Bright Blue Light Lights Up The Sky And Loud Boom Heard At Benton Township Dalton Pennsylvania

Time:  Between 11:40 p.m. and midnight.

I live in Dalton, Pennsylvania. This is about 8 miles north of Scranton going towards Binghamton New York, near Factoryville, PA and the Lackawanna State Park to be exact.

It was between 11:40 and Midnight. I was just exiting route 407 to go onto route 438 to get home from work when I saw a bright blue light that lit up the sky.

I thought it was lightning, but it was  a different kind of light.

It was a steady light, but only last a few seconds like lightning would.

I am not the only one in my area who saw this, so I know it was not my imagination and I am glad to have found the blog where you posted this. Now at least you know it was not just contained to your own area.

It was seen miles and miles from where another person was. 

Thanks for sharing! We also heard a huge boom like noise over more than a 5 mile radius in our area several minutes after seeing the blue light from the sky. My Facebook friend lives in Factoryville.

I live in Benton township near a town called Fleetville and we both heard the boom. I thought maybe a transformer of some kind went down, but I don't think effects like that can be spread over such a large area, however I am unsure, that is just my personal opinion.

Green Light Seen Flying Over Sylvania Township Ohio

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

I was walking/jogging in Sylvania Township at approximately 2:00 a.m., (I have insomnia from the military and working numerous night jobs.) When I saw out of the corner of my eye as I was heading back home a green light that is very similar to the description of this "meteor".

I kept watching as it was descending, I thought it was a plane then realized the airport by my house was the opposite direction and it was descending way too fast for anything not supersonic speed.

Very different and kind of cool to say the least. Kind of caught me off guard because I was looking up trying to find Sagittarius and thinking about space and other random things as it happened.

It was heading north to south from what I could see of it in those few seconds. Any information would be cool to find out exactly what it was.

Red And White Lights Hover Over Intersection At The Clinton Township Michigan

Hi, I was at 16 and Garfield heading east bound on 16 at 8:00 p.m. when I saw 3 red and white lights, like a brake light and head light hover over the intersection.

They then moved northwest over the tree line.

Two Glowing Orange Colored Lights Over Macomb Township Michigan

Time:  Evening.

My name is (name removed) and I live in Macomb Township, Michigan and about 5 minutes ago I was outside and saw two orange glowing/flickering lights in the sky. They hovered closely together for about two minutes, then one of the lights disappeared for about a minute before it reappeared again.

Both of the lights seemed to turn and disappear as though they were moving away from my position. Being a man of aviation, I first thought they might have been helicopters since they were not moving, but after continued observation I concluded they were not like any sort of helicopter positioning lights or spotlights.

I called my friend who lives a mile down the road and she saw the same thing in the sky.

Bright Red Glowing Object Over Egelston Township Muskegon Michigan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My father and myself were taking our two dogs out one last time for the night. Dad said, "what the hell is that". I looked up naturally and there in the sky was a bright not moving at all, red, very red and round glowing, "something".

It was from where we are located, in the N NW sky about 30-35 degrees from the ecliptic. It was stationary. It was so obvious and brilliant, if no one else saw this thing, I will be surprised.

It got brighter then dimmed a little, then got brighter, then seemed to back off a little, and kept doing this in the same spot in the sky for 2 minutes, approximately based on cell phone time that I glanced at as we walked out the door.

Then checked it again after it very, very slowly, while still in the same spot faded, faded, and gone. I have never reported a UFO. I was so amazed by what we had seen,

I had to make a report. It was nothing I have ever seen, and am so curious if anyone else saw it, which if they didn't would just shock me.

This occurred in Muskegon, MI. Eggelston township. Zip code 49442. I should also mention that I am familiar with most things in the sky, night, or day, but this is the first time I could not relate to this "thing" in the sky.

Also, it seemed to have a dark center, but still red in color, but you could tell the outer edge of the spherical shape was most brilliant with red.

There was no train, tail, orange fire debris, nothing like that, and is not meteor shower related. Very sure of that. Feel free to contact me, if anyone else reported this, or anyone has questions, I would be glad to talk about it.

Two Large Orange/Red Light In The Sky Over Meijer In Clinton Township Michigan

Date:  Around the beginning of October 2012 ?
Time:  Evening.

My name is (name removed). My mother, husband and I seen two big orange red  lights in the sky when we were at the Meijer in Clinton Township Michigan about two weeks ago.

They where huge and then would shrink down and get big again. This went on about 10 minutes after we noticed them and ten they just disappeared.

They didn't move they just stayed in the same spot. I thought we were just crazy until I did a search and came across a page with a woman from the

Harbor apartment building (about several blocks from our house) says she seen them months prior also.

Very shocking to me. I wonder what they were.

Strange Lights In The Sky Over Commerce Township Michigan

My family and I just saw strange lights in the sky. It was green and red and moving erratically. Two other additional different lights were seen. Then it looked like possibly a shooting star occurred. I do not believe in UFOs, but this was something I can not explain.

It was 12:20 a.m., Commerce Township, Michigan. The north western sky. I was just reading about stars, I was reading we can not see the green. My daughter, wife and son all saw this too.

20 Red/Orange Balls Of Light In The Sky Over White Rock Lake Jefferson Township New Jersey

This evening in the White Rock Lake area of Jefferson Twp. NJ, my family and I watched nearly 20 red orange balls of light slowly ascend in an arc over the house.

They appeared to have a slight white glow around the perimeter.

The light faded the higher they went and clustered in groups of three or so.

The sky was quite clear and a dark indigo with a few stars, yet a few minutes after the sighting thick clouds darkened the sky with a keyhole of the bright sky in the middle.

Two Orange Fire Lights/Objects In The Sky Over Clinton Township Michigan

Hello, this is the first time I've ever witnessed such a thing. Last night myself and a friend were walking our toddlers for the night, which I live in the Harbours Apartments, in Clinton township, Michigan. 

To the east we saw two orange fire like lights, circular in shape, they moved, got bigger then smaller, then they seemed to have stopped. I don't really know how to explain what I saw.

After watching for a few minutes, they just disappeared.

UFO Splits Into Four Objects Seen From Liberty Township/West Chester Ohio

 

Date:  July 15, 2012

Time:  About 9:45 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.

 

We saw the same thing and Springboro, Ohio is not that far from us. In fact, it was in that direction that we saw lights. It was also about 9:45 p.m. or 10:00 p.m. at night.

 

We were out for a walk with the dog in the Liberty Township/West Chester, Ohio area. At first there was one light in the sky, then it seemed to split into two light. Then the second one split into two, so there were three. They seemed to be falling slowly like a drop of rain on a window, but slower.

 

Then they seemed to go behind a cloud or something because they disappeared. Then, to our surprise, a light went on as if someone turned on a light bulb, then another and another and another until there were 4 lights in the shape of half a U (the left side of the U).

 

Slowly the lights seemed to form a diamond shape (they were the vertices) and then a rectangle. Then they disappeared behind trees, went behind clouds, or just went out.

 

We ran home to get a camera but didn't see the lights anymore after this time. Glad someone else saw it, too.

Bright Lights Falling Out Of The Sky Over Liberty Township Ohio (Picture)

Time:  Approx: 9:45 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on my patio facing north when I noticed a very bright light in the sky. It was at least 20 times larger/brighter than they typical jet bound for DAY or CVG so it caught my attention.

I watched it continue, what I thought was north for about 10 seconds and then it disappeared. In a second or two three fireballs fell from the spot where it disappeared. One fell straight down and the two on my right appeared to fall eastward.

 

They then disappeared and in another second or two 4 lights appeared, two on the right at an equal height and two flying level on the left and below. They all seemed to descend in unison. I was on the phone describing this to a friend and she said get a picture.

 

It was pretty dark, but I got a blurry shot of the two on the right as the left 2 had fallen behind the tree line. Never seen anything like that before except when I was about 10, when I saw something from about 300 yards that flew away at literally the speed of light with no sound at all.

 

Parents said I was nuts, but there was a police report on the front page of our paper that confirmed what I saw. I'm 66. What I saw last night may be explainable, but until I hear the explanation, I'm calling it my 2nd sighting.

 

Really pretty cool watched it for about 20-30 seconds. I can text the photo to you if you like.

Orange Amber Colored Lights Seen Flying Over Moon Township Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

4 Red Colored Lights/Objects Flying Over Richland Township Kalamazoo County Michigan

Time:  Approx: 8:57 p.m.

 

Hi, I am looking for something similar to what we saw tonight and read your blog. We saw 4 of these red objects in the western sky from Kalamazoo (Richland, really). 

 

I spotted them, possibly around 8:57 p.m. in an approximately diamond pattern, with the one in forefront/bottom much larger and other 3 smaller. 

 

A couple minutes later, my husband and friend came into the parking lot and saw immediately. They looked that close. Both said, "UFO's!" My husband claims they all were still and then just disappeared, but I saw them before and differently. 

 

One on top, two forward/lower on each side and a very large one at bottom, appearing closer. They seemed to move around a bit and I agree with one person on your blog, they appeared to be rising into the sky, as if in same motion as hot air balloons. 

 

Then, the top 3 seemed to lift until receding into the sky, while the larger one in the forefront was stationary for at least 30 seconds or more and then receded, as well.

Cloud Like Object Took The Form Of A Triangle UFO Seen Over Malaga Township Monroe County Ohio

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

 

It was around 9:00 p.m. on April 3, 2012 in southern Ohio just outside the town of Malaga Township in Monroe county. I noticed a bright spot in the sky, at first I though it was the moon behind the clouds until my buddy pointed out the moon was behind us and their was no clouds in the sky.

 

The light got brighter, but not like a light, almost like a moon behind the cloud glow and then took the shape of a triangle, almost square shape.

 

We watched it for a good five minutes until it took more of strange form and faded out.

 

The object was very high in the sky and was about half the size of the moon. From ground point. Let me know if this sounds about the same.

 

Like I said, it was more of glowing cloud with a outline, but could not see any corner on the object. Let me know.

7 Yellow Colored Lights Seen Over Carlyle Township Ohio

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Very peculiar. Seven lights in the sky, just south of Russia Road. Yellow lights, kind of glowing red.

 

Hovering low in the sky. First one, then two, then four. There wasn't anything attached to them.

 

I didn't go back and take pictures, cause I didn't feel like getting sucked up into a space ship.

It seemed to speed up and then disappear completely. There were no obstructions to block our view. We laughed it off. Out of boredom I Googled "green ling in sky New Jersey" and found this site.

Bright Glowing Green Light Broke Into Two Over Liberty Township Ohio

I live in Liberty Township, Ohio. I saw someone else’s post about light over Liberty Township. I had a strange sighting this morning around 6:30 a.m. 

 

I was waiting to turn onto the highway this morning, and noticed a bright glowing green light in the sky. 

 

It was too large to be a star and it was moving fast. It was relatively low and was coming in at maybe a 30 degree angle. 

 

As I watched it, it split into two glowing orbs. They continued on the same path for a second and then it was like the light was turned off. 

 

It wasn't like they burned out, because they didn't fade into nothing. It was more like turning of the light switch. 

 

Just wondering if anyone else saw this.

Red Orange Ball Of Light Seen At Upper Frederick Township Pennsylvania

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While driving east on route 29/73 in Upper Frederick Township we observed a single reddish-orange ball of light above a tree line that was fairly close to the road. No other colors were visible from the object at any time of the display.

 

At first it did not appear to be moving and could have been mistaken for a radio tower light, except for the color and that there are no towers in this particular area. As we passed, we noticed several vehicles had pulled off of the highway with their lights on and assumed they were watching the light.

 

We travelled a few hundred feet and pulled into a driveway and the light appeared to have moved further from the road in a northerly direction which appeared to be toward the Red Hill/Green Lane area as the previous report cited. The light diminished in size and appeared to quickly blink out with surprising speed close to the general direction of two aircraft that were in the area at the time.

 

We turned our vehicle around to see if we could speak to the drivers who had pulled off of the road, but saw them slowly driving away within a few seconds of the object disappearing.

We were unable to determine size of the object as there were no points of reference. If it were a tower light, the light was large & bright enough that the tower would had to have been situated quite close to the roadway and nearby houses. T

 

he orange-ish color of the light did not match any of the numerous towers which are clearly a bright red, nor any of the other air traffic which was visible at the time, sporting red, green and white lights.
