8 Orange Lights Observed Over Stone Mountain East Atlanta Georgia

Date:  December 31, 2012 and January 1, 2013
Time:  Between midnight and 12:30 a.m.

We saw something similar over the Atlanta area. They seemed to originate near Stone Mountain (east of Atlanta) and generally moved in a northern direction. 

We saw a total of about 8 at different times between midnight and 12:30 a.m.  

We were watching fireworks also and wondered if this was some new kind.

Amber Colored Lights Seen Flying Above Atlanta Georgia

Time:  11:57 p.m

(Cabbage Town Area, East of Downtown Atlanta near Memorial Cemetery)

So I didn't say anything about this on New Years because my girlfriend and I weren't really sure what we had seen. After looking into it a little more, and sifting through some BS, I'm sure of what we both saw minutes before Midnight December 31st 2012.

I went outside to smoke a cigarette about 3 minutes before Midnight. The sky was a bit cloudy to the northwest over Atlanta. I've been seeing a lot of Military Craft over the city for about a year, so when I go outside I tend to look up.

About a minute before midnight, whilst looking over the city, I saw an amber light emerge from the clouds over the city. I thought maybe it was fire works being shot from the building tops, but I heard no sound of a mortar and the amber light didn't explode.

I watched it as it continued to move from the clouds and make a graceful, but quick, turn northward. This all took place within a 10-15 second time frame. As the Light straightened its course, I saw a 2nd amber light emerge from the clouds on the same flight path.

As this happened my girlfriend came outside to get me for the ball drop. I told her to look up and she saw the two amber lights. She asked me "Is that a plane?" and as she said that we both saw a plane approaching and the lights we clearly different.

Plus we could clearly hear the planes engines even from a distance, but had not heard a sound from the amber lights. As we continued to watch a third and then fourth amber light emerged, again, following the same flight path. We went inside to watch the ball drop. Seconds after midnight I went back outside to see if they were still visible. I could only see the faint light of one way north of the city.

This is the first time I've ever seen something like this as close as we did. Based on time frames given in some other testimonials, it looks like we all might have seen the same UFOs. This is exciting for me!

I've been a long time believer and have always wanted that extra piece of solidification to secure my beliefs. Thanks.

4 Glowing Amber Lights Seen Flying Over Atlanta Georgia

My girlfriend and I saw the same 4 lights over Atlanta minutes before Midnight December 31st, 2012.

They were glowing Amber and moved in a single file line through the sky. What time did the witness see them in FL?

Triangular Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky Over East Atlanta Georgia

 

Date:  1984

Time:  Approx: 5:30 a.m.

 

When I was 13, living in east Atlanta, Ga., our car was broken so I had to ride my bicycle to a friends house early one morning to tell them my step dad needed a ride to work. It was around 5:30 a.m.

 

I heard a noise and looked upward to where I heard the noise and I saw a slow moving triangular shaped air craft (UFO) with multi colored lights, red, blue, yellow and green.

 

It did not make a noise like a jet, it was moving very slow, 20-30 mph would be my guess. I stopped and stood to watch this as it flew right over me. Literally! I could have thrown a rock and hit it!

 

I watched it until it was out of sight. I asked everyone I knew if they saw it, no one did. I was laughed at so I didn't mention again until now. This was in 1984.

 

I am 40 now. It may sound crazy, but it’s what I saw. Thanks.

Green Light Falls From The Sky Over Atlanta Georgia

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

 

I'm a resident of Atlanta. Last Sunday I was standing with a co-worker at the intersection of McDaniel Street and Fulton Street at approximately 2:00 a.m., my co worker and I looked up and saw a green light that appeared to be falling at a very sharp angle.

 

The speed of it was enough to freak me out as it covered what appeared to be about 300 yards in about 2 seconds. Is this becoming frequent in the Atlanta area?

Missing Time In Atlanta Georgia

 

Date:  Summer 10 to the 15th 2001

Time:  Daytime.

I was just actually looking for somewhere to post my story.

I have never spoken of this, except to my family. I have been trying to explain it for years.

It was 2001, I was driving to KY from Georgia to go pick up my kids for their Summer vacation. At that time it was the 10-15th time. I have driven through Atlanta, GA to pickup or drop off my kids.

 

What I can't explain is, that year I remember coming into south Atlanta on I-75, about 10 miles from downtown. The next thing I remember is is being about 10-15 miles north of Atlanta, GA.

 

Now, I remember being very tired at the time, so I'm not sure exactly what happened. What's strange is, this happened during the daytime, in heavy traffic. I cannot account for about 50 minutes of my life.

 

I know this may sound weird, but it happened. I am an expert at traveling and driving, so what happened? Did something take over, intervention, memory lapse? How can I drive through Atlanta traffic asleep and be writing this today?

Bright Ball Of Light Falls From The Sky Over Atlanta Georgia

Hi, I saw your post in my search to see if there was anyone else out there saw the light on 1/14/12 around 12:45. My friend and I were driving down 285-W, when we saw a bright ball of light fall from the sky.

 

We both made wishes in case it was a falling star and at the same time was a little weird-ed out by what we saw.

 

Its good to know that someone else saw it too. I'm interested to see if there are others.

I'm in Atlanta, Georgia and it was on January 14, 2012, highway 285-West a mile from getting on Spaghetti Junction, around 12:45 a.m.

Bright Green Object Falls From The Sky Over Atlanta Georgia

In Atlanta, Georgia last night around 12:45 a.m. there was a bright green light that came straight from above. We were scared and confused as we thought it was the end.

 

Very scary and we still have no answers as far as what it was. It was very bright and green in color.

4 Blue/Lavender Lights Just Five Feet Off The Ground At Atlanta Georgia

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

 

Hi, I Googled blue lights and found your website. This past Thursday our power went out at 5:30 pm and was off for 10 hours due to a severe thunder and lightning storm. At around 10:00pm or so, I told my husband I was going out to the car to sit in the a/c as I was overheated. (I had heat exhaustion several years ago and no longer perspire so I am severely affected by heat now.)

 

I was sitting in the driver's side for approximately 10 minutes and saw a car slowly go by. The weather was still pretty bad and I watched him to see if he was going to stop. The car continued out of sight and I watched the brake lights fade.

 

I still watched where he disappeared in case he came back. About a minute later, I saw 4 blue lights about maybe about 3-4 feet apart that were maybe 5 feet off the ground. Our home is about 100 yards off the main road, but I could see these lights very clearly.

 

I could see that there was nothing under them, no vehicle. I realized it was not of this world and sheer terror literally engulfed me. I watched as one light broke away and came down our driveway. I opened my door and made inside the house and initially couldn't speak to my husband.

 

I managed to say that there were lights and were blue and one was coming, but it wasn't a car and I was scared and please don't let them get me. He turned off the flashlight and looked out the window. There were a few fireflies flying around and he said I must have seen fireflies.

 

I convinced myself it was fireflies, please God, let it be fireflies. I went on Mufon.com today and saw that someone else had a similar experience with the 'lavender lights' 2 days after my experience. I called them lavender so that maybe anyone else who had seen them would connect my report with the other.

 

Also, I believe I was abducted when I was a little girl about 4-6 times. I never told anyone, but finally posted my experiences on mufoncentral, but the website is down now. Will you please let me know if you know what these lights are?

 

Being that one came down our driveway instead of across the pasture in front of us, there is an intelligence, right?

5 Or 6 Floating Orange Lights Over Atlanta Georgia (Chinese Lanterns)

Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Brian, I live in Atlanta and saw something similar to what you described. Tonight, a group of us were tailgating in a parking lot outside the Georgia Dome prior to the Atlanta Falcons playoffs game. Around 7:00pm, about a dozen of us saw 5 or 6 floating orange lights that looked like they were hanging from some sort of parachute.

I have to assume that hundred of others saw the same thing, given that there were many people tailgating all around us. Because it had just turned dark, it was hard to see them very clearly. They were maybe 300 feet over the ground, traveling at perhaps 30mph. They gradually made their way out of sight after several minutes. Very strange.

Any explanation?

Buckhead Atlanta, Georgia Object Shoots Upward At High Rate Of Speed

Full Description of event/sighting: May 5th 4:00 a.m. Atlanta,Ga. I frequently star gaze on my back terrace which is on the top floor (20th) story of a condo building in north Atlanta (Buckhead) Ga. I began looking at stars and planets around 2 years ago. Anyhow, after gazing for a couple of hours, I noticed to my right, due west, a very bright round object about 10-15 degrees above the horizon. The position this object was at in the sky absolutely eliminates any chance that it was a star, planet, or any other heavenly object. A friend of mine was behind me looking through one of my telescopes at planets and stars as well.

When I noticed this object, I remember saying to myself, "What is that, it can't be a star or planet because of where it's positioned. The round object was stationary and seemed to be swirling in different colors; very bright. I picked up my binoculars to my right and looked at the object closer. As I looked at it again, it began to move slowly to my left about 5 degrees and then very quickly shot upward around 5 degrees and stopped. The movement it made upward did not seem possible for any craft that I'm aware of and the G-force must have been unreal. Upon shooting upward, it then shot quickly to my right and stopped. At this point I called for my buddy who was behind me to hurry and look at this.

The object slowly started moving to my left again as my friend turned around. At the moment my friend made eye contact with the object, it seemed to shoot upwardly and vanished; almost vanishing in place but I recall a slight upwardness to it's vanishing trick. I asked my friend if he saw that and he said, " what was that? I saw a bright round object completely vanish before my eyes". In my 2 years of star gazing, I've never seen a "UFO" or anything close. I remembered afterwards that the direction I was looking in during this sighting was smack right over Dobbins Airforce Base in Marietta, GA. About 15 miles away from me. I can see a couple of their runways and watch planes land with the naked eye but better with binoculars. It seemed this object had to have been within their airspace.

After my experience, I went online to search any other sightings with my description and their seem to be a lot. The one that stands out the most is a documented report of two airforce pilots and their superior in Iraq. The pilots ended up chasing these object to no avail. The date of this incident took place the day after I was born, September 18th 1976. Anyhow, I thought that was interesting. Let me know if you need anymore info.
