Craft Or Lights Observed In The Sky Over Covington Louisiana

My first ever sighting, I was blown away. First 20 min craft or lights were very close and drifting from side to side up and down.

They were going out completely at times and then strobes and actual spiral area of some sort which was so unreal.

UFO Observed And Filmed Over Yukon Oklahoma (Pictures)

Time: 11:45 to 12:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I recently was out in my back yard with a cup of coffee, and noticed something moving, then stopped and hovered for about 30 seconds, so I went back in and grabbed our Sony cybershot digital cam and got a picture of it (lower right) UFO?

My wife thinks it's a plane, but I told her you should have seen it's movement, It flew off really fast and was out of sight!

I was home from work this last Tuesday, 9-30-03, the time was about 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., not quite sure.

When I first noticed it, it was just hovering and slowly moving sideways a bit, just west of our house, maybe about 5-8 miles and I would say somewhere between 2000 to 5000 feet.

Not sure, when I rushed back outside with my cam, it flew off after 10 or so seconds, in a north, northeast direction (there is also a small airport in that direction too) very high velocity also, in a few seconds it was gone!

This is the second time I have captured something strange on film, the other time, I caught on film what looked like a B1b Bomber at high altitude, but I never saved it though.

If I would have thought of it at the time, I would have put the cam on record, it takes short 30 sec videos, oh well.

4 Lights In The Sky Observed By Numerous People Over Atlantic Florida

Hello Mr. Vike, I don't know how active you are on here, but just want to let you know that my girlfriend and I and several others outside of the Walgreens on Atlantic saw 4.

I would say maybe like a incandescent 60 watt light bulb.

They were flying southeast along the beach and kind of going out to sea.

There were no navigation lights on and you could clearly see NAV lights on planes well in the distance.

Theses lights were much closer in the foreground, than any other lights in the sky.

Sorry it was yesterday at about 8:30 p.m. or so I got to find my receipt.

Unknown Lights Observed From Sunset Beach North Carolina

 Date:  December 15, 2014
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I was doing some night metal detecting on Sunset Beach, NC tonight around 7:30 p.m.

I kept an eye on the sky to look for meteors and saw a couple of planes way up in the sky.

Then over the ocean, low in the sky I saw 2 white lights that I first thought was another low flying plane, but they weren't moving.

Then the clouds covered them up, and I went back to detecting, assuming the lights were just an airplane.

Then a couple that was out walking on the beach, came running over to me and asked if I saw the UFOs!

They said they see them from time to time, and called them orbs. We discussed the lights for while and I told them I had also seen similar lights on North Myrtle Beach this past summer, in the middle of a thunderstorm and lightning flashes at sea.

5 Red Lights/Objects Were Observed Over Tampa Bay Florida

Date:  December 13, 2014
Time:  7:20 p.m.

My name is (removed) and I filmed five lights in sky 12/13/14 at 7:20 p.m.

Have video and called Bay News 9, and they laughed at it.

Made report to MUFON. They were very close and seen by my wife and son.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, your welcome and we are still a little freaked out of what we seen.

The lights were visible for a total of 10 minuets. The first two were spaced about 10 seconds apart. Once the first one was too far to see anymore then came another.

Once the first two passed a large commercial jet (Allegiant Air) was passing by (as they all seem to make this big U turn over this neighborhood) he had all lights on, landing gear down and could see interior lights on. Very loud as always.

Once it passed and in the same area started theses red orange orbs/fireballs started again. This time I had our Sony Sure shot filming a total of three more came about 10-15 seconds apart again.

They made no sound and looked the same from them coming to us and going away from us. Same color, brightness, size, and direction/speed. Came from NW headed SE.

They were close enough to be able to see clearly, and I don't know what we were looking at. Looked like no more that 100-150 feet high. Witnessed by Me my wife and son.

The sky last night was very clear and was in lower 50's. As crazy as this sounds this was not the first time we seen these orange/red orbs.

Was seen New Years Eve 2012 around 4:00 p.m. still very daylight out and I, wife, and Grandma as well as a few neighbors witnessed.

The same orb like lights, but these were zigzagging all over the place was amazed on how fast they moved.

I'm not real good with converting video from this camera to windows 8, but I do have the video. Thanks for responding so quickly, I have not heard from MUFON as of yet reported last night.

Two Balls Of Orange Light Observed In The Sky Over Miami Florida

I spotted 2 orange balls of lights about a minute apart over the skies of Miami, Florida last night at about 11:00 p.m.

They both moved in the same direction. At odds over what I saw.

Triangle Lights Observed In The Sky Over Kaufman County Texas (Photos)

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I had a feeling I needed to get outside tonight with my camcorder. It was about 10:00 p.m. on March 12, 2005 when I went outside to take a look.

I didn't see anything, but jets and small airplanes at first.

I had my pickup parked where I could see the sky good and sit every once in a while for a break.

I had got out to tape a light that I thought wasn't an aircraft, but it turned out to be one. I started to get back in the pickup when I saw a weird colored light toward the west coming at me.

I thought when I first saw it, it was a glowing object I see a lot of nowadays.I started taping it and noticed it had another dim light behind the bright one.

It was coming from the west and turned and headed toward the northeast going to the right, in front of me. I was taping it and zoomed in and lost it for a couple seconds and zoomed back in on it.

As I was zooming in on it I noticed it had another dim light on the leading corner that made a perfect triangle. I would guesstimate it wasn't moving but about 100 mph or similar to a small plane.

It was close enough I should have heard it, but there was no noise at all coming from it. I want to say it was about 15,000 feet up, but if it was a triangle, some of those reported have been huge, so I won't guess at the height, but it looked to me to be a lot lower than the jets I observe here.

I didn't see any military aircraft in the area at that time. The sky was clear and 70 degrees, nice night to sky-watch.

You need any more info, let me know. I'm sending you some video grabs and if you decide you want to use this, I'll send you two clips of it, over two and a half minutes, let me know.

15 Red Lights Observed Flying Over Paterson New Jersey

Date:  July 26, 2014
Time:  9:45 p.m.

We were sitting in my back yard when all of the sudden I saw red light, followed by another red light.

Then all of the sudden we saw 4 more and one in particular in a form of a V shape.

We counted 15 red lights traveling very slow and then disappear in the clouds. My husband took pictures.

4 Lights Observed Flying Over Oak Island North Carolina

Just saw 4 of these lights. First 2 side by side, then each slowly ascended, disappeared. Within 1 minute, 2 more lights slowly came up over tree tops to approximately same location and did same as first two. Interesting!

Bright Orange Ball Of Light Observed Over Modesto California

Red/Orange Light Observed In The Sky Around Lewisville Lake North Texas

Date:  February 16, 2013
Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Brian, on February 16, 2013 at about 8:00 p.m. I saw a most unusual sight near Lake Lewisville. I live near several of the DFW flight paths and see lots of aircraft coming and going.

This looked like just another plane taking off, northbound, except that it first caught my eye as a reddish/orange light.

I at first thought it might be a meteor. Then I noticed other lights, as expected on an airliner, but this brighter reddish light at the rear made the plane appear to be on fire.

It’s speed and altitude were in accordance with what I see all the time with departing airliners.

By the time I found my camera and got back outside it was almost out of sight, too far and dim for a picture.

I did not see it change its trajectory at all, nor was there any sound.

So in checking the internet for any other accounts of this, I found your welcome page of what another witness have seen.

Lights Observed Flying Over Conover North Carolina (Video Footage)

Date:  February 4, 2013
Time:  Approx: 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

2 very bright horizontal moving independent lights were seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. last night in the south eastern sky.

They were flashing green, red and bright white. No sound was emanating from the lights.

My daughter and I both saw them disappear and re-appear as higher flying airplanes came into the area and left. They were joined by a third craft that formed a V shape and changed positions.

They gradually repositioned themselves further away over a period of about 45 minutes. Finally leaving the field of vision.  

She captured a video of the 3 crafts in the inverted V on her phone.

Apparently, other people saw the lights as well. I will stand firm, believing we saw something unknown.

As we had standard aircraft come into the area at the same time and watch the unknowns disappear when they did. I just want to try and understand what it was.

The below follow-up was done by a fellow who is helping me out. It is greatly appreciated.

This was taken February 4th, 2013 at around 7:00 p.m. in Conover, NC. There are three  lights in question, there are two other foreground lights that are part of the foreground (like street lights or something)

The three lights that were strange are red and green twinkly lights. They are the ones furthest to the left, the highest up one and then the one furthest to the right down at the bottom ( this one is faint, but still visible)

At one point they form a triangle, then the top one moves to the left and then disappears. This is only a segment that I took when my mom first called me outside to see them.

They lasted much longer, they were there prior to the video and then after the video.

At one point they were much closer and much brighter. Hope this helps. I would love to know if others saw anything similar.

Blue Fireball/Meteor Observed Falling From The Sky Over Bethlehem Pennsylvania

Date:  January 21, 2013
Time:  Around midnight.

Last night around 12:00 a.m. I'm not sure of the time I seen from the corner of my eye a light and I live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I ran to the window and seen a blue meteor looking object flying across.

What I found weird was the object came downward, not across the sky like a shooting star. I was scared because I was sure it was something serious. I opened my Facebook in my phone and posted if anyone had seen it right away, and waited to see if anyone else would say something like with every other serious event.

I only had one friend who witnessed it as well. This morning I searched all over Google for a sighting report or something and only came across your posting because of my other friend that had seen it.

It's so frustrating because I know I seen it and almost no one else did and I'm really curious. I know it has to be something different. Meteor? Some UFO? I'm even willing to believe some debris from space or a ship or something.

But I'm glad I'm not the only one who seen it. Feel free to reply or something!

Observed Orange Lights Low In The Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m. – 9 :00 p.m.

Observed orange lights over Phoenix area, 1/15/13 approximately 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and seen by two of us, watching from our backyard in the San Tan Valley.

Lights appeared low in the sky, toward the northwest of us, which would place them in the south Phoenix, north Chandler area.

Lights Observed And Filmed In The Sky Over Miami Florida

While watching fireworks with my family I saw some strange looking lights hovering by. I started to record them after I had seen like 5 pass by. At that point they just didn't seem right so I recorded a few.

I pieced together a video which I posted to my YouTube channel, below is the link.

The lights where all traveling in the same direction as if they where going to a specific point out over the everglades. This was on January 1, 2013 at midnight eastern standard time in Miami, Florida.

Bright Light With Green Colored Tail Observed In The Sky From Northern Idaho

1/11/13,. here in Northern Idaho we saw a bright light with a green tail. It looked like it exploded before it hit the ground, even had a sonic boom, the only news feed I can find is on Spokesman Review (http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2013/jan/11/agency-flash-noise-over-rockford-was-meteor/) for Washington, meteor?

What metal or chemical would burn off in our atmosphere to show a beautiful green?

8 Orange Lights Observed Over Stone Mountain East Atlanta Georgia

Date:  December 31, 2012 and January 1, 2013
Time:  Between midnight and 12:30 a.m.

We saw something similar over the Atlanta area. They seemed to originate near Stone Mountain (east of Atlanta) and generally moved in a northern direction. 

We saw a total of about 8 at different times between midnight and 12:30 a.m.  

We were watching fireworks also and wondered if this was some new kind.

Red Light Observed Over Southwest Indiana

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  8:45 p.m.

Mr. Vike, I read your blog about the bright red light  observed on New Year's eve.

I also am retired and your story is almost identical to what my wife and I observed. We had taken our dogs outside to do their business and at approximately 20:45 hours we observed a bright red object off to the north.

It appeared to be motionless at first with solid red color emitting. It is hard to guess the altitude, but it was low enough that we could clearly make out the light with an overcast night sky.

It was visible to us for about 2 minutes and was completely silent.

The object then abruptly made a side to side movement (horizontal) then a quick movement up and down (vertical) before it faded from our sight. Feel free to email me if you like about this object. We are located S.W. Indiana.
