to search in vehicles, and people gathered at my neighborhood entrance to look.

 

Mind you this was at a very late hour, and it was very cold out. It takes more than a small sound to stir anyone, let alone the amount of activity I witnessed (I drove around looking for an accident scene as well).

 

I do not know what it was, but there are hundreds of witnesses to whatever it was over here too (Raymond and Franklin Road near Wanamaker).

 

I found it odd that there was no news coverage or explanation. We do not shoot out flares from our fighter jets during most exercises (not necessary, our pilots do not shoot real missiles at each other during exercises)

 

We call "no joy", or fox "trot 1" for example.

 

So the sonic boom can be explained to some extent, but I want to know more about the lights as well.

Ball Shaped Green Light And Witnesses Heard A Boom Over Sedona Arizona

Hi there, we are in Sedona and saw a green light low in the sky, ball-shaped and moving fairly slow. It disappeared behind some trees, don't know if the trees hid it or it disappeared, but a few seconds later we heard a boom. All very exciting! Will look for possible crash site tomorrow.
