Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a tri colored UFO last night around 9:00 p.m. over downtown and it was directly in my eyesight as I was leaving to go get pizza.

 

It twirled around in circles blinking as if it was getting my attention. It displayed colors of red, blue and green then dissipated behind the tree line.

 

Crazy thing is my friend saw it too. I was so fascinated and it really was one the most beautiful things I have ever seen in the sky.

Triangular UFO Over Lafayette Louisiana

Full Description of Event/Sighting: In December of 2006 I had a UFO sighting. I'm normally a very skeptical person and while interested in the subject I tend to dismiss UFO's, extraterrestrials, and so on, so this still confounds me. It's like something I can't just dismiss because I know I saw it, and so did several other people.

At the time I was visiting my mother in Lafayette. The only people in the house were my mother, one of my friends, and myself. My friend was leaving when, after walking outside, she suddenly came back in and told me to come outside quickly and watch something.

When we returned outside, I saw a bright red light traveling quickly across the sky. Our neighbor and his daughter were outside nearby, watching it with us. Everyone else was convinced it was some sort of UFO, but I didn't think there was any reason to suspect it was anything other than a plane.

Suddenly, I remember it stopped in midair. Just stopped on a dime. That was when I realized it couldn't be a plane. Then it came down, what was probably a couple hundred feet (still thousands of feet in the air) and just stood there. Our neighbor's daughter noticed that there was suddenly another light, this one bright yellow and smaller than the red light, that seemed to appear from nowhere. It zoomed across the sky and joined the red light, and both just flew away.

Everyone was convinced it was a UFO except for me. I'm still not sure what it is.

Lafayette, Indiana Two Orange Round UFOs

Location of Sighting: Lafayette, IN.

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two orange round objects in the sky East of I-65 along State Rd 26 East. The two objects flashed back and forth almost like they were communicating. Both would light up solid and then one at a time they would flash. At the end of the sighting the two lights took off in a horizontal direction like tracer fire (8-10 tracers)and then disappeared. There was no sound and no vertical movement. The objects hovered over a distant tree line before disappearing.

Lafayette, Iowa A Large Red Oval UFO Splits Into Two

Shape of objects: Two curved red ovals.

Full Description of event/sighting: Aug 19, 2008 at 10:25 P.M. It was red at first and it was one big red oval. It then split in two oval shaped pieces which were bright red in color. We first saw it when we were coming home from state center. We looked off to the side and we saw a big red oval shaped thing in the sky. We stopped and turned the car off too look at this object in the sky. We knew it wasn't a plane, because planes don't look like what we saw. It was incredible and the sighting lasted for about 10 minutes, then got lower to the ground and got smaller. Then in a blink of an eye it was gone. West Lafayette, Indiana An Orange Round Light

Location of Sighting: Off Lionheart Lane, towards N140.

Shape of objects: Round.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking the dog around 10:10 pm last night and saw an orange round object in the sky. I assumed it was a star or a plane (it was about that size and was glowing, but the light was constant). The object then appeared to spit apart and the two objects moved rapidly in the opposite direction. One of the objects disappeared. This occurred several times. The last time both objects disappeared. I then thought it might be someone setting off fireworks, but there was no noise associated with the objects and they seemed far too small to be a fireworks display.

Lafayette, Indiana Lights Jets Another Eye Witness To UFO Event

Hello, I typed in "Kokomo Indiana UFO" into Google and came across your site and a description of a UFO that I also saw. I believe it was April 16, at 10:30 p.m. one day before the recent earthquake in Indiana and the surrounding area.


I am a recent graduate of Purdue University and I live in Lafayette, Indiana. What I saw took place at about 10:30 p.m. I was standing on my balcony having a cigarette and about ready to go back inside. However, I noticed a light in the Eastern sky. I assumed it was an airplane that was about to land at the Purdue Airport. I decided to watch the "airplane" fly over me before I went inside. But, instead, I saw this:


The appearance of the light was similar to an orange or yellow street light and it was bright enough that I assumed that the "airplane" was due to fly over me within a matter of minutes. But as I waited, the light did not move. So I waited longer. Then, it disappeared for a brief moment and then reappeared as five or seven similar lights forming a circle. As I watched, the lights formed the shape of a line. The line was again about five or seven lights and it was horizontal.


Then from that line, another line of lights seemed to project from the horizontal line toward a vertical position. During this time, the entire array of lights seemed to move slightly North. The way the second line projected from the first was similar to the way a movie click board opens. Then, those lines seemed to move independent of each other and began moving around each other, either still as lines or independently. Finally, after witnessing this, which I would say took place for about 15 seconds, I ran inside to get my roommate to see it, but when we returned it was gone.


The sky that night was very clear and the moon was out. I also saw a few planes or jets flying all around the sky right after this event and they left many contrails. It has been something that has stayed in my mind ever since I saw it, so I decided to see if anything was on the internet about it. I ran into two other kids a week later who said they also saw it. They told me that many people in Kokomo saw this, therefore I assume that what I saw in Lafayette was the same object that was seen in Kokomo. I hope this helps you in anyway.

West Lafayette, Indiana Huge Meteor And Helicopters Hovering

My name is (name removed). On April 17th At 1:35 Am I left to pick up My check and that's when I saw The Meteor. And yes that's what it was, And buy the way IT WAS BIG ! There was also pieces braking off of it . Any way I went on to work got my check, on the way home I stopped to get gas " And I saw A few (maybe three) Helicopter's hovering over where I guessing one of the pieces broke off and landed. That's about all I can tell you "except if you hold a soda can out with the end facing you at arms length that how big it was, huge! P. S. I'm an amateur astronomer, as well as a night owl so I've seen these a lot but never this big it was kind of scary.

West Lafayette, Indiana Another Witness To Indiana UFO Event

Time: Evening.

Yes, I defiantly saw the lights from West Lafayette, Indiana on the Purdue Campus as I was walking down a street. I looked up and saw a yellow light, it then disappeared and about two seconds later reappeared in a different position. It kept on doing so in a random fashion and at one point there were two yellow lights and one seemed to zoom off. There was one set of dimmer green lights that looked like they were in a circular formation flying away from the yellow lights the green light could have been a plane, but I doubt it and as for the yellow lights defiantly not a plane they were too random and fast to be anything man made. Again I saw this on the 16th in the northeast sky kind of near the horizon from West Lafayette on the Purdue Campus. I have posted this on a blog but saw your entry too and decided to email it to you.
