Witnesses Observe Green Glow In The Sky Over Indianapolis Indiana

Date:  November 2011
Time:  Approx: 1:30 a.m.

I am a truck driver and in November of 2011 at around 1:30 a.m. on I-69 north of Indianapolis, Indiana.

At the now 215 mile marker, my wife and I saw the greenish glow in the the sky off toward the west and about 15 seconds later saw the same glow again to the north of us.

We ran this route for 11 months at the same time 5 nights a week and never saw it again, but we have seen things in the night sky that could not be explained.

Diamond And Circular Bright Fire Like Objects Seen In The Sky Over Camby Near Indianapolis Indiana

 

Date:  July 19, 2012 and July 20, 2012

Time:  Evenings.

 

It has been crazy and I don’t know where to start. We saw diamond and circular crafts that just stop, then go.

 

Then light up so bright like on fire, then disappear. There was 15 last night, and tonight we have seen 4 more. 

 

It is crazy like they are circling the area and very quiet with just a little hum, sounds crazy.

Bright White/Yellow Light Seen Flying Over Indianapolis Indiana

 

Date:  April 12, 2012

Time:  8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

 

Just wanted to say that I saw an object, bright single, white/yellowish, moving southwest to northeast over Indianapolis, around 2000-2100 hours on 12 April 2012 .

No blinking lights, steady, slow much like a satellite, but did not fade out nor just disappear.

Red Orange Colored Lights Spotted in The Sky From Indianapolis Indiana

 

Date:  April 7, 2012

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

 

My wife and I were driving south on S. Keystone Avenue near Epler Avenue on 4/7 at about 9:30 p.m. We saw 2 red-orange lights over the Southport area ascending straight up. Steady lights, not blinking proximity lights on an aircraft. 

 

Not red, either, but reddish orange. My wife thought it was the color of an ember. One faded and then vanished, and the second continued on before it, too, faded and vanished. 

Saw identical colored lights over the Lawrence area a couple weeks ago at about the same time. Was working late and our offices are located near 65th and Binford. I left the office at 9:30 p.m. to come home. 

 

Driving east on 65th Street approaching Binford, I saw a formation of 3 orange-red lights and a fourth nearby. The 3 seemed to form a shape of an equilateral triangle, but they seemed to be distinct things, not part of a single shape/object, because there was very slight variation in the relationship between them. 

 

The fourth moved faster and passed them up.

Sonic Boom Heard And Woke Many Residents At Wanamaker Indianapolis

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

 

Hello, I heard a loud boom last night (1/14/12). It was at approximately 1:00 a.m. I had neighbors running down the street, garage doors opening to search in vehicles, and people gathered at my neighborhood entrance to look.

 

Mind you this was at a very late hour, and it was very cold out. It takes more than a small sound to stir anyone, let alone the amount of activity I witnessed (I drove around looking for an accident scene as well).

 

I do not know what it was, but there are hundreds of witnesses to whatever it was over here too (Raymond and Franklin Road near Wanamaker).

 

I found it odd that there was no news coverage or explanation. We do not shoot out flares from our fighter jets during most exercises (not necessary, our pilots do not shoot real missiles at each other during exercises)

 

We call "no joy", or fox "trot 1" for example.

 

So the sonic boom can be explained to some extent, but I want to know more about the lights as well.

Bright Moon Sized Orange Object Over The South Side Of Indianapolis Indiana

Mr. Vike, In amazement of what I just witnessed, I quickly got on the Internet to help me figure out what I just saw. After I read your story and it appearing to match mine so close on being exactly a year apart, I thought I would send you this.

Here is my story. My boy and I just got home from shooting fireworks from my parents house. He ran in excited to see her, for she has been sick with the cold and decided to stay home. As my son told my wife about the fireworks, everyone is getting ready for bed, I took out the dog.

I noticed that my dog was acting a little funny for he didn't want to go for a walk. Perhaps it was the shock of the fireworks, I don't know. But at this time, most of the fireworks was over. 11:45pm July 4, 2011. At that moment, I had a funny feeling to look up to the sky in the northeast.

I saw a bright orange object slowly moving in a southerly direction. It was most definitely brighter than any aircraft. It made no sound. It wasn't moving fast at all. "What the hell is that?" I recall asking my dog. He saw it at first and refused to move.

The object was moving south out of my line of sight due to my neighbors tree. I quickly ran across the street and east a little ways until I got to my street corner at E. Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive and Linden Street. I faced south east and was seeing it perfectly.

It never blinked. It was like looking into a flash light from a distance, bright in the center with a ring around it. It seemed to wobble slowly and hover for a minute or two over what I believe from my best guess is beach grove. At this time, I called my father and told him what I was looking at. Looking at my cell phone's outgoing call, it was 11:46 and I stayed on the line until it blinked out 2.5 minutes.

So, what I seen is exactly in that video. It was from my point of view, as large as the moon, from the northeast of me while it was heading dead south. It wobbled goofy like around about the beach grove area and continued south until it was the size of a star then finished.

It was hazy out due to the fireworks and the time of night I think. No cloud in the sky. The sky was very clear. No wind. There was no sound, other than the occasional fire cracker.

It could be military for all I know. What I do know is I see planes overhead all the time, and it wasn't like anything I have ever seen before.

Besides seeing something in the sky tonight that I can not identify, my dog would not come with me across the street for a walk. That is the first time in the eight years that I have had him. He watched me for the whole 4-5 minutes while I was full of amazement and he never moved until I told him to get inside.

Two Balls Of Fire Over Indianapolis Indiana

On Saturday (~ 10:30pm), July 17th, my son and I witnessed two balls of fire in the sky over Central Indiana (Indianapolis). We looked in the local newspapers and watched the news thinking that we would see or hear an explanation but did not. I searched the internet and found your site. Bright Orange Light Over Indianapolis Indiana

Date: July 3, 2010 and June 25, 2010
Time: 9:45 p.m.

On June 25th at 10:02pm and on July 3rd at 9:45 pm. A bright orange light with a reddish corona came from the south and flew for about 2 minutes to get straight overhead then would disappear. Witnessed by about 30 people the second time and 2 people the first time.

Appeared to be about 5 to 7 thousand feet up . No noise. About 3 to 4 times as bright as aircraft lights. Also this was dusk and no typical aircraft silhouettes could be seen, just the light.

12 to 15 UFOs Observed Over Indianapolis Indiana

Date: June 25, 2010

Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I went out to walk the dog at about 11:00pm tonight and saw very strange lights moving southeast to northwest. I did not count, but I would guess 12 to 15 individual crafts. I have never seen anything like this and it, quite honestly, scared me. I am not one to report something like this as I went to college for meteorology and always find scientific reasons for most weird things, but I can't figure this one out.

No noise, did appear to have 3 lights on each craft in equal-triangle. I guess they were 3-4 thousand feet up and I would guess their speed was 200 mph or so. They moved at different speeds and seemed to move close together and then separate.

I watched them for about 5 minutes, they rose in altitude quickly and then at some higher altitude (I would guess about 10,000 feet) they slowly dimmed out. Thought at first they were helicopters with bright orange lights, but they darted too quick for that.

Would like to know If others watched and if so what their descriptions weren't.

Additional Information:

Indianapolis In - looked like came from northeast side of Indy towards far northwest of Indy.

Another weird thing, my puppy went crazy barking, and then immediately after they all disappeared, she abruptly stopped. Let me know if you find something else please.

North Of Indianapolis, Indiana Sky Lights Up Green

Location of Sighting: about 20 miles north of Indianapolis while traveling north on I-69
Number of witnesses: 2

Full Description of event/sighting: While driving northbound on I-69 with my girlfriend we noticed the western sky suddenly lit up a greenish color. We did not see any objects or hear any sounds, just the sudden brightness of the sky. We were roughly 20 miles north of Indianapolis to the best of my knowledge. I am not sure if there is anything in the proximity of the area to create such a brightening of the night sky. We really did not think about it until reading the report of the girl who saw something similar two nights earlier. Although she reported something blue or turquoise this was definitely greenish. It was very strange but not intimidating in anyway.

Indianapolis, Indiana A Loud Boom And Some Saw Blue Lights

Last night, while giving my son a bath at about 8:15pm I heard a huge boom which lasted about 5 seconds, it was bigger than life! I thought there was probably some kind of gas explosion and waited until after I put the kid to sleep to watch the news and search the internet. I was surprised how loud it was since I was in an interior room with no windows and it is very insulated from sound. I found nothing on the news/web and figured that it was too soon for someone to make a report. Meanwhile, my wife was at my sister-in-laws on the other side of Indianapolis at a Christmas party and heard the same thing, except she said they were outside and saw blue lights to the south. I was surprised they heard the boom, because their house is a good 35 minute drive from ours due southeast. Today I searched and saw a similar story in that happened in Kokomo in April of this year. Just thought I would send the info since there is no mention of anything around here. Let me know if you know anything about this, it is going to drive me crazy. I can be reached via this e-mail. Indianapolis, Indiana Two Round Amber Colored Spheres

Location of Sighting: Overhead moving in a NW direction.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Round, spheres.

Full Description of event/sighting: Coming home from walking my dog at approximately 10:15 pm last Saturday night, I witnessed two (2) round, amber-colored objects flying overhead in a northwestern direction at approximately 1,000 feet. The objects were moving about 200 miles per hour. I was able to watch them as they slowly moved across the sky making not a single sound. This was probably the biggest surprise to me was the stealth in which they moved. Clearly amber in color and clearly round objects, one following the other approximately 2 miles behind but following the same flight path. Silent, it blew me away. It was a clear night, no clouds and a bright moon. I find it strange that these flew over at the same time as a sighting viewed earlier in the year in Indianapolis. Any information you can send me would be helpful. It didn't hit our local news at all. Nothing in the paper.
