Craft Or Lights Observed In The Sky Over Covington Louisiana

My first ever sighting, I was blown away. First 20 min craft or lights were very close and drifting from side to side up and down.

They were going out completely at times and then strobes and actual spiral area of some sort which was so unreal.

8 Orange/Red Objects/Lights Seen In The Sky Over Gonzales Louisiana

Date:  February 19, 2015
Time:  6:55 p.m.

Number of Objects: 8
Shape of Objects: Not sure what to call it.
Colour of Object: Orange/Red.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving down the road headed home and I saw these lights ahead to the left.

At first I thought they were towers, but as I got closer I realized it we do to have towers there. I continued straight ahead and they appeared to be moving slowly from my 10 o'clock to my 12 o'clock.

They were in the sky, but didn't appear to be far off. I immediately called my fiancé who was in his car in front of me and he thought they may be air balloons (it was dark out).

But then we realized they definitely weren't air balloons. The closer we got, they started to fade away. One by one.

I tried to record but, my phone said there wasn't enough space to take any pictures.

They had all disappeared by the time we were driving right under them. Scariest thing I've ever seen. I want to know what these things were!

6 Orange Lights/Objects Seen Flying In The Sky Over Walker Louisiana

Time:  12:03 a.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As I went outside to smoke a cigarette before going to bed, I look up in the sky and I see this strange orange light floating through the sky.

I go in to tell my mom which is another witness to this and when we got outside there where 6 of them. So my mom ran inside to go get her camera phone and record it, but the camera stopped working, so as she runs inside to go get her digital camera I’m still outside.

While I’m waiting they sped up and got into a perfect line up and down and disappeared before my mom came outside.

Please explain this to me and it’s wasn't those lanterns, because the way they lined up and took off, there's no way.

Three Bright Lights At The Bottom Of A UFO Over Southern Trace Shreveport Louisiana

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Yes I have see what I thought was something strange. It didn't seem like a airplane. We see airplanes all the time flying over. There is usually a red light with airplane. This object had 3 very, very white bright lights. Kind of making a triangle.

I live in Southern Trace, Louisiana and we saw this about 10:00 p.m. My daughter and husband and I were on the golf cart, taking a night ride in the Summer (in July 2014). What is strange is that I didn't hear anything. Like a plane above, but as we drove on golf cart path, all the sudden the bugs had gotten so loud, I felt like everything in the woods next to us was making noise.

I looked up and there were 3 lights of the under carriage of something. Not a plane and it was only about 40-50 above our heads. We were close to small pond.

It seemed to want to get as far down to the pond as possible, but sped off at super speed. I did get a picture.

Because the incident bothered me and I had thought about it a few days later just my husband and I went on late night golf cart ride at the same time and we saw it again.

I got it on video this time.

I haven't seen the object since September though.

5 Red/Orange Lights Flying Over Denham Springs Louisiana

We saw 5 in the sky around 12:00 a.m. I live in Denham Springs, Louisiana. I’m shocked at the number of sightings that are being reported.

What’s the chances of it being related to fire works? I have foggy video as well.

4 Orange/Red Colored Objects Over Covington Louisiana (Picture)

Date:  December 27, 2012
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Was sitting outside on my porch at about 7:30 central time on December 27, 2012 and noticed to my right low on the horizon, 4 orange/red colored orbs traveling west in formation.

The top 3 orbs appeared smaller than the bottom orb and vanished before I could snap a picture with my iPhone. I was able to get a picture of the bottom orb before it vanished.

When I zoomed in on the picture my phone had taken, I saw a crescent shaped object that was fairly symmetrical in shape. I did not capture an orb in the picture, just a crescent shape, but what my eyes saw were orbs. 

I am also a pilot and know what an aircraft looks like at night. This was no aircraft in my opinion. In addition, about 2 months ago, I witnessed something similar red/orange orb, but this time ascending in a zig zag pattern until vanishing. 

This occurred again while on my porch at night. These events have moved me enough to document this on your site. Whatever it is, it is extremely unusual and foreign to me.

Please see attached picture. This was seen as a red/orange orb with naked eye but camera caught what appears to be a crescent shape object. 

There were 3 others above this one that vanished before I could take the picture. Zoom in and you should see the shape I am referring to.

Second Night Observing A Unknown Light Over South Louisiana

Time:  Evening.

Hi, I was reading an article about a strange light and sightings of planes.

The light is strange and this is my second night observing it. I'm puzzled by it. My husband and mother seen it as well. At first I thought it was a bright star, but it was really bright and began to move.

I have never seen anything like it. It has no blinking light, but I see many planes with blinking lights fly in the same area. I live in South Louisiana. Today is December 3, 2012.

Large Glowing Figure Over Fort Polk Leesville Louisiana

I am originally from Leesville and in the winter of 1975. I remember seeing a large glowing figure follow my family as we left Fort Polk.

The base was being closed due to abnormal activity in the sky. We were told to get in the house and do not look in the sky. I am in my late 40' and still remember it like it was last night.

Green Fireball With Green Trail Following Behind Over Morgan City Louisiana

Hi, I was searching this morning on the internet looking for answers to what I just seen this morning and came across your contact information.

I live in south Louisiana about 10 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in a little town called Morgan City.

It’s all swamp area here for the most part. Well, I was driving my 20 minute commute to work this morning like always when all of a sudden at around 6:45 a.m. I saw a huge green fireball falling from the sky. 

It looked like a flare or something, but it was super fast and going down, not up. It is a very foggy morning here and the thing was so bright it showed up clear as day through the fog.

It looked so close I expected to see an explosion shortly after, but never seen nor heard anything, just the huge ball of green fire with a green trail behind it falling from the sky in about 5 seconds time, if even that long. It was so fast. So that’s my story.

V Shaped UFO Spotted Directly Overhead Of Witness At Denham Springs Louisiana

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was relaxing in hot tub enjoying the clear night sky's. I was facing east when I noticed a movement of small 'like' lights which clearly formed full triangle shape heading in a southward pathway.

Once the under-belly was directly overhead, I was stunned, my partner saw the object too.

It was transparent, but appeared "V" shaped and not triangular with large orbital, 5/6 recess in each arm, slight glow.

White And Blue Ball Of Light With Tail Seen In The Sky Between Raceland And Buotte Louisiana

I saw a white and blue ball with a tail go down behind tree line while I was driving to work. It didn't look very far away, maybe a couple of miles. I was on Highway 90 between Raceland and Buotte Louisiana.

It was about 6:20 a.m. this morning. I don't know if it was reported, but I'm sure others saw it from the road, because it was pretty big.

I would like to know what it was. I'm sure where ever it hit the ground, it must have left a big mark.

8 Orange Colored Lights Move Across The Sky Over Watson Louisiana

Date:  October 20, 2012
Time:  Just after dark.

Arrived home just after dark on October 20, 2012 in Watson Louisiana and saw 8 orange lights move from south too north appearing only one or two at a time.

Seemed as when one would move towards the north, and flicker out and disappear.

Another would come into view from the south in about the same spot as the others. No noise, no airplane strobes. Very very strange. Not a big UFO believer, but cannot explain what they were.

Was unlike anything I have ever seen before. I am a 34 year old aviation enthusiast and am very familiar with commercial and private aircraft. Glad too hear other people have seen these orange lights.

Will check back at this page too see if there ever was a logical explanation for what we are seeing.

V Shaped UFO Seen Flying Over Terrebonne Parish Louisiana

Date:  September 16, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Hi, me and my mom were just sitting outside stargazing, and both saw a V-shaped object fly by that matches the description of the one you saw in April. It was like a dark shadow moving very fast and was completely silent.

There were lighter marks on it, but perfectly spaced and perfectly symmetrical along each "leg" of the V, not actual glowing lights, just a lighter shade of gray.

My mom spotted it first and pointed it out. I only saw it for about two seconds. It was heading south, banked a little towards the east and disappeared behind a line of trees, around 9:00 p.m., maybe a few minutes later.

She's going to keep an eye out for the next few nights.

Transparent V Shaped UFO Spotted In The Sky Over Baton Rouge Louisiana

Object Twirled Around The Sky In Circles Over Lafayette Louisiana

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a tri colored UFO last night around 9:00 p.m. over downtown and it was directly in my eyesight as I was leaving to go get pizza.

 

It twirled around in circles blinking as if it was getting my attention. It displayed colors of red, blue and green then dissipated behind the tree line.

 

Crazy thing is my friend saw it too. I was so fascinated and it really was one the most beautiful things I have ever seen in the sky.

Red Object Seen Over Denham Springs Louisiana

 

Date:  December 2007

Time:  Evening.

 

I live in Denham Springs, LA. I recently had a second sighting of unidentified objects on New Year's Eve at midnight. There were fireworks, but this was certainly not one.

 

I knew this because I had a first sighting around Christmas time in 2007 with friends. The first sighting was multiple object with a flaring red light in each, there were approximately 6-8 objects.

 

This time it was just one. I am posting this to see if we were the only people in the area to see this. My theory is that any bright lights (X'mas lights, fireworks) are attracting them.

UFO Darts Around The Sky Over Livingston Parish Louisiana

Time:  8:38 p.m.

 

My husband and I just watched something very similar from the front door of our home. It's currently 8:38 p.m. Friday night, April 24, 2009. We live in Livingston Parish, about 2 miles south of Hwy 42 on the Tickfaw River. The object was moving south east, just above the tree tops, and seemed to be darting around instead of flying in a consistent line.

 

We did not use binoculars, but once it did look like the lights had separated. At first we thought it was a plane or helicopter, but the darting around nixed that idea. We have discussed in the past whether or not we believe in UFO's and we have always been skeptical.

 

However, over time, we've come to believe that anything is possible. Anyway, just wanted to let you know!
