Two Large Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Aliso Viejo California

Hello Brian, I live in Aliso Viejo, California, and my son and I both saw the orange lights over the weekend, too.  We were outside at about 1:00 a.m. in the morning Sunday morning (August 12, 2012), trying to see the meteor shower. 

All of a sudden we saw two large orange lights. They appeared to be moving and at first we thought they were airplanes. It quickly became apparent that they weren't (no flashing lights that airplanes usually have). 

They were approaching our direction, then they appeared to stop. Then they started moving again. Then they stopped. Then all of a sudden they disappeared. Very strange!

Glowing Orange Lights Seen Flying Over Aliso Viejo California

Hello Brian, I just thought I would let you know that I saw the same thing as the below post describes last night. I was in Aliso Viejo, Ca, looking south.

It was about 11:00 p.m. and I thought it odd, so came home and Googled it to see if anyone else had and did not find anything, so tried again tonight and came across your sight! Thank you!

I just saw the 3 light in Laguna Niguel. I have never seen anything like that in the sky before.

They were glowing orange and they moved down then back up again and then disappeared.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around 10:30 p.m., July 4, 2011 my wife and I saw 3 light above Aliso Viejo, CA. at Wood Canyon and Aliso Creek.

 

Three bright red orange lights, appearing, then disappearing, merging into two, then one, then splitting again, then one again. It flashed a few colors and disappeared.

 

I keep hearing about these Chinese lanterns. Maybe it was that, but they seemed to move in different directions intentionally. More of a controlled, intelligent fashion.

3 Glowing Red Orange Objects Over Aliso Viejo California

Time:  Approx: 10:45 p.m.

 

Just saw 3 glowing red-orange spheres over Aliso Viejo, CA about 10:45 on July 4th 2011. At first thought it may be fireworks, but it was hanging in the air for a few minutes. We pulled the car over to watch and the three moved then became 2. They pulsed flashing and changing colors a bit.

 

The two then became one and disappeared. Just wondered if anyone else saw this?

Three Red Orange Lights Appearing And Disappearing Over Aliso Viejo California

Around 10:30 PM, July 4, 2011 my wife and I saw 3 light above Aliso Viejo, CA. Classic sighting. Three red orange lights, appearing, then disappearing, merging into two, then one, then splitting again, then that one flashed a few colors and disappeared.

 

I keep hearing about these Chinese lanterns. Maybe it was that, but they seemed to move in different directions intentionally. More of a controlled fashion. It was much like the video attached.

I'm curious if anyone else reported a sighting here.

Dark Colored UFO Over Aliso Viejo California

Time: 5:45pm

A dark object was spotted fairly high in the sky before sunset. It remained stationary for about 10 minutes while we were watching it. Then finally it moved slightly in one direction and after that it took off across the entire sky at a very rapid speed.

We could follow it with our eye until it disappeared, but it was surreal to witness. This is because of the tremendous distance that it covered in about one second. Nothing like following a jet.

Objects In The Night Sky Over Aliso Viejo California

Time: 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 3 to 5.
Shape of Objects: Round/spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mom has been talking lately about seeing some strange objects that would hover or move in odd directions that a plane couldn't move in. I came home tonight and heard her and my step dad in the bathroom. I went in to see what was up, and they said the UFOs were back. We could see them out of her bathroom window which faces towards Laguna Beach and also towards the 73 Toll Road.

You could barely see them, they just looked like some sort of plane or something, but more round. They had flashing lights of red, green, and maybe blue. They hovered in the same spot for quite some time. Sometimes getting brighter, then fading, then brightening up again.

There were between 3 and 5 of them, pretty spread out. Quite a few miles between each other. I saw one of them move, and it went in a straight upward direction. Has anyone else seen something like this in this area? It's so weird.

We watched them for almost an hour and it seemed like they just disappeared around 1:00 a.m.

Aliso Veijo, Town Center California Circular Flat UFO

Shape of objects: Circular, flat
Weather Conditions: Clear

Description: Circular to flat object flying very fast in up down, side to side. Seemed to be hovering in one spot and then take off, but not far. I wrote this because I stumbled on this page researching for my essay paper regarding class of America...when I read that their was a similar citing in the same exact spot I had to report I saw the exact thing. I am not a UFO believer....until now that is.
