Silent Fast Moving Golden Object Seen Over Carleton Michigan

Hi, I saw this object last night, August 16, 2014 at 11:30 p.m, and it moved very quickly, no sound.

I live about 10 miles from an airport. I know what a plane or helicopter etc.. are like, never silent. It was the first I ever saw this shape and color as I have seen UFOs a couple of other times, one closer and much bigger.

This is my third sighting and I am going on seventy. I have never told anyone, but a few close friends as everyone thinks your nuts. If you would like to speak to me my number is (phone number removed), I am not very good at answering e-mails. Thanks.

Two White Lights And Later A Round Pinkish Orange Golden Object Over Massillon Ohio

 Date:  First week of June 2014
Time:  Near dusk.

The first week of June 2014, I went to visit my mother at a nursing home in Massillon Ohio. I take her outside periodically to relax on a patio area to chat. While we were sitting there (still daylight early evening) I noticed at a fair distance 2 small round white lights in the sky to our left at the tree line.

I pointed it out to mom and we watched casually. They were sitting still and not moving at first. Several minutes went by and they slowly started moving to the right remaining within my left side line of vision.

They were small and I shrugged it off (they were too small to know what it could be), as they disappeared behind the tree line. When I left the nursing home later that evening it was dark outside. I walked out to my car and as I backed my car out, (only car left in front lot. Staff park behind the building), I was surprised to look up and see a large very close round pinkish orange golden rich light that looked as if it were very close.

I put the car in park and stepped out of car and stared curiously at this and felt amazed, but oddly not afraid. It looked like a ball of pure rich energy. Hard to describe.

The light did not have rays stretching out from the circular object like a regular light would. Much larger than the small distinguishable white lights I had seen earlier in the evening. It was coming slowly and low in the sky from right to left.

It was dripping what appeared to be sparks/flames from the bottom which I found odder yet. It stopped right in front of me for about 2 minutes or so. No sound whatsoever. If I had to gage the distance it couldn't have been a quarter or a half a mile away from me and very low in the sky.

Haven't seen anything so indescribable in my life. I was in awe. Have wanted to see it at again. I just knew it was a once in a lifetime event. Don't know if anyone else saw it or not.

Group Of Golden Lights In The Sky Over Northville/Plymouth Michigan

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Around 10:30 p.m. tonight my brother and his wife and I were going for a walk and looked up at the sky and seen a group of golden lights with a red center that were hovering in a bunch just over the Northville/Plymouth, MI area and were seen from Redford/Livonia border. 

They hovered in a group then stacked above each other to form a vertical line in the sky as each one went up and up vertically until each disappeared under the next.

They seemed bright golden in color, and had a red light in the center, when straight up from a group formation, then one by one drifted straight up and disappeared into the night sky. Wow!

Golden Orange Objects Seen Over Hillside Community Church Wrightwood California

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Round and oblong.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Three golden-orange objects appeared in the night sky over the ridge behind Hillside Church. They were floating, stopping in mid-air, then moving to a spot below Highway 2.

They began to form a formation in a single row, top middle and bottom, hovering in the night sky completely suspended, as if viewing the high desert. Then, one of the objects floated over to the ridge above Highway 138 and disappeared.

Then another oblong shaped aircraft with flashing multi colored lights flew behind the three golden, orange colored objects then another one floated behind the ridge over Pinion Hills.

Amazing experience for our neighborhood. is JPL at Table Mountain, WW doing experimental stuff?

Golden/Yellow Light Streaked Across The Sky Over Surprise Arizona

Hi Brian, I live in Surprise. About 10 minutes ago I saw a fascinating light in the sky. Unlike anything I've seen before. Googled and found you. Let me know if you get this and want to know more. Amazing!

Hi Brian, sitting outside enjoying the cool evening air and gazing at the stars. Suddenly, there was a streak across the sky in an area in the sky without stars, so it really showed up brightly.

Like a meteorite in the speed at which it moved, but golden/yellow in color. But, what got me was that it appeared to be moving sideways and slightly upward into the sky rather than falling.

It got broader and brighter as it went higher, then it disappeared. Wow. I've never seen anything like that in my life. I had the sense that something, a UFO, was somehow made visible for a few moments.

Over 30 Golden Lights Over Blanchette Park St. Charles Missouri

I saw over 30 golden lights in the sky last night around 7:30 p.m. I was near Blanchette Park. They were all about the same height an all had a single gold light and were moving toward the airport.

We thought they were helicopters at first, but they made no sound. There were a few groups of 4 to 6, then a few smaller groups followed by single lights.

This went on for ten minutes and several people came out of their houses, which is why I was sure there would be something on the news or internet about it.

I  finally Googled "lights over St Charles and found your sight. They may have been home made hot air balloons with candles. Maybe a prank or a remembrance. It was very odd. Did you hear about this?

Single Golden Object Over Pisgah Forest North Carolina USA

Date: April 2011

Time: Approx: 2:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Just checking on something I saw recently mid-early morning (about 2-3am) 2 weeks go in April that resembles other accounts. I woke up for who knows what reason, and was looking out my east facing bedroom windows (no curtains or obstructions) and suddenly noticed a single “golden orb” moving south to north, steadily…no flashing lights, no unusual patterns, just straight on course.

It appeared in my line of vision, probably only about 30 seconds total before it just “disappeared” still on it’s course.

Nothing further. I have ‘seen’ unusual things in New Mexico, but not in this particular location.

Not UFOs – Elsinore Skydive Center In Conjunction With The Army Golden Knights

A Vike Factor Note: On January 6, 2011 reports started flying into Brian Vike over sightings of a bright light which broke into three bits. Many witnesses reported seeing the objects hover in the night sky.

There were also two different times that folks saw this unusual event take place. I also reported that on January 6, 2011 I found out that the lights which folks seen were sky divers, but I only had this happening for one time. Today January 10, 2011 I had a nice lady who informed me that there were two jumps on January 6, 2011.

The two time periods does cover when all the witnesses reported seeing the lights. Folks from Murrieta, Menifee, Wilodmar, Canyon Lake, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, California reported seeing these lights.

My many thanks for all the witnesses for getting their sighting reports in as it is most appreciated. Just glad we could find an answer for what everyone saw on January 6, 2011

So for sure, the lights seen on January 6, 2011 was caused by the Elsinore skydive center in conjunction with the Army Golden Knights. No UFOs at all with this case.

On Thurs Jan 6, 2011 the Elsinore skydive center in conjunction with the Army Golden Knights will be doing a video recording of some night jumps using aerial flares.


The flares will be 30 second high illumination devices attached to the jumpers; these will not be free fall parachute combat flares. There will be 2 dives between 8-10 pm with 4-6 flares on each dive.

Golden Orange Lights Over Redding Connecticut (Chinese Lanterns)

Hi Vike, after alerting friends and family of the orange UFOs over Redding CT at 10:15 pm New Year's Eve, one sent the posting from January 1 on your website describing the site (http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2011/01/10-golden-orange-lights-over-redding.html) .

My wife and I saw the same objects, and were initially stunned, it was quite a dramatic sight. After Googling that evening various terms, however, upon entering "orange UFOs" I came across links to a company that sells "Chinese sky lanterns" and I think that's what we saw, the photos and videos available online appear very similar to what we saw crossing over our house.

The one caveat was that on the ground, there was little wind, and when I first saw the objects I had thought they were moving too fast to be any kind of a firework product. But we live below a ridge line, and it is probably the wind was blowing harder at the altitude the objects were flying at.

10 Golden Orange Lights Over Redding Connecticut

Time: Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Hi Brian, my friends and I were outside last night in Redding Connecticut at about 10:15pm We saw approximately 10 golden orange lights moving across the sky from the south/southwest to north/northeast. There was no noise at all. A pair lead, followed by several singles, then a few pair, then a final single, generally traveling in a straight line.

One of the latter pairs seemed to start out as two singles, then looked more like a pair as they reached mid sky. They moved steadily, entering our field of vision through the trees, then leaving our field of vision to the east through the trees. They did not appear to be at a very high altitude given their size, and their speed could have been that of a normal aircraft. Again, there was no sound! A typical plane seemed to be right behind it and than nothing. Please let us know if you hear anything else.

Two Golden Objects Hovering Over San Bernardino California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We saw two golden orange objects hovering over San Bernardino facing north west. They hovered together and seemed to get closer and then farther from each other. Then one of them dropped down a little in the sky and appeared to drop something from it, then a few seconds later dropped a little more in the sky and dropped something again from it before fading out.

It briefly lit up again then went out completely. The other object hovered this whole time in about the same spot as when we first saw it, then faded out shortly after the other object did. We would like to know if anyone else saw it e-mail me if so.

Bright Golden Orange Balls Of Light Over Glassport Pennsylvania (Picture)

Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m.

Brian, just found this site tonight as I was trying to find out if there were any UFO sightings around the Pittsburgh area on the evening of July 4, 2010.

I am from Glassport, which is about 10 miles south of Pittsburgh. We live on a hill overlooking our town, the river, and the hills on the other side of the river, and we have a really good view of the valley and houses below us except for one spot about 150 foot away and to our left where the view is partially blocked by a rather large sugar maple tree.

We were watching (8 adults and 2 children) fireworks along the hills across the river from other towns and communities at about 9:45 pm, when we noticed a bright burning or glowing object at eye level appear from behind the sugar maple tree moving from left to right. Somebody commented about the "firework" and then somebody else commented it wasn't a firework, but it was a "shooting star".

We then realized it was moving too slowly and was actually very close to us and below the hills of where we were watching the fireworks. That's when I commented, it looks like some kind of UFO and 2 people scrambled to get their cameras. The object was only about 2-3 streets down below us which I estimate was only 300 or 400 foot away. And it was eye level for us, meaning it couldn't have been more than 100 to 150 foot above ground.

There was no sound from this object and it appeared to have a reddish glow on top of a bright, golden-orange ball of glowing light. This object was very close and did not appear to be very big. It continued moving left to right going slightly upward over trees and houses and up over the hill. It appeared as if it was moving under its own power even though we heard no sound at all. It had no erratic movements and basically went in a pretty straight line from when we first saw it, until when it disappeared over the hill and houses behind us to our right.

There was no wind that night to move that object in that manner. I was the last one to see it before it disappeared as I ran to the side of the house. It looked like it slightly turned, giving me a better glimpse of the light underneath the object. In my opinion, the one bright light was really 3 separate lights in a triangle type formation, which, when seen close up gave the appearance of one bright light. However, everybody else who seen it claims there was one bright light.

At approximately 11:00pm the same night, another bright lighted object much higher and further away, also traveled left to right but followed the river instead of coming up and over the hill. Ironically, a friend of my 22 year old son told him the next day that he and his father watched a bright object travel above the river heading toward Duquesne at about 11:00 the night before. That is the exact direction the light we saw was heading for. They live over the hill in the next town and have a clear view of the river about a mile or so away from us. He told us this story before my son told him what we had seen.

We did manage to get a few pictures, but the video did not show anything as the guy taking the video could not find it in the lens. The picture just shows a bright lighted object where the bright light is slightly blurred and appears to be showing the object moving left to right. In reality though, the light was bright underneath the object and never gave the impression it was pushing the object from left to right. You cannot make out any shape of the object. That pictured was snapped as it was moving away from us, before it went over the houses and hill behind us. Too bad we didn't see it coming earlier because we would have had a straight on picture of it at it's closest point to us. My guess is this thing was smaller than a car, but I'm not sure because of the darkness.

Large Golden Light Over Mescalero Apache Reservation New Mexico‏

Time: Approx: 6:20 p.m.

Mr. Vike, last night (1/18/10) at about 6:20 p.m., MST, my sister and I were driving NE on US Hwy 70 (on the Mescalero Apache reservation) when we both saw a large, golden light traveling in an eastward direction.

This light was most remarkable as it did not appear to be a meteor or anything else that was burning up in the atmosphere. It was moving at a speed of about 200 mph, totally silent, and could not have been any type of aircraft that we know of. It disappeared over the SE horizon. Duration of sighting: Nine seconds.

Then, 20 minutes later, at approximately 6:40 p.m, MST, my sister and I noticed two lights, near perfect spheres, one red and one white, fly almost overhead relative to our position on the road. These objects were traveling in a northwesterly direction at a speed of perhaps 150 mph; we rolled our windows down then and these objects were also totally silent. They disappeared over the NW horizon. Duration of sighting: Seven seconds. Respectful.

Bright Stationary Golden Orange UFO Over West San Jose California

Time: 11:30 p.m.

Did anyone report seeing a very bright stationary golden orange light in West San Jose CA tonight?

This thing was dimensional, it had depth to it and appeared to be backlit, but there was definitely no light source shining up at it from behind.

It caught my eye as my husband and I were driving home after exiting Hwy 280 at Bird Avenue and heading toward Willow Glen. I assumed it was a plane in a holding pattern at first, but quickly realized that it couldn't be because it appeared to be square shaped. So we made a u-turn and stopped the car to stare at it, and when we were closer to it, it seemed to have a more of a pointed star-like outline to it (although not in a perfectly symmetrical way).

Eventually it began blinking out and then rapidly moving upward on a diagonal.

It was very unique looking and distinctly bright and golden-orange in color.

If it had stayed low I would have written it off as some strange promotional light projection by a tech company in the valley, but the fact that it blinked and began moving so far away so rapidly eliminated that possibility.

I called 211 (our non-emergency community hotline) the lines were so backed up it went to voicemail, and I didn't leave a message. I was more interested in knowing if anyone else had reported the strange light in sky tonight.

As soon as I arrived home I googled "San Jose UFO sighting" but didn't see any postings from tonight. Then I found a posting on your sight from someone in San Jose a few days back.

So I am curious if anyone reported this sighting to you. It occurred at approximately 11:30pm on Wednesday 1/6/10 in West San Jose.

Morganton, Georgia A Golden Yellow Triangular UFO

Hi Brian, This report is of a sighting on December 20, 2005. At 2:20a.m. I woke up. As I usually do, I looked out of the window adjacent to my bed. In the eastern sky at about 60 degrees above the horizon was a golden yellow triangle. It was at jet altitude, cruising nearly along side of the jet airway, but a bit east of it. I believe it was about the size, overall of a 727. It was an equilateral triangle, with rounded points. It was lit from within,with a beautiful golden-yellow lighting. In its center, was a soft and diffuse, circular, glowing red, "lighted"area about one sixth of the size along the length of one of the triangle sides. Also, there were a few gray bars of color on its underside. They were random in their positions and were longer than the red light's diameter.

This triangle was traveling at somewhat less than jet speed and my estimate of altitude was above twenty thousand feet, but probably below thirty thousand. Visibility was excellent so I had a clear view of it. Now here is where things get a bit bizarre. Along the trailing edge of the triangle and at about one-fifth of the length of the trailing edge of the triangle, from the left side was a pipe-like tube extending behind the craft for an estimated twenty feet. At that point the pipe/tube became a cork-screw of three twists to the right. It resembled a pig tail! Not very aerodynamic I'd say! I can't imagine what it could have been used for, but who can understand some of the configurations we see on some of these craft eh? I watched it cruise smoothly on a straight course until out of sight and I won't forget this one. It took quite awhile to get back to sleep. Sincerely.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was out walking my dog late at night, looking at the stars on a clear night when this thing came out of nowhere. It came out of the black sky, tilted so I can see it was a triangular shape and then went back into the darkness. Swooped down and back up. No sound. Lasted about 4 seconds. It was golden in color. And no, I don't take meds or drugs. This happened on the same night The Endeavor landed, so I thought it was that. That landed hours before I saw this thing. I've never seen anything move that fast.

Columbia River In Portland, Oregon A Glowing Amber Gold/Orange UFO

Date: September 10, 2007 Time: Approx: 3:00 a.m.

Brian, I live on a floating home on the Columbia River in Portland OR, USA. Early in the morning of Monday, Sept. 10, close to 3:00 a.m. I saw an object, glowing a amber gold or perhaps light orange shimmering light traverse the sky from the SE to the NW in less than three seconds. Ovid, shimmering, hard to focus on because as I later surmised, it appeared to be cloaked in an energy field. About the apparent size of the fingernail on my little finger held at arms length, it was extremely fast and was perfectly silent. Glowing - not brightly, perhaps just three or so shades lighter than the night sky, it was not a plane. It was not a satellite, it was very high, perhaps outside of the earth's atmosphere.

It was deeply unsettling.

I'm writing you because of the article about the orangish object seen on the previous Sunday evening in Sidney. I know a little about vectors and trajectories and this object I saw could have well been over BC when it did its little "blip blip" shimmy, changed trajectory and simply utterly disappeared. Poof.

Description: On Sept. 22, 2007 at approx: 7:15pm we noticed a very bright light low in the southern sky while walking to our car after diner in San Pablo, Colorado. This bright object appeared to be due south at about 12 - 15 degrees above the horizon. The bright object was bigger and brighter than any planet I've ever scene. It was 3 to 4 times bigger than Venus and incredibly bright. I convinced myself it was a plane coming directly toward us, just high enough to be reflecting the bright light of sunset.

As this pure white, bright circle of light grew slightly in circumference and brightness, I thought this must be one huge plane and it's getting really close. I almost wanted to duck down but there never were any plane sounds. Without binoculars, all I had to help aid in viewing was prescription sunglasses. I got in the car to get my glasses and when I stood up again the bright object seemed to be back where I first saw it. I'm guessing that would have been south of Taos, NM.

O.K. that was odd, but the real shocker came when I put on my prescription sunglass. The brightness was dimmed and I could see 3 distinct yellowish/gold lights - the one middle front light being slightly bigger than the 2 side lights. There seemed to be some energy or filament connecting or flowing between the center light and the side lights. I thought, That isn't right, and pulled the sunglasses off my face and there I saw the pure white, bright light again. What? How can this be? I kept taking my sunglasses off and putting them back on again trying to reconcile the two different things I was seeing - a round pure white and very bright light without my sunglasses and with them on seeing 3 separate yellow/gold lights with something blurry between them.

In the moment, I convinced myself this was Jupiter and a couple of moons and accounted for the blurriness by remembering I was looking through sunglasses not binoculars, and of course the reflecting light of sunset must be causing the brightness. We stood in amazement and watched the big waxing gibbous moon move along the path of the ecliptic in the southeast while our bright object appeared motionless in the south until our view was obstructed by clouds at approx. 7:45pm.

Since Sat. Sept. 22nd I've researched star charts and found that this bright light could not possibly have been Jupiter, as that planet was in the SSW, on the ecliptic at 26 degrees during the time our object was sighted due south at approx. 12 degrees.

Escondido, California Two Gold Colored Spheres Ascending

Location of Sighting: Escondido, California. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Sphere.

Full Description of event/sighting: My fiancée and myself were eating dinner in the parking lot of Ralph's grocery store when we observed two gold colored spheres ascending from a low altitude approx 300-400ft. One of them was slightly larger and alot brighter than the other. Both were ascending slowly, the smaller sphere was approx 50 feet higher and slightly to the right of the larger sphere. 15 seconds into the sighting, the smaller sphere faded out and was gone. As soon as the larger sphere reached the same point where the small sphere had been, it too faded out.

After about 25 minutes, I was taking my fiancée home going eastbound on El Norte Pkwy when we saw a very large and very bright white light that seemed to be moving slowly over the mountains east of Escondido. That didn't seem odd at first because the object was in the flight path that civilian aircraft use to land at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. I was about to write it off as a landing light when I realized that it had gotten bigger and was stationary in the sky over the mountains. Then it faded out just like the two gold colored spheres did. The evening was a little cold, the sky was clear and there were no other aircraft in the immediate area. Visalia, Central California A Bright Yellow/Golden Light Drops Fiery Object

Date: January 4, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Message: My name is (removed), and I live in Visalia which is a city in Central California in the heart of the San Jaquin Valley. Anyway, Last night, January 4, 2006, at around 11:00 pm I witnessed something very strange. I was sitting in my truck under the car port talking on my cell phone when something caught my attention in the northern sky. I believe I thought I'd seen a falling star but it turned out to be a bright yellow/golden light. As I watched the light I noticed it was coming toward me moving south. At that time I shook it off as a small engine plane.

Still, while having a conversation on my cell phone, I just kept an eye on the object as it seemed to be at about the height a small plane would fly. As the object came closer the light seemed too bright to be a plane light and it resembled a star. Thus, I hopped out of my truck to see if I could hear an engine sound and to get a better look. Anyway, the object flew across the sky as if it were a small plane with a star like glow but I could not hear any engine. As I was explaining this weird object to the person on the phone something happened that gave me goose bumps. The object dropped what looked like a fiery bomb straight down while the main light kept along the same path. A second later a smaller piece of this object broke off and then the main light looked as though it burned out.

I don't know what to make of this sighting. I watched this thing fly through the sky as if it were an airplane. It never slowed or sped up nor did it hover or change directions. It stayed on an even plane as an airplane would. I watched the news this morning thinking maybe a plane had caught fire but no report. Maybe you can make some sense of this.
