Just saw a green light crossing overhead North of South Mountain South of Phoenix, Arizona about 15 minutes ago.

Bright Orange Lights Seen In The Sky South Of Phoenix Arizona

Date:  February 10, 2015
Time:  8:40 p.m.

Dear Mr. Brian Vike, I witnessed along with additional eyewitnesses, very bright orange lights that twinkled or sparkled, but a strong orange color like some street lights, south of Phoenix, Arizona last night (February 10, 2015 at 8:40 p.m.).

I saw one, got another eyewitness, then a cluster of 3 or 4 also appeared nearby the original orange light, but shortly disappeared after remaining visible for about a minute.

This is similar to another encounter we had a few months ago, but that event included a much longer and closer encounter, south of Phoenix, specifically south of Pecos Road.

I've had another encounter, years ago, but this was east near Four Peaks area. Color was the same, but movements and abilities were different, in the older encounter northeast of phoenix.

Reddish Orange Glowing Unexplained Aerial Phenomenon Over Central Phoenix Arizona

Date:  February 11, 2015 ?
Time:  Dusk.

Approximately 2 weeks ago (or was it 3?) at dusk on a Tuesday, I was on my front porch scanning the sky while out for a smoke and I noticed a reddish-orange glowing orb that was on a trajectory that didn't quite correspond to normal commercial airliner traffic routes, heading in what appeared to be a southwesterly direction.
 
There was no sign of a metallic craft associated with this phenomenon, just a steady reddish-orange iridescence.

It looked like it was climbing higher into the atmosphere for about a minute, on a shallow ascent vector, then within the short span of three seconds, it seemed to diminish in size and brightness until it was completely invisible to the naked eye.

Rather than call this a UFO, I choose to call it a UAP (unexplained aerial phenomenon).

Round Silent Orange Object Appeared To Be On Fire Seen Over Phoenix Arizona

Date:  February 14, 2013
Time:  Evening.

My husband and I were out on our nightly walk with our dog.

The bottom of the moon was brightly lit with some haze around it and in the shape of a smile.

Suddenly my husband stopped and said, "what is that"?

Appearing low in the sky was an orangey round object flying southwesterly at a constant rate of speed, but silently. It appeared to be on fire.

We watched as it moved across the sky before our eyes, both of us mesmerized by the sight and baffled how it looked to be a ball of fire yet smoothly moving evenly in a southward direction.

As soon as we came home we checked the news for any local reports of this sighting, and checked out Google and saw similar reports dated as recently as one hour before in the state of Washington! Absolutely amazing!

Bright Orange Colored Objects/Lights In The Sky Over South Phoenix Arizona

Date:  January 15, 2013 and January 16, 2013
Time:  Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Okay, so while driving home Tuesday night 1/15/13 I saw 3 large bright orange lights floating in the night sky south of the 1-10. I was driving west on the I-10 just after 7:00 p.m. that night and noticed the lights south of me when I was approaching the 303 freeway construction.

I continued to check on them as I was driving and saw one slowly blink out, I lost sight of them behind a freeway noise barrier wall.

After I passed the wall the remaining two lights were gone, when I drove under the Verrado Way bridge I saw all three lights again this time much farther west of there original position.

I saw the same lights last night, 1/16/13, on my drive home at just after 7:00 p.m., again I noticed them right when I was getting close to the 303 freeway construction, this time there were four light, same color, same size, floating over the mountains south of me.

I continued to watch them. Watched the one on the west end blink out the a minute or so later the one on the east blink out leaving again two. Lost them behind the same wall.

They reappeared again right when I was getting past the same bridge. This time one then all four, again west of their original position.

At first I thought they could be on the mountains, but when I compared where they had been at night to the mountains in the day, they were definitely higher and they appeared in a straight horizontal line.

I'm no aircraft expert, but I did serve 4 years in the Navy and received aircraft identification training. These lights were very bright and large at a great distance, must have been much bigger up close. I will be looking for them again tonight.

Observed Orange Lights Low In The Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

Observed orange lights over Phoenix area, 1/15/13 approximately 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and seen by two of us, watching from our backyard in the San Tan Valley.

Lights appeared low in the sky, toward the northwest of us, which would place them in the south Phoenix, north Chandler area.

Red/Orange Colored Lights Seen Over The Phoenix Sky Harbor Arizona

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  After midnight.

My wife, 2 sons and myself were outside shortly after midnight on 1/1/2013 setting off fireworks. My oldest boy saw an orange light in the sky and alerted us.

We all saw the exact same thing, red/orange orbs rising into the sky from the direction of Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, one after the next, then changing to solid orange and scooting back and forth through the sky for 1-2 minutes until they faded out, then another rose into the air and moved in a different direction.

This happened at least 3 times until it stopped, not sure how long it was happening before we went outside and noticed. They were very bright, stopped in mid-flight and changed direction (certainly not the airplanes we see normally) then continued on in another direction.

I will upload what I caught on HD video to YouTube soon,hopefully the video turned out. We were all a little spooked.

Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

Time:  8:30 p.m.

Moved from south, arced east toward Scottsdale, orange round light, no sound, no blinking.

20 in number some single, some in groups of 3-5 moving at steady speed. This lasted 10-12 minutes.

Two witness including myself. No other aircraft perusing or in area. Couldn't judge distance, but would guess 200-300 mph possibly.

Glowing Orange/Red Light Traveling Slowing Over Phoenix Arizona

A friend and I were driving to work this morning (11/1) around 5:50 a.m. in Phoenix Arizona and we saw something very similar to what you described.

It was a glowing orange/red orb looking thing that was travelling very slowly and eventually dimmed and faded from view. Very bizarre and definitely unexplainable.

Multi Colored Object Seen In The Sky Over North Phoenix Arizona

Time:  Approx: 9:55 p.m.

Brian, I live in north Phoenix. I viewed an object in the sky north of Phoenix hovering for about 25 minutes with my family. I got other neighbors out to see it as well. The object was changing colors from red, blue, green, gold and white. 

At one point I thought I saw a white light go into the object and when it did, the lighted object seem to stop illuminating. We looked at it through binoculars and it was in a disc shape. At about 9:55 p.m. it slowly headed north until it went out of sight over the mountains. 

I have 2 videos of it and one has a plane flying just below it. I did not capture it on video, but a plane did turn towards it as to get a better look at it. I know the flight patterns and planes do not turn in that direction. I sent my video to the news and have not heard anything on this as of yet.

Large Gold Colored Objects Seen Over Phoenix Arizona

We saw the lights over Phoenix last night at the time you mention, right around 22:30. We live in Glendale near 67th Ave and Peoria.

They were to the north, large, gold in color, saw 7 total then the cloud cover obscured them. They were not planes on landing approach to sky harbor.

We are in the flight path from/to sky harbor, we know the flight patterns well having lived here for 19 years.

I saw a formation of lights above phoenix around 10:30 p.m.

UFO's over Phoenix on 10/20/2012. I was standing in my backyard when I looked to my left and saw these hovering in the sky.

I'm not sure what they were, but they were not meteors, they traveled up and to the NE and faded out one by one. These were seen all over the country tonight.

Silver Colored Disc Shaped UFO Seen Over Phoenix Arizona

Shape of Objects: Similar to a disc, but the top and bottom were considerable size.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was coming home from a job interview. I was on a local bus.

When we were approaching 12th St and Camelback, I noticed a bright ray of light seemed to annoy my eyes and I looked out the window and saw the silver UFO with a red circle light at the bottom left.

 Also I noticed a large dark window at the top portion of the UFO. I was shocked, I looked around to ask if anyone had seen it, and some people were sleeping, others listening to music with earphones.

I looked back up and it was gone. Phoenix, AZ and I also Googled this date for UFOs and several sightings of UFOs were seen and some were on the news for October 19, 2011.

Bright Green Light Travels Across The Night Sky Over Phoenix Arizona

I'm glad I found your site. I was starting to think I was the only one who saw the bright green light that night. I searched online, watched the news and gave up. Here it is 6 months later and I find that there were a lot of people that saw it! 

 

I had gone onto my balcony to see if there were any fireworks going on. I live in northeast Phoenix in a 2nd floor apartment.

 

I was looking to the east since it's my best view and was caught off guard by a bright green light going south to north before it disappeared behind the building.

 

It was in the sky long enough that I wished I would have had my video camera out. It was amazing!

4 Pure White Lights Seen In The Sky Over SkyHarbor Phoenix Arizona

 

Date:  March 29, 2012

Time:  Between 9:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

 

I did not see the '2 orange glowing lights' a witness mentioned in your post, but I did see 4 pure white lights in place for maybe 15 minutes estimated to be in area over central Phoenix (maybe SkyHarbor) as seen from Avondale.

 

The police cruiser I was behind, pulled over in vacant lot to watch them. Surprised no news coverage on this, the lights were very large, very bright and there was an uncommon amount of plane and helicopter traffic in the air around them.

 

Never saw the lights move. Planes also did not seem to be on their normal flight corridors during and after the sighting. The time of sighting was roughly between 9:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. I was in a car most of my sighting.

 

The lights seemed to be spherical as opposed to beam light, such as spot lights. I do not have a guess at what they were only that they did not fit any comparable reference.

Large Black Rectangular UFO Spotted Over Phoenix Arizona

 

Date:  2006

Time:  Daytime.

 

I saw the same big black rectangular UFO in Phoenix Arizona in 2006. I was in a Wal-Mart parking lot and it was a partly cloudy day.

 

I saw it moving up at an angle contrary to the direction the clouds were moving. I watched it until it disappeared.

 

I was in shock and I approached others in the parking lot and asked them if they also saw it.

 

Apparently no one else was looking up at the time.

 

It is a pity that I didn't have a good digital camera.

Large Helicopter And Jet Aircraft Pursue Light Green Circular UFO Over Phoenix Arizona

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting outside daydreaming and looking at the sky, when I saw a light green circle moving from the north (the direction I happened to be staring in) to the south.

I went inside and told my roommate, who joined me outside.

Two minutes later, we both saw a huge helicopter and a jet flew over my house, following the exact same path as the green object. (There is an Air Force Base just North of Phoenix, where I’m guessing these to aircraft came from)

These 2 aircraft gave up pursuit before my eyes, I watched the helicopter first turn around, then 10-15 seconds later, the jet did too, flying back in the direction them (and the aircraft) came from.

Object Changes From Vibrant Orange To Red To Green And To Seen And From Phoenix Arizona

I watched it while heading north on I-17 towards Greenway. The light was in the sky to my right (east) side and was a vibrant orange to red. I asked my boyfriend if he saw what I was looking at, and as he looked the light was green and then blue!

 

It was not a firework and it was traveling at excessive speeds. We were traveling at 75 mph and it was at least double our speed. It was the most surreal and explainable thing I've ever seen!! Definitely not a firework, or aircraft.
